Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I just want to be part of the discussion biggrin.png

I am looking forward to all the class reworks and the massive amount of theorycrafting and learning to come. One of the biggest joys of draenor for me was working specific rotation styles and builds along side many of the other fine people who habitat these boards. going into legion it isn't as simple as it was. we have completely overhauled classes, new abilities, a new class, new specs, and even once we get that squared away we have all the artifact traits and abilities. then finally once we have that the various legendaries and trinkets and tier sets that will come our way will rustle it up again.

its one giant puzzle waiting to be solved..........

and I look forward to solving it along side my icy-veins family smile.png

I'm hype for the artifact weapon, but also to tank on Demon hunter for my raid group. Everything looks amazing in legion.

Really looking forward to all the new animations and effects in Legion! Will definitely improve the feel of the gameplay a lot!

And my fondest memory of playing WoW has to be the time I first got to 2000 arena rating in 3v3 in MoP with irl friends!

Loved the class fantasy in the past, and loving watching what they are doing with the classes in Legion alpha.

I look forward to when I finally choose a class to main - hard to make a choice!

I can't wait to learn the stories of the different artifact weapons.

One of my fondest wow memories was my Vanilla guilds first Nef kill. The excitement and sense of satisfaction were through the roof. Recently got back into WoW and hope to have more moments like that in Legion.

I'm most excited for the multiple changes that seem to be pointing in the direction of a game that is easier to balance. The artifact talent trees, honor talent trees and the changes to the standard talent trees all seem to provide for a system that allows for a lot of fine-tuning from Blizzard to keep PvP and PvE balanced throughout the expansion.

The second most exciting change coming in legion for me is the reestablishment of class and spec identity. In some cases Blizzard may have "over pruned," but I think ensuring each spec has its own specific niche and role will lead to much more engaging game play in both PvP and PvE.

Aside from the core game play changes, the transmog changes are easily the feature I look forward to the most. My bank is way too full of transmog gear!

Can't wait to see the new zones and get my hands on the artifact weapons!

And of course the biggest update to the game imo; THE WARDROBE :D

Prolly gonna collect every piece of gear for transmogging :P

I want to see how the ability pruning is affecting the gameplay in Legion, how it feels like. Test Death Knights and provide some feedback..

I'm really looking forward to playing Demon Hunter. I just hope that Class Halls will be more fun than Garrisons.

This may sound silly, but at the moment I'm most looking forward to the new transmog system.  I have banks and void storage loaded up on all of my characters and need the space back!

As far as the most enjoyable moment I had in WoW...  It would have to be the day that my then-boyfriend (and now husband) decided to reactivate his account to log in and play with me.  It was a wonderful day.  :)

I'm most excited to just explore the new zones which are coming in Legion, Blizzard always put so much effort into the environment and it never fails to impress.
Also I cant wait for the transmog wardrobe so I can finally keep track of what appearances I have and get all my chars looking decent. biggrin.png

My fondest memory of WoW would have to be when I re-subbed in Mists of Pandaria and finally got to explore, Pandaria was and probably always will be my favourite zone in the game.

All the new Artifacts, pvp system. Been playing a Paladin for the best part of 9 years, but been doing a lot more of Brewmaster and Resto Druid lately it'll be a nice change having these other classes to divert to when a new expansion releases.

Looking forward to the new lore and new zones for the most part.

I love that they made the highmountain zone, a zone mostly made of mountains, and the top is central located, so i can jump down with my new demon hunter with that nice glide and say hello to Dalaran. I just remember the days when i used to do this Cataclysm.

The thing i'm looking forward to the most in legion is definatly the artifact weapons, from what i've seen it looks like great fun powering up your artifact to make it more powerful. It also gives alot more backstory and meaning to all the different classes and speccs. I'm also looking forward to the raids and the new challenge mode dungeon format which will give people more options for gearing other than raids. I'm hoping that this expansion will bring the people from my old guild back aswell so we can relive and create new memories in all the glorius new content coming out in Legion! biggrin.png

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
