Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm definitely looking forward to some storylines being continued like with Alleria and Turalyon, Wrathion, and hopefully something about Neptulon. Some of my fondest memories come from Wrath's Naxxramas. It's the first time I ever got to be main tank in a progression group

I've been playing WoW off and on since Vanilla and I'm pumped for Legion. I love the lore, it's been my main draw in the Warcraft Universe since Warcraft Orcs and Humans. I'm looking forward to seeing the Burning Legion coming back and how that will affect Azeroth. I've also read and own every Warcraft book so I look forward to seeing more of the lore connect. I don't have one specific memory of WoW that's a favorite but just the friends I've made who I still talk to, and getting to play with my siblings who live in other states still lets up keep close and get to enjoy a fantasy world we all love together.

i pretty much feel like Legion will do so many good things from what i have seen. The artifacts all look amazing, the dungeons look diverse especially with mechanics. i hope that legion does not suffer the same fate as WoD but i would still play it if it did

As someone who has always been very competitive as far as end game raiding goes, it will be interesting to see how raiding evolves in Legion.I'm also looking forward to melee hunters once again. This is particularly close to home because I currently play a marks hunter, though I've always enjoyed all aspects about the class

For me, personally, there is a lot of reason to be excited about.I think artifacts are such a wonderful addition because it doesn't really feel like a weapon, it feels like an extension of your character itself. The fact that they have such icon looks and customization, makes them even cooler.I also look forward to exploring the world in general, Suramar city will look amazing, I really can't wait to see it for myself and discover this amazing night elven city, even though I'm horde, hurray we are finally getting some night elve love, they've been neglected for so long.Other than that, both the PvE and PvP changes look good, they finally listened to everyone, they are really trying to make both aspects competitive again and providing depth and content in both areas without neglecting the other

It is bringing back the glory days of WoW, with hard dungeons, legiondaries, artifact weapons, class halls. I see so much content in Legion and i see it is really bringing back the glory days of wow. I know this has been discussed to death but I do feel that fast leveling is bad for wow, I really hope blizzard slows down leveling for Legion and gives us more reasons to level alts, but I am getting excited. I hope to test legion and make it great, I am a old school WoW players and I am very excited.

To be honest, one of the things I'm looking forward to is the increased view distance and generally the UI improvements! (Especially the higher resolution combat text) I am also looking forward to the artifacts!

Honestly im really exited about the talked about "Diablo like" system for challenge modes and world content (ala adventure mode). I love wow and the idea of tons of new and repeatable content that's actually fun is very exiting.

I am most looking forward to the new PvP system. I think making it less gear-dependent is a great idea and I look forward to the PvP talent choices.

As for my best memory, I was lucky enough to meet my boyfriend playing WoW and we've been dating for over a year now. :)

I am most looking forward to the upcoming changes to Hunters. It's kinda amazing how different each spec will be, and I'm hopeful this will be a template for some future options on other classes. Joining my current (and second overall.) raid team in the middle of Firelands was my best moment of WoW past. I had filled in every now and then when someone was sick or couldn't make it due to work or other RL stuff. And when someone bowed out indefinitely they asked me to officially join the team. It was so great and I'm still loving all (well most ) of our raid nights

I'm really looking forward to playing the new Demon Hunter class! It looks fun to play and the warglaives look great! I miss the feeling of the world around me looking so large and powerful, so hopefully legion brings a very atmospheric and fun feel back to the game!

I'm looking forward to all the new animations for pre-existing abilities, they all look quite amazing I feel blizzard did a brilliant job. I just hope that more abilities are added into the game because I feel quite pruned compared to other expansions and miss some of the iconic abilities from classes.

Having mained a shadow priest since burning crusade, I'm very excited to play with the new insanity resource. Never been much of a fan of the shadow orbs! With all of the new slick animations, I'm also hoping that mindflay can go back to melting some faces.

I started playing WoW in late BC.  I did not get a toon to 70 until July before Wrath launched. It wasn't until Wrath that I actually got into all aspects of the game. I raided, leveled alts, did some pvp, etc. My fondest memory in WoW was also in Wrath.  It was when my Raid team choose me to get the 1st Shadowmourne.  That was such a fun questline.   I am looking forward to the Artifact Weapons in Legion the most.  Seems like they are putting together a nice system there, and I cannot wait to take up the honor of wielding the Ashbringer.  Bring on the Burning Legion.

Looking forward to the new dungeons as raiding is my favorite thing to do in the game. I really like how the BOA's are now automatically in our possession. No need to figure out which toon has the gear

I'm looking forward to the Artifacts, the awesome looking new zones, and all the class changes. Brewmaster monks look amazing so far, but I'm afraid of what they may turn into

A bit cautiously so, but still hyped. WoD was definitely not the, uh. greatest expansion, but so far, Legion is looking to be quite a lot better. I'm excited for pretty much everything the expansion has to offer at the moment; the lore and art and story, artifact weapons, class halls, the class changes/new animations, new PVP system, the raids and dungeons, and the wardrobe (naturally, my poor Void Storage weeps). While I remain cautious of changes as the game's still in alpha/beta, I'm optimistic about Legion.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
