Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm looking forward to the new lore and the artifact system. Anything dealing with the Legion brings back fond memories of BC. As for my favorite era of WoW I would have to say it was during Wrath. Killing the Lich Kung was one of the best moments I've ever had as a player.

I'm most excited to see how the world content ends up, like the level scaling and even world bosses. I also can't wait to collect as many artifact appearances as I can and make transmogs with them.

One of my best memories in WoW was reaching max level for the first time and finally gearing up my paladin properly. :)

I think what's got me most excited about legion in general is the amount of work they've put into the class design, I'm not even sure what I want to main anymore since they're bringing back the identity of so many specs across the board.

And of course the new transmog system, my bags, bank and void storage are all jam packed so it will be nice to no longer have to choose between sets I want to keep.

Really looking forward to the new order halls. In the past, I loved the garrisons, but it was just a little too much and spent way too much time there. Looking forward the the new scenery/uniqueness of order halls but still excited for the slight garrison feel. Also can't wait to be reunited with Dalaran!

I'm really looking forward to having my bags cleared from all this transmog gear I've gathered over the past years.

Nowadys when I find a new Item I don't even have space to keep it because I don't want to delete any of the other beautiful Items I have :)

I really enjoyed most of the previous content, especially raiding in zones like blackwing lair, kharazan, icecrown citadel and Hellfire Citadel. I am looking forwards to new raid content and especially class artifacts.

Hi , of course :D

My personnal moment: please dont laugh! I was new to the game and with a friend met in game ( we are still close friend and still play together today) He was playing for a while and he was teaching me how to play, i was playing a holy priest at that time and leveling as holy during the end of bc/start of wrath and i was dying all the time and felt so squichy so i told him he was lucky to play a paladin because he had a plate cloak lol, yah , plate cloak so easy to wear haha!

What im really hyped about legion : alot!!! Artefact, the new content class hall, illidan, new raid, the demon hunter ^^ The new pvp talent

What im worried about : all the class change haha!

Ps: this post need to win a beta :D

/cheer @ Icy Veins! I am probably most looking forward to (hopefully) being able to solo ToT so I can get my SPA up. It's my last one for MOP!! It's always exciting when a new expansion comes out, just to see the changes, sometimes good, sometimes not lol.

I would have to say one of my most exciting moments in wow was actually just recently when I completed the Have...Have We Met? chiev. I got my last two in one day!! I was pretty ecstatic. I've become somewhat of an achievement junkie.

Thanks for the opportunity Icy Veins and good luck to all! biggrin.png

World of Warcraft is without a doubt the best game ever made. My best memory was the first time i've stepped into Karazhan. Unfortunately WoW is in decline, even with the efforts of the Blizzard-team. Its a shame but everything comes and goes. That's the thing with Legion for me at least, it will be a come or a go. The story line we get to play looks amazing. But for now it's our guesses on how the story will unfold. I don't look forward to the class order halls, but the artifacts look amazing.

oh and druid for life <3

I'm looking forward to Dalaran being the main city again the most, I know it's weird but wrath just felt right being able to walk among the other faction showing off gear/ dueling what have you. I'm extremely hopeful with this next expansion and demon hunter looks like an exciting class to play. I hope I get that epic feeling again, my most favorite moment in wow was when I got the legendary on my ret pally in wrath, it just felt amazing. Here's to hoping legion brings back the feels. :)

I am really looking forward to Demon Hunters, Spriest, DK, and Pally changes. I hope to have some awesome WPvP fun in Legion with my amazing family-like WPvP guild that I've been with for over 2 years so far smile.png Even though I PvP, this is the only expansion that has given me an interest in PvE. I technically started in BC, but didn't really care or understand the whole PvE thing and wasn't even half-way decent in PvP, so I usually just fooled around and had fun with the friends that got me into WoW. I hope I can bring two of them back once Legion comes out and continue our old "Pally Pal Adventures." (This time not dying to bears with skulls on their portrait through the Ghostlands - Plaguelands portal.)

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
