Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I am looking forward to tradeable personal loot if you have the same item level or better.

I am also looking forward to the new ret Paladian raid utility and rotation.

I am also looking forward to Ret Paladins actually having a viable aoe build.

I am also looking forward to scaling dungeons like diablo greater rifts!!!! I've always loved dungeons but they get stale after a while. This should fix it in a great way adding a different type of endgame content.

I am also looking forward to... of course ASHBRINGER

In Legion, the changes that I am looking forward to most will be the changes to holy paladin making them playable, in my eyes, once again. With actual effective aoe healing we will no longer be just focusing on 1 or 2 targets at a time. We also seem to be replacing fistweavers as it appears our mastery will lock us towards a group of players. Holy paladin shockadin also looks like it's making a return which I am truly excited about.

All in all every single bit of each Holy, Protection, and retribution look to be absolutely fantastic as of so far but I'd love to test some limits and possibilities to Holy paladin healing and its shockadin capabilities.

My fondest memory in warcraft history would have to be when I happened upon a raiding guild at the start of WotLK. It was just a small group of 10 or so people that I ended up fitting quite well with. We managed to keep the guild together until Cata at which people started going their separate ways. That aside I became great friends with the "then" GM of the guild and we've become quite inseparable even until this day both in game and out of. I think we've known each other now for 8ish years.

All the different cat/bear forms coming to druids! Always hated how transmog was pointless for my druid, but now i actually get to customize too!

I just came back 3 months ago to World of Warcraft after a 3 year break.

During this expansion I enjoyed and am still enjoying a lot of things like mythic dungeons, the "new" Raids like HFC, HM and BRF. I even enjoy Ashran sometimes (when my team is actually playing as a team, and not everyone doing their own stuff).

I am not able to enumerate all the points I am looking for to see in Legion.

The new class halls is absolutely amazing. I am a main rogue player and I am really eager to see by myself how this class halls will be.

I am super excited about the new class changes they made, especially to the rogue, even though I kinda dislike what they've done to the combat specc.

I was never a big pvp player, but this new pvp ranking system makes me more and more interested in this direction.

Another point is the absolutely amazing demon hunter class.

I am so 100% sure that I will main this class untill I am the best. I saw a lot of youtube videos by Legion Alpha testers about the demon hunter. The animations are awesome and the gameplay looks so cool and extensive.

I dont want to write a book, so this should be it for now.

Hope I can win a beta key to be one of the happy people how have the privilege to try out the game before others. I would use my knowledge to become better and better and when I feel I achieved my goals, I will help people to achieve what I achieved.

Legion be aware. This is the end.

Personally I have been enjoying every single wow expansion so far, been playing since vanilla (though I sucked badly at wow up untill wrath when I started to understand the actual game) I mainly enjoy the PvE part of wow but sometimes still do pvp. I look forward to the articact weapons and talent system as well as new PvE content! and I cant wait to try out demon hunters in legion aswell, I got myself a DH spot in my raiding guild already. hoping to get a good feeling for them. I have a good feeling legion is only going to bring good things to wow, so I have my hopes high. :)

Really looking forward to the pvp changes and the new pvp honor system. My greatest memories from wow come from doing bgs all day with a bunch of friends and chating away on skype. Such good times and looking forward to much more in legion!

So what I am looking forward to in legion is really just a reason to enjoy playing the game again, warlords of Draenor ruined the experience for me with garrisons so excited to see there next rendition of it being class halls. Which is like a great thing for each class community , being able to look at people off the same class , share ideas with them , learn from them , and generally have your own class community and generally a community again which is something I feel wow has missed this expansion.

TLDR - Excited for some community to hopefully spark via class halls.

My fondest memory of wow has to be the first time I ever played the game, finding ironforge as my dwarf warrior just a hour or 2 into the game and spending the next 2 hours running around exploring every crack in the city, before finally questing. Because of my love for the dwarf starting zone my afk spot for many years was kharanos which I still afk in every so often for old times sake :D

I just started playing WoW this year and I am totally loving it! I'm hoping to see more people join with the newest expansion and a lot more socialization between players. I'm also really excited about new raid content and transmorgs as well as making new community bonds!

Plus... demon hunters!! How rad does that sound!??!

Can't wait to party with you all against the Legion!

Looking forward to the transmog changes and the collecting it'll bring, giving me a reason to basically revisit every dungeon/raid will be nice. The artifacts are nice, while I'm not into PvPing but I might look into it with all the changes coming. Demon hunters!

One of the smaller changes is honestly what has me the most excited, being able to spec any spec without constantly fixing hotbars/worrying about messing up my raiding specs. I can finally step into healing without worrying about losing a tank/dps spec. Such a small, but impactful QOL fix coming with Legion!

I've been playing WoW since I was in 5th grade (3rd year college now). I'm honestly most excited to have that drive to play again... new zones to explore, new skills to master, new bosses to defeat and new loot to take! WoD was a bit of a rough patch, and though I enjoyed it, I really have no desire to play anymore... I really want that spark for WoW back in my life, and if I get to partake in the beta, that spark will occur just a bit sooner :)

I am most looking forward to the increasingly difficult dungeons that are similar to GRIFTS from D3. I haven't raided since WotLK and I love the idea of being able to get raid comparable gear with a 5 man instead of having to commit to 19 other people's schedules.

I'm really hoping Legion is much more social than the last couple expansions because I really miss meeting new people outside of a raid setting.

I've always been very interested in Warcraft's rich history and lore. It's why new expansions always manage to reel me in and get me all hyped up. The latest release of Chronicles is also made with Legion in mind so things that have been spoilered (not that I mind myself!) are really starting to come together. With that said the stories tied into the Artifacts are also very interesting, further revealing or introducing us to things that were never properly explained.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
