Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Been playing since wotlk but this is the first expansion I raided, thanks to icyveins I learned so much that I got from normal highmaul to 13/13 mythic as one of the highest ranking people on frostmane. Can't wait to play the changed specs and try to get as high as possible in the challenge dungeons with my friends

I'm really looking forward to all of the changes to the classes. Revamps have always been an exciting time to me. I'm most looking forward to seeing the new specs for hunters and rogues.

I'm definitely looking forward to the new raids, my guild formed late into WoD and are planning to try and get stuck into raiding properly in Legion. my favourite moments in wow aren't exactly tied to a specific expansion but instead are more to do with guilds i've been in, we've done some great stuff together like playing hide and seek around teldrassil at 4am or killing cairne bloodhoof while everyone is dressed as gamon.

i'm really excited for the new challenge mode system for dungeons. If done well, we might see a great way to push players to get the most out of their characters. I also hope that the higher levels of these challenges will make people talk and communicate to get them done. Should be a great addition to the game.

I am looking forward to Demon Hunters the most out of everything, I have been waiting for them since vanilla. My favorite time in wow was in vanilla with world pvp and the community coming together to fight the horde.

I'm most interested in seeing how Legion's class fantasy manifests itself for each of my characters.  I've read a lot about what other people think, but I'd like to be able to form my own opinion based on actual play. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to win a chance to do just that

WoW is struggling right now and hopefully Legion can breathe new life into it.

The addition of a new class will always bring back those who are curious, but there needs to be content that is moving enough for players to want to continue to log on and play to keep the game healthy and flourishing.

I am most looking forward to Artifacts and the progression, especially how it works with offspecs and alts. Making the acquisition easier on alts, but also involved enough to feel rewarding is a balance that Blizzard still has issues attaining, and hopefully they can learn from the feedback from the Legendary Ring quest and improve the system. The best way to keep people invested is to make the repeat task less daunting.

I am extremely excited for Legion, because of multiple reasons.I am looking forward to seeing how Survival Hunters play out, how Demonology Warlocks pan out (my 2nd baby), wielding the Ashbringer (my 1st baby), and also the new PvP system. Of course, there is the lore as well. The artifact stories should be great. My fondest moment from WoW was back in Vanilla, during either beta, or shortly after release. When you would loot and be stuck kneeling for 10-20 minutes at a time. I was playing an Orc and bunch of us players were doing "Knee Racing" from the starting area to Razor Hill. If we finally stood up, you would kill a boar, just to loot and get stuck again. It is the moment I fell in love with a MMO community

I've loved WoW since I joined late Wrath, I'm excited to get back into WoW with legion and think the opportunity to play a bit of Demon Hunter may convince me it's time to level a new alt! I can't wait to try out the new skills and abilities for warlocks!

I'm really excited about the new transmog system. I need to read up more about how it is going to work. I'm also interested in the class halls. I like my garrison, but I miss running into people in communal gathering places like the Shrine in Pandaria. And I'm definitely interested in the lore. I need to figure out which books to read to enrich the gaming experience

I'm most looking forward to all of the class changes and the addition of demon hunters, which I might start to main.My fondest memory would be finally killing Heroic Siegecrafter Blackfuse on 10 man after around 500 wipes on the final night we were going to be attempting it before switching to doing reclears to trial new raiders for Warlords

The whole emerald dream/nightmare aspect is just awesome and it's something ive always loved.

I can't wait to play the game and im just super hyped for it.!

I am Definitely looking forward to the mage changes in Legion. In particular the changes to Fire mages combustion look so good (and the visual effect is amazing) and getting to fling 8 pyroblasts in a row is so sick. The class fantasy that they are prioritising this time round with spec changes as well as the multiple legendaries that will be available will definitely make legion an exciting expansion.

I am absolutely stoked to play as the new survival hunter spec. Back in vanilla I loved the idea of using melee weapons and fighting beside my pet. Thankfully, now it will be fully supported. The biggest hurdle is going to be not getting sidetracked by leveling every other awesome spec that's coming.

I am looking forward to all the new Druid forms. New pets, mounts and outfits.I can't wait for Legion to come out. Being disabled, Warcraft is a big part of my life. I met my fiance on here. This is more than a game to me. This is a way of life. For the Alliance.

I'm super excited for the changes coming to the Rogue class, I cant wait to try Assassination with new energy & bleed mechanics, a totally re-worked Sub and new Outlaw spec. This really is like a field day for long time Rogues.

One of my fav times playing WOW was the first time defeating The Litch king, Still have the screen shots of my friends and I posing it up on top of ICC there, good times.

I'm most looking forward to the class changes making them more diverse and unique. I miss the race-specific priest spells. Those were some of the most fun things in the game

I have always loved raiding and it has always been the thing i get most excited for. Specially when there is a new expansion since there are so many things that changes, everything from class gameplay to new boss mechanics. Legion from what i've seen so far seems to take it to the next level. In the past I only enjoyed the "single-player" aspect of the game, questing and exploring the world etc. But when i joined a guild and started to raid and bash my head against bosses with my guild mates and the satisfaction when you finally kill that raid boss you have been trying to kill for so long. These are some of my best memories that i have from WoW

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
