Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm mostly excited about Demon Hunters and generally just exploring the Broken Isles. My enthusiasm for demon hunters is the reason I chose to play demonology warlock back in wrath, because I was very fond of demon hunter hero unit in warcraft 3, and metamorphosis spell was sole reason I loved it.

I can't wait until legion to explore the new and amazing landscapes. Val'Sharah and The Emerald Nightmare raid looks like an epic and glorious place to prove your valor. Also looking forward to rocking up to the first raid and my GM not having a seachart.

The thing I'm most looking forward to its the lore. In my opinion the low of the last two or three expansions where mediocre at best. The legion, especially Sargeras, on the other hand is such an interesting topic that it could be exactly what WoW needs right now

I really loved pvp in vanilla WoW, since it was relatively easy to get the rare pvp set, so everyone was on a similar powerlevel in reasonable time and i'm excited for the new pvp system in legion, which i hope will bring back the feeling of the old days for battlegrounds.

and - as a hunter player - im also very very very hyped about the spec revamp, especially survival now beeing melee, so please give me a beta-key so i can try it out ;-) hehe

Lots of new cool thing idk what i am most exited to try.. Maybe the redesign to specs, some people hate it i really love those radical changes like survival hunter. Also really looking forward for the artifacts quest, the lock green fire was really great, nice to see something like that for every spec.

PVP and a great established universe pretty much sums up what WoW meant for me over the last decade. So what I'm really looking forward in Legion is the new prestige system and overall PvP changes and playing with the revamped classes with their stronger fantasy. I'm really looking foward to see the game running with the new animations too. Playing live, after watching videos of the new animations, isn't really doing it for me anymore lol.

Also, one thing I would really like to see in Legion is the implementation of some kind of structured WPVP content. It would be awesome to have WPVP events to make the world more alive and simply for the fun that is  WPVP.

Being that I have enjoyed the different classes throughout the years in the past, I can hardly wait to play the newly tuned and brand new specializations within the classes for Legion. My friends that I had and also made in the game, bonded greatly through playing WoW with each other and learning how to best others via player versus player. The PvP system seems to be the largest feature yet to capture my interests and reignite my passions for this game. I can barely wait for the whole new approach in the transmogrification system! My characters appearance late-game, is something I like to focus in between major events, serving to be quite satisfactory!biggrin.png

I am really looking forward to Legion. As a tank player having a new tank class, the Demon Hunter, coming in Legion is very exciting. Almost all the features in Legion excite me and the new PvP system may entice me to play a lot more PvP

What I'm looking forward to the most:

- WW Monks hopefully becoming easier to play and more DPS competitive

- Running new alts to experience all of the class halls

Can't wait!

Honestly, I'm really looking forward for the Artifact Weapons along with the lore tied quest line you have to go through to obtain your weapon. Another thing in legion I hope that there is plenty of world content and world content that is worth doing to progress you character, that will get you out of any major city.

I am exceptionally excited to get my hands on Legion. The though of being able to explore all the new areas, lore, and dungeons/raids has me giddy like a schoolgirl about to meet Leonardo DiCaprio.

Not only that, but all the new music to stuff onto my iPhone?

Bring.

It.

On.

And Demonology Warlocks are gonna be game-changing for my Warlock... Darkmagi. Affliction he will be.. no more. =D

Demon Hunter ! It realy plays diferent and it feels like a very fresh adition to the wow classes. Now if only i could have necromancer! Also the artifact system seems promising, i like the idea of empowering your weapon and the synergies within.

I'm really excited about the demon hunters. I feel like there will be new mechanics in dungeons and raids for their double jump and glide. Also iam looking foward to the new artifact system, it looks amazing and it is a really good idea to get back the missing subs!

Now about my WoW life, i started playing in MoP but i've really played in WoD. At WoD i've had my first guild raiding experience and it was amazing! The most funny thing was at Highmaul first fight when kargath entered in the Berserker Rush state and one of my friends was running from him and fell in one of those tiger cages hahaha.

I hope that legion can provide me such good moments as these ones biggrin.png

Maybe with this expansion there will be some balance with the classes both in pve and pvp
Legendary weapons will probably change the whole game from what it was
Lets just hope rogues won't one-shot you or stun-lock you all over again

What I'm looking forward to in Legion is the priest changes.  I'm going back to shadow and will keep my disc offspec still.  I really miss reforging though as it was my favorite thing to have in the game because it allowed me to take one stat that may not be my most desirable stat and change it into it.  I wish they would bring that back

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
