Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I especially expect new raid levels and the different talents of prodigious weapon. I'm also a big fan of the game's story and want to know how all this will end

So I am looking forward about almost everything ,but i am more excited about the fact that i will have time to raid seriously with my guild.

Though Wow itself always offered me fun and good memories,my best 1 was when I finally brought Garrosh to his knees in Heroic with my guild

I think I'm most excited about in Legion are all the new spell graphics, Artifacts and the whole Legion invasion. I'm also pretty excited about Class Halls and the new transmog system. I started playing a few weeks before BC and this game still amazes me. I remember walking arund Stormwind and Ironforge for the first time and how big the world felt (specially because I was a little gnome lol). I've met a lot of nice people (and some enemies) along the way which made this journey even better. Thanks, Blizzard and I hope to be around for a long time

It's funny how the thing I am most excited for in legion isn't any specific feature, I would play WoW regardless of what they did to the game, but that all of my friends that used to play WoW are coming back. This also ties into my fondest memory of WoW. I started playing in Vanilla, but a lot of my irl friends never picked the game up till WotLK. At that point I was already a hardcore raider, but in my off time I would help run my friends on one of my alts through ulduar. A moment I'll never forget is the time we kill Yogg Saron the first time with my friends. Even though it was old content for me it was just fun experiencing it with my friends. If I had to say one feature I'm looking forward to in legion however I would probably say the revamp in the honor system. I haven't really PvP'd since Vanilla mostly because I raid most of the time I am on, but also because of the separate gear grind for me is just too much. Now that I can PvP in my PvE gear I will do it much more often.

I'm looking forward to the Demonology Spec changes. They look amazing and have always been exactly what I wanted out of the Warlock class. Now I can finally play out my class fantasy and rule with the world with a million imps by my side! Also the dungeons look really rad.

Hi all,

I look forward for this expansion, since vanilla i keep myself updated through youtube and several forum but this time i need to try resto shaman i feel sad for all that i have seen.

I see resto sham being a good healer for the start of the expansion but in the future with better gear i think he’ll lose his spot as we can see in WoD now.

Overall seems that Legion will be great.

Cheers

I can't wait until legion! I'm torn on what I'm most excited about, Demon Hunters sound great both visually and from a lore perspective. I'm also excited about each spec playing very distinctly, I agree that some new utility spells may be needed to fully flesh out each spec but the concept is very interesting and I'm excited to try it out!

I am a little worried that my days are going to be Jump-Jump-Fly once I start playing a Demon Hunter...I should probably take time to kill things too =)

I'm really excited for the new artifact weapons and raids as both look really cool. My favorite moment by far has to be when I first downed mythic Garrosh back in MoP for the first time

I really love almost everything they're doing for Legion, but if I had to choose I'd say class identity and dungeons as endgame content. As a healer, I'm looking forward to the new tools they're gonna give us and maybe switch my main to that sexy holy priest...

I also love that the burning Legion is coming back... This reminds me of my BC hardcore raiding times.. How I miss the crazy difficulty of those Sunwell fights... It was somewhat frustrating, but nothing compared to the feeling when you downed a boss for the first time...

If I am going to list off all the things I am looking forward to in Legion, we'd be here 'till six in the morning. But in short;

-Artifact weapons-- especially look at how they scale compared to regular gear in raid/dungeon enviroments

-Gnome Hunters & Mechanical pets. I really don't think I have to explain this one..

- DEMONOLOGY WARLOCK. I've been wanting to play my warlock for the past 1.5 years, but since it is widely regarded as the worst spec in the game as of now, I cannot play it. (It is one of my favourites). The new spec is looking amazing, and I would love to test raids with it!

-Raids and Dungeons. I'm growing tired of HFC and BRF by now. Seeing and testing the new raids will give me a fresh look upon the game, just as it did in WoD

Good luck to everyone participating!

Borthion

I'm really excited for the new pvp honor system and the new animations. I also really appreciate that blizzard are putting more effort into making pvp more balanced. The new raids look pretty cool too and the zones look beautiful.

Since I have a bank and void storage full of transmog, I'm most excited for the new transmog collection system. I'll love being able to create custom looks on the fly in a cool new interface.

I'm also excited to be able to customize my artifact weapon a bunch of different ways, the transmogs people come up with will be awesome.

I am fond of playing Warlock class, especially demon. Moreover I'd like to know how Gul'dan died in the Surama raid of course, and will he come back sooner or later. I was beginning to play WoW with my friends in undergraduate. Although most of them are AFK by many reasons, I still play this game for faith. In LEG new patch, I concentrate more on raid and story, instead of PVP. It is no hesitation about how I wanna to play LEG ASAP

As someone who got hit ridiculously hard when professions were streamlined for garrisons, I'd say I'm looking most forward to the new professions. Hopping in my robot suit and heading out to herb and mine. My personal favorite moment in WoW was competing with an auction bot in WotLK where he'd constantly undercut me on everything I put, so I saw how much he'd undercut me by, and the guy hadn't put a limit to how much he would undercut by, so I put up my titansteel destroyer's and gems on the AH for like 50 gold, and the guy undercut me by a copper and I bought all of his shit. It was a beautiful time

Artifact weapons and the new class sound pretty interesting, i'm always interested in learning the new talents and skills every expansion brings to the game. I'm really looking forward to the new challengemode features, maybe they spice things up a bit.

The most important thing is the endgame content, let's hope for the best!

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
