Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

The story; yes the story of how the Horde and the Alliance join together to push back the Burning Legion will be exciting enough.  Add in a new set of areas to explore and wonder at, Class Halls that are sure to astound, and a new heroic class.  Legion will be exciting indeed. have been pl I have been playing since Wrath and have totally enjoyed the storyline where my characters are important heroes in Azeroth.  I have had many fond memories from many, many adventures but I would have to say my favorite was seeing Thunder Bluff for the first time.  The sky was hazy and the lines or the buildings not quite clear until I got closer and then the full glory of that city was shown.  I must have spent several hours exploring and visiting with the NPC's.  And while my main character is often out adventuring in foreign lands, I still come back often to Mulgore and Thunder Bluff where my journey in Azeroth first started.I am looking forward to experiencing this new chapter in the epic World of Warcraft and my Tauren Druid, Twobears, is ready as well.  Bring forth the Legion.we are ready.

I'm really excited for Legion to redeem the game in the eyes of the players. I stopped playing a fair amount in WoD, but I've been longing to come back to WoW and really embrace and enjoy it. I hope it will offer enough to get the veteran players to come back and enjoy themselves as well.

I stepped away from Warcraft for the last 9 months or so, trying different MMORPG, like Final Fantasy Realm Reborn xxiv, star wars the old republic and elder scrolls.  I miss my Warcraft so I will be coming back.  Warcraft is the gold standard for all online gaming, so i found myself comparing and yearning to play wow again.  Your class guides have always been a life saver to my warcraft gaming.  At least after reading them I don't come off like the total noob.  The Raid guides have been so helpful i look forward to learning and reading more of them once more. I am looking forward to seeing if the new class necromancer I believe is what it is called. can win over my heart and i put my priest on the back burner. Thanks again for all the hard work, keep the standards high

There are a ton of new additions to the Legion Xpac.  The artifact weapons are great to actually involve us in empowering our current weapon.  And as I am a melee DPS player (10 alts to prove it lol) I can't wait to check out Demon Hunter.  The playstyle and opening zone for DH just seems like a great and new way to introduce a second Hero class.  Best part of WoW right now?  Raiding.  Everything else has sort of worn itself out as xpacs do towards the upcoming 'bigger better thing'. Thanks for putting up this giveaway, I already recommend IcyVeins as the go-to site for class/spec info, and the raid guides are very thorough

I am most looking forward to play the reworked Demonology, and hopefully see it be viable again in progression raiding. I will also enjoy being able to freely switch between all three specs of my class, rather than be forced to exclude one. An enjoyable WOW memory (not sure if I have a definite favorite) I can easily remember would be leveling my first character, a balance druid, back during MoP. It was before I had discovered how much more efficient the dungeon finder was for leveling, and I actually did the old content quests. The whole world felt so big and unknown back then, and I enjoyed being a part of it

I am looking forward to so much. The mounts, the new NPC designs, lore, and of course trying out Demon Hunters. I've tried all aspects of WoW but mount collecting with casual play (plus exalting all the reputations. I seriously can't wait to see all the new mounts and always hoping the unicorn creatures will be mounts.

I'm looking forward to Legion, the changes so far seem great, can't wait for the artifact weapons .My main character is a warlock, so seeing him wielding the scythe artifact weapon is gonna be awesome. Although, not so happy about taking metamorphosis from demonology spec, but still curious about how demonology will be played

I'm pretty stoked for Legion because I think everything they're brining will definitely be an improvement on the game. Currently we are in a state of almost testing - blizz tried new things and most of them all failed. Now I think Blizz is going back to their roots and using those original core ideas to create these awesome new features. Only thing that is skeptical for me is legendaries. I dont like how they are in legion and I wish they will be changed back to how we saw them in vanilla/TBC.

Warlords was great for the first month, but really did not having any staying power. I like that they are looking to revamp some of the open world and smaller group content as I think that will help increase the longevity of the content. I think I am most excited for the focus on class fantasy for Legion. I am someone who has always bounced between numerous alts but has always longed for having a single main. I hope that this focus on class fantasy will help me find that class that really fits me so that I can enjoy it for the entirety of legion.

The one thing I'm looking forward to most out of everything coming out of Legion is the new Protection Paladin, which I intend on learning everything about, as it is my main. I'm also looking forward all of the other tanking classes to see if I find one more fun this time around and want to swap mains. I'm also a mog-aholic and I'm really, really looking forward to the new wardrobe system. Lots of cool stuff ahead if you asked me

I'm really excited to see how Legion ends up. In WoD I've been improving myself a lot, which means I'm looking to get into higher and higher levels of raiding, so I'm looking forward to what Legion will bring (beside a boss where we get to eat cake. My history in WoW is a short one, only starting at the end of Cataclysm, and only actually investing time into improving myself so that I could get somewhere with raiding in WoD, with a lot of bad guild-luck (4 disbands, 1 guild 'on break until Legion'.), but I still love the game and I hope Legion will be the expansion where I get to be in a more stable environment

So to me, i can't wait to test the new mage abilites and see his artifact (which is so cool . The wardrobe system and new defi upcoming. My best memories was in my guild before we're separate, we knew each other 3-4 years and we organize IRL birthday together, that was so cool. Now we still be friends but not everyone is playing. But to me, the most important memories was raiding and laughing together in raid when MoP was the expansion. We had a really great times and we miss them sometimes.

I started playing in 2007 and am currently on break from WoW. I love the game, just waiting for Legion. I've met a lot of awesome people playing the game, that's one of the main reasons I keep coming back

I am actually excited about leveling in the new zones, experiencing the new dungeons and the artifact/relic system looks like so much fun to play around with. Of course top level content raiding will be great. I am a bit scared that Fortitude is gone. Power Word Radiance and Contrition looks like fun. I am hoping SPriests are looked after a little better so I don't have to Disc/Holy. I have already pre-ordered Legion when it was first announced and am saving my 110 boost for a Demon Hunter, perhaps

I am very much looking forward to the artifacts.  Also,  the dungeons I have seen from the streamers are some of the best I have seen in awhile.

Thanks a lot for putting this on and congrats on 5 years!  This site has been so helpful to me and many others.

I'm super excited to see all the raid mechanics in the latest raids in Legion. Seem to be some of the best yet, very creative. Also basically 90% of classes/specs been revamped should be so good. Gimme that soothing mist on the move.

I used to play back in Burning Crusade and I loved every minute of it. I was pretty young so I don't remember everything I did. I came back at the beginning of wod and I would have to say that my fondest moment would have to be when I joined Sparty's stream guild Zeroes to Heroes. This has been a great time for me while playing wow and I am super stoked for Legion Holy Pally. Looking forward to smashing the new raids and some pvp action

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
