Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm looking forward for fun. I've never played at the start of an expansion so I'm hyped for Legion. I like the new PVP and Artifact system. Hope my Ele Shaman gets some love, a buff would be good. Overall I'm just looking to have fun in Legion. wink.png

I used to love feeling like I was part of something bigger in the World of Warcraft. Whenever someone on the server needed the crusader enchant for example there were some people you knew you could rely on to get the enchant done. Having to farm or pay for R-orbs to get it also felt like something special to do.

So with Legion I really hope they let YOU and other people be special in that way, making crafting or professions in general mean something, and define someone.

I´m really looking forward to the dungeon system in legion with challenge mode. I hope with this, dungeons actually get difficult again on the higher ranks in challenge mode.

What i enjoyed in the past was the whole pandaria experience. I really liked the style of the expansion (something different than normal), the zones and the new monk class.

I'm playing WoW since BC, my first raid was Karazhan. Today, I don't raid anymore, only enjoying a little bit LFR and spending most time questing with my various alts, so I hope that there are a lot of new quests in Legion.

I like also the idea of the artifact weapon system and the different looks of the weapons, because most of my alts are caster, mages or priests in different specs.

I also like PvP and I'm exited about the changes in PvP, espiaclly the new talent and the new prestige system.

Wow has been apart of my life for years and seeing it progress is what I'm looking forward to! A chance to see it progress in a new expansion would be awesome! The best moment I have had was reaching max level with my friend with the first character we ever played, and till this day my rogue and his Druid are our main character :)

Legion will be the first WoW expansion that I get to follow the launch for, and check out new content in a good guild. So I am looking forward to leveling with friends, doing the new dungeons, and trying out the new raids. I am also very hyped on trying the "new" specs and see which class I want to main in the new expansion to offer better utility and to enjoy changing up what I offer. I can't wait!

My favourite moment SO FAR in WoW must have been when we killed mythic Archimonde. It's a pretty obvious highlight, but it means more than just cutting edge. I finally found a guild that was not only able to do more than half the bosses on hc, I also found one that felt right, like a home in WoW. Progressing through HFC with them was amazing, and I'm incredibly happy I could be there for so many of the kills (and wipes!) Fingers crossed for more amazing moments in Legion :)

I am looking forward to making gold with professions again and not solely with my garrison. Sending crafting mats from character to character and then to the AH is something I miss dearly. I am hoping for less daily CDs with crafting. I am hoping to find some fun bugs on Beta, on HFC PTR I remember Mannoroth pushing the whole raid off instantly. Quite entertaining.

I am always hyped for a new expansion. New quests, zones, reworked specs etc.
Feels like a new game and legion is really looking like the game I have always wanted. Hope WoW gets a good reputation when so many subs have left in WoD.
Its an MMO and the funniest thing is playing togther with friends and other people! :)

I would love to join the legion beta for a few reasons, here are my top four.

1. Crafting: let's face it, crafting in WoD is at best, a mini game. Three piece limits, ability to lvl professions in short order, etc. It makes me miss vanilla and bc, when you actually had to make an effort. Thus far, legion accomplishes this by making effort more key.

2. Class Lore: Currently, there isn't a lot here. As my fellow warlock may recall, the dreadsteed quest, while expensive in time and gold, actually felt worth it. You had a journey, not merely a handout. Legion seems to bring back that spirit, making classes feel individual.

3. Raids: I know a lot of people have already talked about this, but it bears repeating. Remember Karazhan? My hunter got picked over my lock simply because i carried repair bots and planned ahead. It felt like i accomplished something.

4. Open World: back in BC, i loved how the world didn't feel empty. People then actually helped either other far more than now. That made it worthwhile for me. Legion, even with phasing, stands to bring this back.

There are other reasons, such as healing on my resto shaman, but those are the parts that matter to me. Oh, and my most memorable time in WoW was Moroes in Kara. Sure, he wasn't the end boss, but he felt like an important part of the story.

As a deathknight im really excited for the lore with the new lichking i started playing wow in bc but leveled most of the xpac. wrath is where i got into raiding and playing my deathknight. I play mostly tanks and blood deathknight are my favorite. I am looking forward to the tank change's and how they will effect the more causal player as its going to be harder to tank.

Hey Guys,

it's very cool and kind of you that you do theese give aways.

I'm really excited for Legion because I'm a huge wow fan.

The Broken Isles looks very nice and I'm hyped for the new content especially for the new challenge mode and the new pvp system.

But I also like to test the new world content and the new instances / raids and of course: The class changes. I read news to Legion everyday and since I found

a great guild some months ago that I really like I'm also really into Raiding again.

So as I said: I'm excited to test all the new Features. I think Legion has good potential to be the best wow addon yet.

Thank you for reading.

Greetings and good luck to everyone,

your Bobasan.

I've been playing WoW since the beginning of WOTLK and it lost the fun value for me during the end of MOP and I want to get back into playing again so I'm looking forward to it being as good as it looks and sounds also looking forward to the new Mage weapons

Hmmm, I had a long and hard think about this and I am looking forward to seeing what World of Warcraft can bring to the plate. By this I mean trying all the new content I am really looking forward to the new challenge mode system and the new raids but I would love to take a look into the new pvp system but most of all I just cannot wait to get my orcish hands on that doom hammer and start swinging it around with the elements at my foes.

So excited for Legion !!! All the artifacts belong to me mwahahahaha!!!

Lol but really, the overhaul is going to be awesome :)

Buddy and I joined during mists, and back then it was a lot of fun raiding with him. WOD was also fun to raid together, and now we will be moving on to Legion and get all the legendaries. Hyped.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
