Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Looking forward to trying all the rogue specs, Legion looks to try to make each spec feel different and themed. Although I hope they don't go overboard with the ability pruning, I like the complexity of Sub, the gameplay feels enjoyable and rewarding for its challenging rotation.

In 2008 when I started playing I had a very bad internet and it took me one month and two weeks to download the game, but worth every second, since then is the game that I like most.

For the Legion I'm excited about the class changes and also with the new PvP talents, another thing that pleases me very much is the lore of the game seems amazing

Ill keep this to he warlock since that is the class i play.

I Legion im looking forward to the new demonology spec! the artifacts weapons look awsome and the traits looks like fun ideas.

Some things im sceptical to are the destro spec. i feel like some of what i though was fun and such are gone.

Ill RELLY miss the old demo spec, cause this was the spec i fell in love with!

But all in all im looking forward to see the new changes in legion and im relly looking forward!

World of warcraft i think only went downhill when the LFR system was interduced. May have something to do with activision since the warcraft team used too make a lot more before!

My biggest memories in world of warcraft was when i obtained Invinceble. I was in class when it dropped (had done my work so i was not wasteing my time). I got so happy that i screamed out loud in class!

Already playing WoW since the very beginning and I really hope Legion will be as awesome as Burning Crusade & Lich King was years ago.

Demon Hunter seems like a very sophisticated and varied class, can't wait to play one.

Considering that the Legion has such a huge part of the Warcraft story, I've always felt that it was missing the real depth of story that could have been told in World of Warcraft.  I'm really happy they're digging back into it as much as they are now!

From the calculators I've seen around the web, I'm extremely interested in the artifact weapon system...choices CHOICES!!

I've been playing my lock since tbc... it's impossible to not remember my first time leveling that character... blood elf lock.. black hair... it was so amazing. I can still remember the emotion of crossing the dark portal for the first time and find my self on the other side in hellfire peninsula. I'm really stoked thinking about the demon hunter. I'll be honest, maybe it will be an easy and "kid" class as it appears to be in the alpha right now. Although i've been waiting so much time for a tipe of class like that. I never played a new class, never a monk or a dk.. This could be the first time ever! I'm really looking forward to it. Also I hope so much that the artifact thing will be awsome... it seems so. We'll see.

I am most looking forward to the PvP changes.  The gear differentials have made joining pvp behind the curve very painful in the past.  I am hopeful that the normalization of stats will make it easier to balance the classes and roles.

The ability to tri-spec on my Monk is something I have wanted for a while.

One of my favourite memories was created when I was leveling my first character years ago. My newly created undead mage just finished questing in Brill and walking towards the Undercity, I realized: This world is huge! And I had not even seen a thing...

In Legion I am looking forward to explore the new content in the same way as I did all those years ago, but I am also looking forward to playing my mistweaver and seeing all the changes that will happen to it, including artifacts of course.

I'm looking forward to try out reworked classes. Some of this changes seem great, some of them sound weird, but I'm going to play all specializations to see the difference. My first WoW char was Demo Warlock which looks interesting right now. Long-term main - Survival Hunter - is going to be melee. Im really hyped for this tbh. But because of guild change and officer duties, I'm looking forward to changes in healing system. As healing coordinator I need to process these changes and calm down my fellow healers. World without absorbs wont be the same, but could it be better?

The fondest memory is connected with amazing people I met in WoW. After a serious argument with my old guild leaders I took people with same opinions as me and create new guild. Although we play on low realm, we create succesful guild with much better results as the old one and we transfered our relationship from game to the real world with pretty common reunions from two countries.

There are a lot of thing that i'm looking forward for Legion. I have always been tanking since ages (as a dudu, pala prot or blood dk). I'm very excited for the prot pally's changes, in particularly the new spell animation. Also the new guardian dudu's form is quite impressive, but i have some doubt about the change in the aoe rotation (cooldown on trash). I haven't looking into the blood change, and i'm a bit concerned about the death strike using runic power.

I've always disliked pvp in wow, but the new talent sistem is worth to give a try.

Really excited for Demon hunter class in legion!! In addition, i'm really looking forward to trying out all of the new spec updates. I think this will add a lot of replayability to the game.

My most memorable moments in the game are definitely centered around raiding with friends from molten core 10 something years ago to dragon soul to hellfire citidel today. I cant wait to continue the journey!!!

The thing I am looking forward to most in legion is that Illidan is being brought back, hoping he is here to stay, + I get to wield doomhammer on my shaman biggrin.png.

My favourite memory of WoW was in TBC, me and my friend attacked the Crossroads, me a druid and him a rogue, we were only lvl 54 and 55. Got killed by two 70 mages, they started dueling near us, basically corpse camping, one of them lost the duel and my friend threw a throwing knife at the one who lost ultimately killing him. Good times.

I've been playing since vanilla and am still really excited for Legion. I'm most looking forward to the new challenge mode dungeons. I always preferred smaller groups where individual skill mattered more.

My favorite time in WoW was the start of Cataclysm, seeing the landscape change so much and all old content get updated. The heroic 5 mans were at that point the hardest any have ever been and it felt great to get recognition among guilds on my server as someone they wanted in their groups.

I think the biggest thing that I am looking forward to is the artifact system and how it changes game play. As for my favorite wow memory it has to be the late nights spent with my friends playing for hours on end never accomplishing anything just sitting around and messing around

Looking forward to Legion to see where Blizzard takes the ongoing story of WOW. The some of the most fun of any expansion is getting to explore brand new areas and learn of the stories and adventures that have happened or will happen there

I'm really looking forward to all the changes, especially the ones to Warlocks. =D

Had a lot of fun in Hellfire Citadel in the last few weeks too, as my guild has finally started making progress in mythic.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
