Recommended Posts

I can't wait for the artifact weapons, I think they look insanely cool and can't wait to fit my main and alts out with their own artifacts!

Can't wait to finally realize my full potential as a big meatshield of a bear.  The new changes to this class' play style, presence and role as a tank, makes everything fall into place lore wise that I always wanted.

Hands down my favourite and most memorable moment from my time playing WoW is the first time I hit level cap in BC and the feeling of accomplishment it gave me. I still play that hunter to this day, and i'm pretty sure it will always be my main.

The feature I'm looking forward to the most is the challenge mode changes, as well as maybe making a new demon hunter alt. Double jump ftw.

I guess everything about Legion looks pretty damn awesome. Raiding will be cool, in fact of finally killing Guldan and some big dude of the Burning Legion. PvP will be great because of the new honor-prestige system and the new PvP talents. Questing will be balanced because of the scaling quest areas..

Please Blizzard take your time and give us players the WoW Addon we deserve!

I am looking forward to the changes in Protection Paladins and Demonology Warlocks, the artifact weapons and class halls ^^

I am playing the game on a every day basis and been playing WoW for 11 years. Though I just got back from a long break and have not been raiding since HfC. Never gotten a beta to any game at all from Blizzard but I had to try :)

I am excited, I used to play non stop in college, I remember running around Silithus in Vanilla as a 60 lock (loved that lock!) and there was a 56 mage ahead of me, all of the sudden a Tauren warrior with the Hand of Rag charged the mage!  I dismounted and destroyed that warrior faster than I knew possible, I guess all those 5 hour long AV battles at the bridge really hardened me at PvP haha.

Now I don't get to play as much, I'm married and have kids, I didn't understand some of the changes that were made over the expansions at first, but now I do, I don't have much time to play anymore and the changes make everything faster and easier.  Yes I remember, strangely fondly, Ironforge chat looking for people for UBRS and BRD.

I don't get to experience endgame anymore with the expansions, but I still enjoy this game so much, I still get max level characters and have a lot of fun, I enjoy raiding old instances and transmogrifing my gear.  I think this expansion will be really good and I am really looking forward to the new class!! I even pre-prdered!  First time I did that, I guess having a gift card that my wife can't track makes that easier, I guess that's life ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Very excited for the artifact weapon system and to check out the new paladin gameplay, especially the updates to Holy's healing style.

Not excited about possibly having to PvP in order to earn the weapon looks I might prefer.

I'm looking forward the the boomkin makeover especially.

Besides that, new raids and figuring out how to make all the new stuff work well, new dungeons and gearing up, new challenge modes and doing them with old and new friends :).

Keen to see how the artifact weapons will be.

I'm very much looking forward to playing a Retribution Paladin, I guess a big part of it is the new amazing animations and the artifact weapon Ashbringer. Oh, I'm also very much looking forward for the transmog wardrobe. I guess you could say I'm mostly looking forward to looking pretty in-game.  biggrin.png

Oh and the PvP prestige system seems pretty rad too, actually.

I am incredibly excited to actually be participating in one of my first actual expansion releases seeing as i just recently started playing in January. I can definitely see why people get hyped, especially for the Demon Hunter which seems really fun to play as. Also the fact Ret Pallies get to wield the Ashbringer is another reason I am excited.

I'd like to participarte in the Legion Beta because I've watched a lot of Videos and from what I've

seen so far it's very interesting, especially the Balance druid (my current mian character), which

I'd like to keep playing in Legion.

I really like the new Astral Power mechanic and that you can finally chose from a variety of talents.

Getting an iconic artifact weapon, unique for each spec, that you have to level up to get new abilities

and traits is something I'm, really looking forward to.

Additionally, I'd like to play the Beta with my guild mates.

When the Alpha invites came, they already killed Archimonde on mythic mode and for some personal

reasons I had no time to Progress the final boss with them .

It would be great if you gave me the opportuunity to prepare myself for Legion together with my

guild mates and friends

Hey there--

I'm most excited about...GNOME HUNTERS.  First off, I have mapped out my marksmanship hunter's artifact wep, talent tree, and PvP tree so many separate times as the updates roll in.  But let me get back to the reason I burst out GNOME HUNTERS.

I started playing in vanilla waaaay back in the day.  I've come and gone from WoW for different reasons over the years.  But one time I came back because Goblins were created and I was able to be a goblin hunter.  I love the concept of being a tiny little ranged dude running and kiting people.  My brother and friends convinced me, "Well a Goblin hunter is close to a gnome hunter."  And so I came back and had a lot of fun.  I was already planning on playing Legion (I have it preordered already) but the Gnome Hunter was a sign if I've ever seen one.  I am playing a hunter now and a little while back I was torn between playing what I loved (Hunter) and playing what my brother(druid) and friend(warrior) wanted me to play (Enh shaman) for PvP composition purposes.  LITERALLY, the next day....they announced that Gnome hunters were coming in Legion.  I haven't looked back yet!  And I am beyond excited for Legion and GNOME HUNTARSSS!

Thanks again for hosting the giveaway.

Cheers,

Bobby (Ainge)

I'm looking forward to pretty much everything in Legion. The artifact system being reminiscent of the old talent trees and having built in customization is great. I'm also very excited to PvP with the new class/spec balancing and leveling system.

I'm excited to starting the next expansion with my guild. We've had a bit of a drop off due to lack of new content and can't wait to be raiding with everyone again!

I'm just really looking foreward to play a demon hunter and espacially experience the lore behind them. Illidan was always just an awesome character and I hope he will play an important role in Legion! Besides I can't wait for the new Raid Bosses to come. Maybe even Kiljeaden will make his retrun after we deafeted Archimonde already 2 times? The hype already got me :)

Cheers

My desire to enter the beta is to provide as much useful, focussed feedback as possible to ensure that Legion is great. Raiding, PVPing and theorycrafting since Vanilla, I feel that I have the context and perspective to provide effective, constructive feedback to Blizzard.

I've been a fan of Warcraft since WC2. Warcraft III blew me away with the lore it added and ever since I've dreamed of taking the fight directly to the Burning Legion and Sargeras. With the release of Warcraft Chronicle Vol 1 that passion only ignited further.

I can't wait to experience the game and spend the next 18 months fighting the demonic hordes with my friends.

"Ey Grats mon" on your 5th Ding day!

What do i look forward to? hm, the classquests (will be nice with some more class specific lore and questlines), the new transmog system (currently have 5 empty inventory slots on my main >.< damn you transmog and your allure), new adventures and fun times with my friends. What i liked before and i hope continues is the very nice leveling experience we had in WoD it made leveling a fun adventure and not just a tedious grind to get to max level.

Hey there Icy-veins team.
i'd like to thank you all for being a huge part of the wow community, especially the raiding scene. I often find myself linking friends and guildies guides for their classes that help improve their character and the impact overall that make us have a more exiciting experience in WoW.

First off, I'll probably say that i'm really looking forward to class specific quests that are involved with the legendary artifacts. I think its amazing that we get a small role in the world and we prove have proved to ourselves up to this point in the lore that we are finally able to take matters into our own hands and become more incharge like we've seen in warlords with our own garrison and followers that have helped us against the blackrock army. Legion should be really exiciting to know that we have a chance of ridding a deep dark evil that has plagued us since the war of the ancients.

As for the most memorable thing about that game well, I've been playing since BC so ive got quiet a few. I guess I'll take it back to wotlk with the ulduar patch. I was really into the game and there was soo much to do, ulduar bosses were soo unique like nothing you had seen in bc or vanilla like with siege engines and the knowledge that an old is an encounter and the fights even had more challenging difficulty such as mimirons button or XT's heart. my alts got geared up in dungeons with the lfg tool which was still roughly new at the time and I enjoyed meeting new people in dalaran. Overall I had an amazing time with alot of friends and was impressed with the quality and content that blizzard had concieved for us, we were walking towards the goal of the lichking and everything from felt like a good leadup to lichking even with the tournament and the tournament dailies getting us prepared was for the lich king which the raid fights and the fight itself was challenging and amazing. Ive never played a game like this that gives me thrills chills and an insane amount of fun again!

I am looking forward to the new quests and story line as well as changes to the honor system in Legion! My fondest memory of Vanilla was 48 hour AV matches and also Shadowfrost spec DK at the beginning of Wrath!

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
