Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I have to say I am most excited about the class changes coming with Legion. It will make it new and fresh. And I would have to say one of my was the first time my guild and I downed Heroic Deathwing while it was current content. It was such a blast and we were all SO excited.

Looking forward to a lot of things but the big ones are definately the fleshing out the gathering and crafting professions that we haven't really seen since TBC.  I loved Crafting back in the Vanilla/BC days and hope that that feeling in some shape returns.

Also looking forward to the dressing room addition for 2 reasons.

1. Having an easy way to switch between saved mogs.

2. Having my Bank go back to being a Bank and not a Closet for old gear.

After those two big things everything else comes after I enjoy all content and have dabbled in everything over the years and expansions.

I am really looking forward to the new feral/guardian colors that change with your artifact. The other thing that has me hyped is the new mounts spider, drakes, and the fox all look awesome

lets see, artifacts are shaping up to be really cool visually, i love the fact that they are impletinign new weapon models like flails.Challenge mode i think is the most interesting to be seen so far, especially if they will be a good alternative to raiding. Will be really cool seeing parties trying impossibile thigns to reach that keystone XX level or whatever will be called. Also looking forward to play tank in pvp, always wanted to play one in a viable way.

I'm really looking forward to the artifact weapons and changes to specs. They all seem really interesting and it will definitely get me playing alts again. May even try to get into PvP with the new honor system. Also want to try out Demon Hunters. To be honest, I think I'm pretty much excited for everything in Legion

In Legion I am really excited for everything except for abilities being pruned. I can't wait to try out demon hunters as well as actually have content (hopefully).

There's a long list of stuff I'm excited for come Legion:

Quad/Tri-spec (whatever cost becomes associated with swapping); I've been a Druid since day 1, and have been tempted to try Balance, but without having a third spec option, it becomes complicated.

New lore!

Cat & Bear artifact forms!

The artifact system as a whole, once we find out just how difficult it is to get a second (or third, or fourth) artifact, and the leveling of them all :D I'm OK with no new talents past 100 given the Artifact system.

The level-sync style leveling along with the "choose-your-own-adventure" style of zone picking.

Secondarily, the stuff likely available come the pre-patch, like:

The Wardrobe! So much space to be saved :D

Demon Hunters! (at least for the pre-order people, I'm assuming)

Pirate Rogues! Insane Shadow Priests!

I'm really looking forward to the progression of the game as well as the Demon Hunter. I'm a big fan of the lore of the game; so it's more storyline and that I really enjoy.

Really looking forwards to seeing Illidan's story arc come to a proper end, giving him what he deserves.

Fondest memories? Raiding ICC with my school friends after we split off from our old guild.

What I am looking forward to is the new talents and PvP. As a moment of WoW, it was good to kill stuff in Gurubashi Arena

I'm really excited to explore the new world in legion. The artifact system also seems very interesting.

My fondest WOW memory was killing the lich king for the first time. The whole lead up to being able to finally kill him in Wotlk was such a fun experience, and it was very rewarding when we finally downed him.

One of the main things i'm looking forward to is learning more about the lore, especially from Illidan. I came from hearthstone, and have been relatively late on the scene to play WoW, so I never experienced the great moments. However one thing I have learned from playing this game, is that the lore never ceases to amaze me for how well written it is. All of the new raids, and items im sure will be excellently done, but getting more background for one of my favorite WoW characters? I don't think anything can beat that. All in all, this expansion is going to be awesome, and I can't wait to be a part of it.

Really looking forward to how the classes will be updated and how the artifact weapon will be a big part of the expansion. Wotlk will always live on in my heart

I'm most looking forward to artifact weapons, the disc one in specific, raids and the new transmog system. I'm huge on transmog so this new system is a big thing for me. My fondest memory would have to be of WoTLK as a whole. It was by far my most favorite expac. I remember doing dailies in Zul'drak every day to get enough gold so I could buy The Battered Hilt on my rogue, which I got for around 10k I believe. The Wrathgate cinematic was amazing and I loved taking part in The Battle for Undercity. I'm hoping Legion really reignites my willingness to playing WoW. As it stands with WoD, I can't be on too much otherwise I tend to get bored quickly

What am I most excited for? Probably the artifact weapons and overall just loads of new content. I can't wait to level all of my alts to 110 and do most, if not all of the artifact scenarios to see how they all play out. The new dungeons look AMAZING and I'm really digging the keystone idea for Challenge Modes, and don't even get me started on the raids. I'm super hyped for everything in legion so far, I might even start PvPing consistently now with the changes

There's quite a bit that I am looking forward to in Legion, from the new spell animations, spell sound effects, going back to Dalaran, Demon Hunters, the return of ILLIDANK, Artifacts, pretty much everything looks really exciting. My favorite part of WoW was running around Shattrath and Dalaran to awe everyone's gear from both factions and starting mount parades around those citys. During those times it felt like a true world and there was other people besides me and my Garrison.

I've mained a feral druid since 2006 when I first started playing Wow. I have fond memories of learning the game, getting my bear form at level 10 and cat form was really exciting for me at level 20. Legion is bringing me new cat forms through the artifact, and I can't wait to relive a bit of that excitement I felt when I first started playing as I begin acquiring them. I love playing my druid, especially in new and open world content and that is what I'm looking forward to the most.

Some of my fondest memories in WoW were as a fire mage in Cataclysm. What I'm looking forward to in Legion is both the fire mage spec changes and the artifact weapon Felo'melorn. I've always loved having a fire sword to go with my fire mage. This is definitely the coolest fire sword, with the most insane backstory. I can't wait to see where it takes me

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
