Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I am really excited for the Frost Death Knight Artifact - because we remember Frostmourne since we are playing Warcraft 3.

I started playing World of Warcraft when I was 10 years old, and at that age it was very hard to understand all that was happening. My favourite memories of World of Warcraft have always been doing something for the first time like dungeons or joining a guild. I can't wait to enjoy all the new content in Legion!

I really like the way Blizzard is going with this expansion, making pvp 'viable' again through the pvp talent system, looks really great to me. Let me see Illidan once again.. and kill fking gul'dan with my ashbringer <3

I've been playing since just after BC started. I used to raid seriously, but now enjoy being a casual player. I'm really looking forward to new questing in Legion and, of course, my shaman's shiny new artifact weapon

I'm extremely excited for Legion because I feel like the artifact system is a throwback to the pre cataclysm talent system which I sorely miss. I'm a little worried about more ability pruning but I have faith that Blizzard can do a good job by taking our feedback into consideration. Really excited for Legion and I hope to get into the beta to help provide meaningful feedback especially about raids and class design.

So hyped about becoming the Hero in this epic adventure, been playing this game for well over a decade and from being just another adventurer to becoming the Hero of this story is just jaw dropping. i cant wait to get my hands on some of these epic changes. Plus Demon Hunter ive been wanting to be a Demon Hunter since warcraft 3 and seeing Illidan in action.

Soon it could be a reality!

p.s To be the next demon hunter to be standing over Guldan's corpse with his skull in hand.... Epic much.

As ive played guardian druid throughout the whole of wod im really looking forward to the changes by making us become meat shields. makes more sense we simply take hits to the face instead of dodging as we have so much padding to survive the blow However also means im not looking forward to the fight against ursoc as hes my mentor. And ofc cant wait to finally get a different bear skin to show off My favourite moment was during lich king when a couple of my friends got me into my first vault of archavon 25 by convincing the leader they could make up my slack, as i was newly max leveled, and both tier pieces that dropped were mage and i was the only one in the entire group. Everyone hated me (even my friends) and i found it super funny

I'm looking forward to experiencing class changes, especially my main (frost mage), and checking out the artifact weapons (I've made several alts just for their future class halls/artifacts).

And how could I forget Demon Hunters??

I'm really excited for the class changes coming with legion. I've been waiting for Demonology to be a spec about summoning demons since I started playing Warlock in WotLK.I love the idea of artifact weapons, and I'd love to see what blizzard could do with this in the future. Blizzard had a lot of good ideas with WoD, but they were poorly done. From what I've seen it looks like they polished those ideas and made them work in legion.Artifacts, Class changes, talent tree changes, PvE content and the lore of WoW Legion got me hyped. And I'm more than ready to head in and test my butt off

I'm really exited about the new demon hunter class, and the artifact weapons seems like a nice way of adding some new progression to the game.

There are many thinks I like about legion come on COME ON FINALYYY DEMON HUNTARDS my favorite classes in the wow universe i don't even care if they are week im all about that life. Artifact weapons are a great idea just hopefully it doesn't come back to bite us in the ass but I have hope blizzard will deliver. The new pvp system is amazing cant wait to do prestiging. And wow is gonna feel like a new game which is great for me I have been playing since release and its nice to feel like I'm playing a new wow. One more thing about legion Illidan by far my favorite lore character its nice to see him return.

As in my favorite guild moment was when we finally downed heroic sindy 10m in my guild when i solo healed it on my resto druid dear god the stress but when that bitch went down it was the greatest feeling in the world.

Favorite wow moment pvping in hellfire penn on my DK in a huge ass battle and people talked about how much of a beast i was in the wow forums was nice to see also gave me a huge as head lol but it was good times...

I'm both excited and worried for Legion. First, theres a lot of things im excited for, the artifact weapons, the new zones (they look beautiful), and the changes to my class and specs. Im just worried that the changes for all the classes (including my own, which is a rogue) are going to be too much and some players might feel that the class and spec they once played isnt theirs anymore. I'm just hoping legion does this expansion right, and im also really sad to see only 4 leveling zones to choose from. Back in wrath we had 8 and leveling alts wasn't that bad because there was a new zone you probably hadn't been to yet. Also they said that the Island Thal'Dranath is going to be added into a later patch and we kinda saw that happen very recently *cough* Farahlon *cough*.

I'm really looking forward to try the new PvP Honor system in Legion. I think it has great potential. And as for my most enjoyable moment in WoW, its the moment we first killed Gruul back in TBC with my old and favorite guild. It used to be sooooo fun raiding with this group of people and the content back then looked so amazing.

I'm looking forward to the new redesigned CMs. Small group content, especially that that won't be completed in a week or two, has a good chance of revitalizing the game

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
