Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm waiting to try those new dungeons that imo look really well done and seem mechanically fun to do. The lore, after reading Chronicles, got my attention, and I really want to know what will happen in the expansion. Just hope that the game will have great post launch content.

The part of Legion I'm most looking forward to is the new Lore.  What's going to happen to many of the characters we've come to know and love? What about the Titans and their Pillars of Creation, especially given everything we learned from Chronicles.  And where does Illidan fit into all this?

Besides the lore, I'm also really looking forward to the new zones and their scaling leveling.  All of them look incredible so far from what we've seen, and I can't wait to be able to do them in whatever order I want.  Should make leveling alts a lot less boring.

Hey got really into PvP for the first time from googling your guide sites, glad to know your giving away some keys. WOD was the first expansion that got me into this game so I've never been apart of a beta experience. Thank you for the offer guys.

Very excited about the changes for blood dks. Love seeing heart strike back and find the new rotation much more intriguing and fun compared to how boring it is on live.

Most excited for mage changes as it is my main. Hope to see frost rotation still be fun even without frostfirebolt and the change to I using frozen orb more often. Love the animations I've seen so far in alpha of fire and frost mages. Looking forward to a great expansion.

I am really looking forward to Legion and the possible showing of Kil'jaeden as a possible last boss. I also am looking forward to finally ending Gul'dan and i am hyped for the fight. Been playing WoW since BC and "growing up" during a demon era with Sunwell and BT. WoW has always been my on and off game, but i could not be more hyped for legion and its class and overall changes. My favourite WoW moment has to be my recent kill of Mythic Archimonde and the banter my guild provides.

I'm really looking forward to having clean banks thanks to the wardrobe system wub.png and of course all the artifacts. I'm capping all the classes even those I didn't really like before  just because I want to complete all quest chains myself. My fondest memory in WoW so far was our server 2nd kill on the Lich King back on my old server. I hope Legion will be is good as it looks, so I can go back into a bit more hardcore raiding.smile.png

I'm really looking forward to the transmog update. I find that besides raiding, what I love is to make my character look awesome. The new system lets me do that, but better.

I have enjoyed the high quality raids. I'm hoping that Legion brings content that is better than it was in the past. Not to mention some cool looking sets.

Nice action. I'm mainly looking forward to the PvP. As a rather new player (about half a year now), I always felt the entry barrier into PvP to be steep, especially with not only being at a knowledge disadvantage, but also a gear disadvantage. In Legion this will hopefully(it should) change for the better so I can have a better platform to start building PvP know-how from.

Looking forward to that rush of adrenaline one gets right as the expansion is activated.  Leveling in WoD was probably one of the most enjoyable moments in WoW that I can recall.

Man I'm looking forward to the same thing I have always looked forward to. The adventures. Working together with friends through a new continent, all the new zones, quests and stories.. Getting to enter the new raids and beating them together. Reason I fell in love 8 years ago. Reason I will be playing this game for as long as it continues existing.

Im excited to see who the epic end raid boss will be in this expansion, and playing my Hunter with melee again like in MOP will be the best thing ever. The first time killing Garrosh on Heroic after so many wipes was such an incredible moment.

I think the thing I am most looking forward to in Legion would be the new artifact weapon system. Having a single weapon and building upon it throughout the entire expansion is actually something that appeals to me a lot. Other than that, I am also excited for the new Challenge Mode system.

My fondest memory in Warcraft is when I was still new to the game back in Vanilla, and I would spend hours upon hours just running around and exploring everything. I specifically remember doing a lot of wall jumping around Stormwind and trying to get under it and stuff like that.

Good luck to everyone entering!

I'm looking forward to all the profession changes. Specifically the gather professions and the neat bonus object quests that you can do with them. I like that blizzard is adding a layer of complexity to the gathering profession other than just go herb this go mine that. I can't wait!

Really just excited to kill the burning legion and learn more on how we can murder sargeras!!!

But I really miss vanilla for the intense burning legion they had us fight as well as burning crusade for the same reason.

looking forward to almost everything in Legion, from the new PvP system to the Artifact weapons, to the new zones, dungeons and raids and most of all, to the new Challenge mode system. it seems like Legion is going to be a pretty good expansion. i also can't wait to experience the leveling in Broken Isles since i always enjoy exploring and following the storylines smile.png

Greetings! I am very much looking forward to exploring the world, Highmountain looks epic! And trying out the new artifact weapons & legendaries. I think it has the potential to add very fun gameplay smile.png Also the new druid forms look amazing, definitely need to get my hands on those! Also i love the idea of the new challenge modes, that you need keystones & and can increase the difficulty even further for better rewards & glory! Love that they implement new things that are similar to those in Diablo 3 - like the new transmog system & challenge modes :)

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
