Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Super hyped for this expansion.

The specs look amazing this far, won't be able to resist creating a Shadow Priest, Demonology Warlock and a Retribution Paladin. I think Blizzard is finally giving the classes (and specs) some character which I absolutely love.

The zones looks amazing, I love the art style and it reminds me a bit of Wrath.

Mounts look cool, artifact weapons look sick and the dungeons this far are awesome.

I don't care what anyone says, Legion seems to be the expansion for me this far. Been playing since early Wrath and this is the first time I'm really truly 100% glad to see what they're doing with the game. :)

I'm looking forward to see how Artifacts play out and if they're an improvement in the grand scheme of things.

I'm also excited to experience the new gearing mechanics, where secondary stats will start higher on lower gear and not scale up as much as primary stats will as ilvl increases.

Having crappy secondary stats at the start of the expansion is always a turn-off for me, I love how inflated they get by the end of an expansion and hope that Legion falls somewhere nicely in the middle.

I'm looking forward to try out the new class! Also I want to see what kind of awesome artifact will the hunters get, since that's my main class. And I'm pretty interested in how is the lore going to change and evolve on this new expansion :D!

My fondest memories of wow are 2. The main one is how it is able to shorten the distance between me and my long distance boyfriend, by doing pvp or just hanging out and enjoying the scenary (like a date xD). And the second one is the awesome friends we made on our old guild. Even if it was years ago, we still talk to each other and are so close thanks to wow :)

I'm honestly looking forward to an influx of new and returning players to restore some actively and life in the game that i enjoy.  Also relearning how to play classes is always enjoyable with every expansion.

Ever since the switch to the current version of the talent system I personally have missed the older system with 1 point to spend every level. As a result I'm pretty excited for the artifact weapons as I feel like the braching talent tree of sorts will replace what I miss from past systems.

I'm also stoked for the new animations, particularly on Fury warrior, I normally run Arms but that rampage animation is so stellar.

Wow, really glad to see some of these going out so early.

I'm really excited for the level of balance I'm expecting to come out of the PvP changes. The fact that each spec is given customized stats that can be tuned with hotfixes means that if anything gets too out of line they can change it easily.

The artifact system is neat, and PvP talents are a fantastic idea that's really opening up a lot of power for PvP interaction. From what I've seen of the dungeon content, it all looks fantastic. Some of the bosses are so interesting to watch and everything looks amazing. As an RPer I'm especially excited to see all the new Night Elf lore and all the new transmog appearances, bonus points for my banks not being full of stuff I only have for appearances too.

I personally want to see the story progress, I can't wait to finally see what the denizens of Azeroth will do to fight off the legion, plus I've been hoping to see the broken isles ever since they were on the map from vanilla launch-wotlk launch.

I am most excited about all the classes getting reworked in some way, plus new animations. But also any new content at all is going to be great. I hope they find a way to make leveling feel more challenging and fun.

I'm really looking forward to all the new art and environments. If WoD is anything to go by, Legion will be great in that regard.

I am really excited to try out some of the new shaman changes as well as the new pvp system. Here's to hoping pvp will be more skill based. Fondest moment in the past was leveling my first character and being amazed at how vast the world seemed. Such a cool feeling!

I've been watching Slootbag stream alpha content.  I can't wait to try out the new Prot paladin stuff and test out the artifact, I've been playing since vanilla and been maining a prot paladin since the end of WotLK.  I love wow and just want to help it continue to be a great game :)!

After playing gw2, bns, bdo & teso i realised WoW is still a beast. And Legion looks, especially with pvp talents so appealing to me. So i m hoping for the best in Legion.

I'm really looking forward to the new Beastmaser Hunter and Demonology lock. I love summoning stuff and have always wanted a nercromancer class. I guess this is the best we'll get for now.

I can't wait to finally have questions that have been asked for years answered and any loose ends from previous xpacs tied up biggrin.png .

I also can't wait to see who the end boss will be and how blizz will explain story wise why we can't use the Artifact weapons in the xpac after.

So hyped! I'm really looking forward to collecting as many artifacts as I can, and I'm really curious to see how the new challenge mode dungeons are gonna play out, and of course, fighting gul'dan!!

My fondest memory was stepping into Icecrown Citadel for the first time way back when. I still get chills whenever I kill the lich king from the cinematic. So good.

Looking forward to: Personally everything I have seen looks good I mean class halls look like better garrisons. The new zones look amazing along with the levelling scaling feature. All of the classes getting new animations and spells. Hell I'm even looking forward to PvP and I hardly ever do PvP right now. Honestly Blizz look like they are pulling out all of the stops to make legion a very memorable expansion and they aren't doing this out of desperation for the subs to come back but instead it feels more like it has all been heading towards this.

What I Enjoyed: I only started playing late MoP so I don't know the feeling of BC or WoTLK but honestly I enjoyed some of the old raids from this time frame and not just for achieves or gold farming but instead because they are all unique and some are actually challenging.

Hell if I do or don't get the key I still can't wait for Legion

Bring on the movie and Expansion :D

My fondest memory of wow would be when i was a little kid, and my father gave me 100g to get my first mount, the striped nightsaber and my thing im looking forward to in legion is the new feral models from the artifact weapon, and the wardrobe for when i am out of cat form. Although i wonder how some of the legendaries are going to be obtained.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
