Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Can't wait to play it especially the new beautifully made dungeons and raids. The awesome boss designs and even the questing. I'd like to try out the new pvp system; it looks really good. I'm just happy that Illidan is back. And of course DEMON HUNTERZ. Can't wait to jump twice with him :D

I'm so excited for Legion. Love the artifact weapon system, the new dungeons, Demon Hunters! But maybe most of all I'm super excited to see how the story of each zone will turn out and how the story of the overall expansion will go.

I'll say as much as people dislike WoD (for good reasons) it's been the expansion I have played the most and have finally found a guild that I enjoy. Along with realizing that I really enjoy tanking and have strived to learn each class.

In Legion, I'm looking Forward to the Lore that will be involved such as the Burning Legion, Demon Hunters, and Dalaran. Why is Dalaran hovering over the Broken isle?

My fav moment in wow was Doing For the horde.  so awesome seeing alliance cities while being attacked

I am very much looking forward to dalaran - that smithing area next to the auction house was like my home. My favourite memory is the starting cinematic... the voice always sends tingles down my spine -that is WoW for me

I have to say that what I am most looking forward to in Legion, besides the artifact weapons which I think is neat, is the fact that we are finally going to get to explore the area where The Tomb of Sargeras is. I have been wanting to see that place since I read that [spoilers! Spoilers! Spoilers! Beware if you don't want Original Gul'Dan lore spoiled!] Gul'dan went there to get something, but he never made it out alive! Another thing I am looking forward to is the class changes, a lot of which I like despite other individuals opinions, and the fact that a lot of major characters are going to have an end to their stories! I would go into more detail here, but I want to post as few spoilers as possible. My only hope is that Green Jesus finally exits the lime light, whether it be via death or not; and we finally get to see Vol'jin putting in work as the Warchief.

I am so excited for the transmog interface that I have two bank alts with max bag space full of greens and blues and I can't wait to have space in my bags again -.-

Also, I'm beyond thrilled for the lore to actually move forward again. The only thing in Warlords that is related to the rest of the game is Gul'dan escaping which, let's be completely honest, could have been established in a novel. I am glad that Gul'dan is back though, as I've always played Orc and I always saw him as the looming shadow over the Orcish race and one of the best villains in Warcraft lore.

I look forward to the new challange modes and raids in Legion. As well as some nice refreshments to my class!

My favorite moments in WoW has been all the time I've spent with my friends and guildmates, I could not ask for better people to be around!

I know it has been said many times but I am really looking forward to the Artifact Weapons. Also being away from pvp in WoD, I am interested in getting back into pvp with the new talent and honor system. It looks really interesting and I think Blizz is working hard at making pvp more balanced.

Lastly, having the ability to swap between which ever spec I want will be Awesome!! Not only having 2 specs is great.

I am mostly looking forward to the Guardian druid look changes. I think it is pretty awesome how the different weapons change the look of the bear. Also raiding of course and trying to tank with the demon hunter. Artifact weapons will be amazing. Get ready for the grind.

So how about some "BetaKey Giveaway Hype" biggrin.png

I believe the first thing I would do, ist to create 4 Druids and play the Artifact Questline with all 4 of them. They all look soooo amazing with the new Skins they get from the Artifact, and the updated Models are really well done! And the Testing; who wouldn't want to test the mainspec firsthand, before Legion hits the live Servers ... and if that's not incentive enough, than running all the normal and heroic Instances with Guildmates and Friends (who all have the Alpha already sad.png ) is just like the Cherry on top of the Cake cool.png With all the Changes to the Talents and Spells, I can't really decide if i want to go Feral or Boomkin in Legion. Blizz is doing a fine Job what Boomkins goes, as far the other 3 Specs go, I would love to play them on the Beta to see how they've changed. Also I would love to see the all the questing Areas, especially Val'Sharah rolleyes.gif  since it has a deep conection with Druid lore.

As far as my ingame memories go, there are a lot of funny stories with my Guildmates and Friends, but perhaps one of the funniest was, when I, as Guiardian Druid in Firelands during Raggnaros fight, did manage to kick the small Adds to the Hammer and wiped the whole group biggrin.png That was fun to see afterwards

Sry for the long Post and the bad english laugh.png

I for one can't wait for all the changes. I know it's always seen as controversial by Blizzard to change so much around(Or so little depending on who you ask) during expansions, but I enjoy relearning classes and playing around with the new changes. As someone who has been maining a paladin since vanilla(R.I.P seal debuff weaving), can't wait to see how the changes will play out, and how fun it will be to adapt and relearn the class yet again. And as an avid collector of gear, really looking forward to the changes(and soon to be bag room) that will be had from the new transmog system. There's just so much to look forward to(especially as an altoholic) that the release for legion can't come soon enough.

I look forward to everything actually, as I am generally an glass half-full kinda person. The new pvp system, the DH, the new dungeons and raids, the graphics updates, the artifact, the Disc priest rework <3, and especially the idea behind the expansion. ILLIDAN?! AZSHARA?! OLD GODS?! I'm just so pumped! biggrin.png

And hopefully this expansion will finally bring my RL friends back into the game. Been playing solo for years now. :p

WoW .. a twelwe years love story. The longest love story I have ever had :)

I'm so thrilled to try the new challenge mode dungeons in Legion they sound promising.

I hope they are as challenging as my first DM runs i had on release ! I feel so nostalgic thinking about those runs.

Also, I love the new melee spell animations fury warriors looks really furious for once !

What I like most about WoW is the interaction that I have with my guild mates.  I've been raiding with the same guild since the beginning of Litch King and have made some great real life friendships!  We're not the top guild nor are we the bottom, but we always have fun in the game, questing and raiding together.

Going forward, I'm really excited the new Disc Priest rework.  I really hope that Blizz gets the balance between damage and healing correct and that the Disc Priest is a dynamic, challenging class to play.  I've seen YouTube footage of the initial abilities of the disc priest and it definitely looks like its going to be more engaging that just bubble spamming with the odd penance thrown in.  If the new atonement healing is successful it will add a new edge to game play for both healers and dpsers who are starting to feel a bit stagnant in their class roles and want a change.  I love how blizz is really focusing Legion on classes and are trying to stay true to class lore in choosing how a class and spec functions.  I don't think they could have picked a better way with the disc priest being between holy and shadow to do their job.

Other things I'm especially looking forward to: Diving deeper into the Emerald Dream and NE Lore, the new Transmog system, and the new prestige pvp system.  I loved to pvp every once in awhile back in Burning Crusade, and I hope the new system makes battlegrounds feel more balanced for the casual pvp player.

I'm really excited for professions to be relevant again in Legion.  I'm so attached to my main not because of his class, but because of his professions (Alchemy).  I have all the Alchemy recipes in game, even the old unobtainable ones.  I can't wait to actually have quests to do for Alchemy!

Also, Challenge Mode dungeon revamp is looking very promising.  It will be a worthwhile thing to do on off raid nights for me and my friends!

I can't even explain how much I'm looking forward to the wardrobe/transmog system. I'm following the debate about unlock rules very, very closely.

Excited to try out the new Survival Hunter - a melee hunter is certainly a unique flavor. In addition, I am curious how DK's will function with runes that are of all the same type.

I started back in Wrath when ICC was open, enjoyed playing a hero class such as DK. Loved playing the DK starting storyline, can't wait to try out the demon hunter's!

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
