Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm looking forward most of all to find out how Sylvanas's story progresses! Been a diehard fan girl of hers ever since Warcraft 3. She's an amazing tragic character that's had so much effect in this game, and I'm dying to know what happens next!

I am looking forward to the artifact weapons and class halls! I really hope they can bring back the unique feel of each class. I also can't wait to meet a grown up Nomi. I'm curious about what my former student has been up to! Most of all, I am looking forward to exploring new content with my husband. We met and fell in love on game. My favorite memory from WoW was the day I joined his guild. He was the first one to send me a welcome message in gchat. 10 years later, we are happy and stil play together!

I really am looking forward to Demon Hunters and the new Xmog system in legion! Something that was really cool in the past was DK's, my favorite!

I'm really excited for the new mounts. I really like the diversity between the Fox mounts, the Rat Mount, the fish mount, and especially excited for new dragons! I'm also extremely excited for Hunter pets and Demon Hunters.

The Transmog Wardrobe is probably the biggest thing I'm looking forward to in the expansion. The content itself will be nice to play but for so long I've been wandering around with large amount of extra gear in my bags just because they "looked cool". With the Transmog system coming I can finally get ride of all the excess gear and store things that should really be stored in my bags, bank, and void storage.

Some of my favorite features in the previous expansion was the toy box, mount collection, etc that just made it easier to navigate things. Even adding a search bar in the bags and banks made things a lot easier. Organization is the key to victory and that is how we will bring down the Legion...OCD them to death.

I'm really interested in the new spec overhauls, I'd love to be able to try out the "new specs" before release to decide what I'll be maining in once Legion hits (as well as choosing what class to boost)

Thanks for helping run this website, I've used this site to learn the basics of every WoW class I've ever played and continually use it for information that I may forget. I hope this website stays around for a very long time and stays as quality as it is! I can't wait to try out Legion and I am most looking forward to the new Rogue overhauls.

well almost everything in Legion. I've been keeping up to date with all the news about it and I'm so glad that Legion might get me back into my true passion in this game, pvp. I started playing WoW in BC but really spent all of it leveling, it wasn't until Wrath that I actually got into the game in all aspects. I raided, did arenas, did bgs, leveled alts, etc. But what I enjoyed most was pvping in arenas. My friend and I were a two man team, I was an unholy death knight and he was an arms warrior. It wasn't the greatest idea I admit but we had a lot of fun and I won't ever forget those times. I'm really excited for the prestige system most of all, I can't wait for it.

Looking forward to having 2 customizable pets as a beast mastery hunter in Legion. The emphasis on class/spec uniqueness has me more excited for this expansion then any since wrath.

I really want to try out Demon Hunters, they look awesome. Artifact quest lines look amazing, can't wait to spoil myself with all the lore. I'm so hyped for everything about Legion . I can't wait and I'll also be able to put some videos on YouTube and show all my friends. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win a beta key.

Strangely enough I'm super excited to be able to easily solo Mop Raids and such for all those pets I don't want to drop gold on, I'm also excited to see all the new pets that come out with Legion because I'm very into collecting them. I'm also pretty interested in the storylines and the dungeons, from what I've seen, look pretty awesome!

I'm really excited to get the guild back together and play with them again!

Content wise, I'm really excited to see if/how an old god (N'zoth) plays a role.

Lastly, mechanics wise, I'm excited to see how Windwalker Monks are changed, how their new talents work, and if they got any updated spell animations.

Its gonna be amazing to play this new expansion considering how bad warlords was. Iam getting abit tired just doing my garrison missions everyday! I really love the "diablo" aspects that gets added in legion. HYPE!

I am really looking forward to the artifact system. I have high hopes that it causes me to enjoy playing with alts more. The new weapons look really great and it is exciting to see how to get different looks.Even though I enjoyed raiding in the past I hope there is more non-raiding content in legion. I am still hoping that they will change the healer animations, they have been a bit boring in the past and the new melee animations are great.Overall there are so many thing that improve quality of life in Legion, from wardrobe to a better minimap. Wows complex world has been the best part for me in the past and the holy trinity. So many MMOs come out without the holy trinity and my inner healer is really sad about that

I am really looking forward to the new added artifact system and also the PvP levelling system, i have only just gotten back into WoW after 9 years and i am really liking Draenor. Looking forward to what you guys have planned in the next expac.

The thing i enjoyed in WoW previously and although it is still current was just teaming up with friends, questing, doing dungeons or raids.

Welp, I'm looking forward in Legion mainly to.. new content. I mean, I've played this game for so long I've almost seen everything is has to offer, and *almost* everything was great. I love the genre itself, WoW lore, my main character (I really LOVE paladins!).

So after a.. kinda disappointing Warlords of Draenor, what I want the most is new content. I just want to test new mechanics, new spells/talents. Quest across the new continent and test everything Blizzard want us to test so I can enjoy it better later at game release with my main character.

There isn't a lot of battle pet coverage just yet, mostly because there isn't a lot for it in alpha yet. But if I win I intend to see and do everything pet battle related.

I'm looking forward to the Holy Paladin changes in Legion. I've been raiding since Wrath of the Lich King, and my best memories are when my guild first started raiding and we went into Nax (wrath) and downed it as guild. The feeling of accomplishing something as a team had me hooked for raiding for the rest of my time in WoW

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
