Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

As someone who gets the most enjoyment out of gold farming, I'm looking forward to finding new farming spots as well as the new profession overhauls. One of my fondest memories of the game was my first time hitting 100k gold on one character back in early MoP. Another great memory was my first raiding experience in Ulduar. Still one of my favorite raids of all time!

I'm so excited for legion to come out and excited to have a guaranteed chance to play the beta, previously i was not invited to the WoD. If i get into the legion beta, i'm looking forward to new lore introduced in legion, i'm a huge wow lore nerd. I'm looking forward to trying all the classes especially Demon hunters, i currently have max level of all classes in retail, and i tend to play them all here and there. I am also looking forward to questing, some PvP content as well as PvE content, whether it be raids or dungeons.

I'm really looking forward to this expansion it looks so promising, i would test it to it's fullest. Hopefully i will see you all in the beta.

I'm looking forward to the changes to enhancement shaman and possibly leveling every class like I always end up doing because they all seem so cool. Also looking forward to the long overdue wardrobe

I'm sooooo hyped for the lore. I think this is the biggest expansion considering lore possibilities.

And I'm also really looking forward for the rework of the demo warlock, it looks FANTASTIC in the alpha and it seems a spec i'm maining for sure. :D

I'm honestly looking forward to class halls and being around other players again. All my fond memories from the past have been playing with my friends, and I am excited to play with them again. This game is at its best when you're with others.

I'm most excited for the changes to specs/classes in Legion.  I really want to try out Survival hunter, for instance.  Having a rogue as my main, I'm interested to see how Outlaw plays.  As for my favorite WoW memory, it would have to be when me and my little brother were helping our guild kill the whale shark in Vashj'ir.  My little brother was about 8 years old at the time so he wasn't very good at the game.  He kept pulling the whale shark (he was a hunter) and kept wiping the group.  One of our guildmates got really annoyed and said something to him in guild chat.  My brother responded with "You shush".  Yes, an 8 year old told a middle aged man to shush.  It was so funny that no one was even mad at my brother and it actually helped to lighten the mood.

Oh so long I play the unique memories that really miss

are my friends and I, wow did something that not many who can

he created a strong bond of trust and amisade much I like this Legion expansion afian fun is my priority, and everything will be nicer to my friends.

I was very happy to see that big news as the refurbishment of classes, artifact weapon, but at the same time feel the fear of losing exencia these same classes that I like so much.

And I'm afraid it's a good time to say, Shorel'aran Metamorphosis Warlock.

I hope you understand that English is not my first linguem so forgive me for any spelling error.

I am super excited for this expansion. The artifact weapons, the return of Illidan, the jaw dropping beautiful areas and the lore heavy storyline, makes me believe this might be the best expansion ever. I remember, back in wow Classic, fishing for clues of Ashbringer, finally wielding one, will be epic!

I'm really excited for the new leveling system within Legion, where we can FINALLY! have a none linear leveling system for the Broken Isles. I also love the new wardrobe and overall the new animations for the classes. The new dungeons look absolutely fantastic!

I'm really excited for Legion.

Oh man, I'm extremely hyped for Legion. As a raider, I didn't really mind WoD, since the raids were good and that kept me occupied. Blackrock Foundry was one of the best raids ever created, and I've played them all (minus a minor hiatus during the end of cataclysm). I know that Blizzard aren't going to screw up raids, because they are always great, but there are a ton of cool changes coming in general. I love the idea of class halls, and just minor details like having warlocks use enslaved demons as target dummies in their class hall proves that Blizzard are keeping creative. That being said, raids are always going to be the thing I look forward to the most though. :D

My favourite moment has to be when we defeated Illidan Stormrage in TBC. After what seemed an eternity filled with tanks not kiting fire elementals well enough, people not moving out with parasite, a tank not repairing before several pulls - thus having to endure about three million "you are not repaired" jokes, we finally got him. Then we had a warrior quit the guild over the warglaive at a later kill. Good times. We sucked so much compared to now, but still good times.

I am so VERY excited and hyped up for Legion. I hope it will have more world content the Wod as i see they have taken some ideas from D3 and i also hope we will get more dungeons in future patches.Ans here comes the thing i both like and hate:In Legion we dont fight just the demons but the nightmare/old gods ,queen azhara as well. This is on one way nice because we get to fight the villains we have requested for so long but all of them being in one single expansion where the main antagonistic force is the legion (the most evil guys) i think it heralds wow nearing its end. I hope not though :)))

Although I'm more of a PVEer I'll definitaley try PVP some more with the new Honor-System and what I'm interested in is what they'll do with the garrisons.

I'm definitely most excited to begin my quest to rank 1 in PVP. I am currently saving up money to buy a great computer and start full time streaming. I will be playing rogue as I feel they take the most skill in pvp and are the most fun ! :)

Very excited for Legion, especially as a Feral druid main.  The thought of actually playing and looking different for once it's awe inspiring.  Been following tons of footage from Bellular on his Yoututbe Channel, and Towelliee on Twitch, and am itching to get my hands on some Beta content myself. Legion has me so excited from the Challenge Dungeons, to dailies, to new fresh content for all my current lvl 100s  (12 of them) /crosses fingers for beta access  Thanks Icy Veins, you guys rock

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
