Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I am so excited for demon hunters, specifically vengeance spec!  I've always liked tanking classes and from what I've seen this one will be no different. I cannot wait to try out the new raids as well, raiding has always been a big part of this game for me!  My favorite WoW moment would have to be my current guild's first ever mythic raid and pushing through that content as we've grown as players!

Looking forward to Legion, I thought WoD was boring, too much being stuck in and around the Garrisons, even though they tried to fix it later in the game. Legion looks like a lot more fun.

I'm really looking forward to test out the new animations with my actual combat rogue, so I also want to test the "new" spec, outlaw.

I want to try the new dungeons and raids, test the new PvP system and the new class.

Hope I can get a key

In the new expansion one of the things that I do like is the addition of artifacts and the leveling up of those artifacts. The new PvP system is also something I like the idea of, but I hope they execute it well. The new class, the last video I saw of it looks kind of easy and simple to play with the 2 main abilities being the only buttons you press in like a 6 second rotation.

I've been playing  PvP mostly since I started WoW, so I'm really curious about the new honor system. And I hope it works. I have no friends so I play alone most of the time. xD Filthy casual, I know. But I wish I would get into raiding in Legion, as boring as it sounds for me, I wanna see what it's like to do PvE for a change.  Also I have a few druids, so I think I'm gonna be in love with the new forms.  And ofcourse like others, I'm very excited to play the demon hunters.

I am really looking forward to the new druid forms as well as the transmog changes. I haven't had an active sub long but one of my favourite memories was doing the undead starting zone with my sister and falling in love with the lore behind it.

I think the thing I am most hyped for in Legion are the new mounts and the new Demon Hunter Hero Class. I really want a felbat and maybe an armored felbat if available and also I wanna play the Havoc spec for DH. Metamorphosis definitely looks like the coolest ability. The best moment/thing that ever happened to me in WoW is clearing ICC 25m Heroic in the first few months of that patch being released.

Thanks. :)

I'm looking forward to the weapons and all the new talents. The new transmog system is getting me pretty excited also! Not so excited on the mad big health ect but hopefully the experience will be that good that'll I'll over look the health!

My fondest memory has to be when me and my friend farmed heroics all day in WOTLK. Oh those were the days! Just for badges for one bit of gear! Those were the days! Also getting stuck on Halls of reflection normal and heroic since they were so hard back in the day.

Cheers lads :D

Rerolling main in Legion and the new demo lock looks awesome!

But what I'm looking forward is to explore the Broken Shore and do new dungeons and raids with my guildies.

I also keeps my fingers crossed that they fix the crafting system that they broke in WoD. My five transmute alchemist and two jewelcrafters are crying themself to sleep ever since WoD droped!

Looking forward to raid in Legion and hope they have a raid schedule that is more reasonable than letting the player base starve on a one year Tier.

Looking forward to playing whichever rogue spec does the most dps. Most likely continuing with subtlety for singletarget and combat. outlaw, for any bosses that needs cleave.  And by the way, thanks to Icyveins for the spec choices, stat weights and rotation guides, allowing me to actually be of use on my alts. I've never played as many different classes as in Wod.

I'm excited for Legion because of the changes that are happening to Subtlety, which allows the spec to interact with trinket procs a lot better than the current incarnation of the specialization in the live game currently. I'm also hyped for the melee visual improvements.

Currently saving my wowtokens for when it counts, but i'm paying close attention to the rogue changes in Legion since that's what I have alwayss mained. Other then that looking forward to new lore and of course the flashy cinematics, always liked the ones in the past.

Really looking forward to the new Demon Hunter lore and roleplay opportunities - their whole story has been kind of faded and left to interpretation, so this'll be a great chance for some roleplaying realms!

As a huge WoW fan with over 8 years of experience, I just can't wait to try out legion. It my souns weird, but I really can't wait for new animations, especially sub (wait. i mean outlaw ) rogue and warrior,  I always liked those two classes/spells, but with new fleshed out animations they just look so good. I avoid videos and spoilers, so that I can see everything on my own eyes, so I've been looking forward for that. Also GZ icyveins on 5 years anniv, been long time reader of yours

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
