Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I am very much so looking forward to multiple large changes coming in Legion:The removal of PvP gear - this is something I have wanted for WoW for a long time. I know a lot of WoW players probably disagree with me, but I feel PvP should be a lot less about farming honor to be able to even participate in games and more about the fantasy of a battleground.Artifact system - I don't feel I even need to go into detail as to why this is awesome. Yet another layer of character customization both in terms of appearance and gameplay.Last but not least, I'm hyped for the Demon Hunters. Through the lull of WoD lately, I have been working on all classes to 100, and it will be nice to have another class to add to that, and the play style looks very fun and unique compared to other classes in WoW.

Most looking forward to ASHBRINGER! I can sum up my entire Legion expectations in one word. ASHBRINGER!
my goto fondest WoW memory is: I was running around Azshara workin on my Hydraxian Waterlords rep when I spotted a thorium vein. Naturally being a miner/BS i could not pass up this opportunity so I stopped to mine it, when ALL OF A SUDDEN i was jumped!  By an Orc. --warrior i think-- he kills me, then proceeds to /dance on my dead body. so i rez and luckily, GY is right there so, i rez. jump the Orc this time I WIN! I mine 1 more ore from the node and he's baaaaack. we fight. i lose. I rez and watch the vein disappear. Orc is long gone.  It was so funny that Horde and Alliance were fighting to the death over this ONE thorium vein. and we end up splitting it. 2 ores each. Best example of fun world pvp. nobody got ganked, nobody was a camping little baby. we fought of a single Thorium vein, then when it was over, went off on our own things. :) #GoodTimes

I'm really looking forward to test out the new class changes and the PVP system. Also, the new Demon hunter class looks awesome.  For best moment in WoW? When i first heard this: "We are the Forsaken. We will slaughter anyone who stands in our way." I can't wait to see what will happen with Sylvanas. Happy 5th anniversary Icy Veins.

I don't know if it is to late to try but here it goes....

I have pre ordered the  Deluxe version of Legion and i been playing for seven years. also trying for beta for 3 years now or more.  Always enjoyed the new expansions. Yes there were things i did not always agree with all the decisions and changes made but over all this game has been awesome and enjoyed watching it  grow to what is today. I know that many want beta and usually don't  do what they are their to do. They just want an early peak at the expansion. I know that there is a lot more to it then just playing it and i am not doing it just to say i played Beta. I am looking forward to Legion cause its a  fresh story line and i think Blizz allowing us to play Demon Hunters is exciting. the changes in the pve and pvp system sound really good and i can't wait to try out the new artifact system and learn/read the lore. sorry suck at this kinda thing. loltongue.png

Hey everyone!, well, what I am most excited about is the upcoming changes to hunters, I can't wait to try the new survival spec! And mages.. their class order hall looks amazing! From the new zones suramar looks soo impressive, I'm curious about what blizz is going to do with the huge city there; and the questing seems to be really fun and have lots of voice acting... and the best memories I have from the past are the joy of hitting max level, raiding with friends and just enjoying the game in general, I really love this game and I'm very excited about the new expansion :) so I hope I can win one key and start testing myself!, anyway thanks for giving us this chance and happy anniversary! :D

I'm most excited by the whole zone scaling thing, will mean multiple alts will all have a different story of their own, which I absolutely love as an idea, and I can't wait to get my Doomhammer. Gonna smash some faces with it and look damn fancy while I do. :D

There are many things I am looking forward to in Legend, artifact weapons, wardrobe, Demon Hunters, spec changes, the new PVP system, etc. Change to your spec can be scary (and exciting), but I know I can count on Icy Veins Guides to puy me back on track. I am shocked that I can still be excited about a new expansion considering I started playing in vanilla

The holy paladin changes are both awesome and concerning and I hope that I get a chance to test out some of them before launch. The new paladin animations in general are great as well, transmogs are cool, our giant 2h hammer is cool.  The new dungeons look awesome, especially Maw of Souls. I want to play through that one SO BAD.  I'm also hoping that Demon Hunters don't stay overpowered, but maintain their cool class flavor and mobility as much as they can.

As much as I'm glad the garrison mission standard will be going away, I'm optimistic that they'll take the best aspects of that and apply it in legion to give us some real-world tasks to take up our time. I suppose really I'm just looking forward to having some more time-sinks!

I can't wait for basically every aspect of Legion.  The new animations look awesome, Artifact weapons look awesome, PvP talent system for more diversity and ofcourse. Started playing WoW since vanilla, where leveling was the real game. Started Pvp and pve in TBC, still remember being stuck at gruul. Wotlk was where it really began for me tho. Getting my first high rated team, getting to know people, .

As a ret pally, I am just excited to be able to have the ashbringer as my artifact weapon. I am also looking forward to the quest halls bringing a unique feel to your class instead of just being a "dps".As for a fond memory, I remember just starting the game with my friend and we had just went out and bought matching laptops(like the nerds we were). We were having fun leveling and exploring the game when we heard about wrath of the lich king coming out and the new hero class, we then spent a bunch of all nighters with many energy drinks to level our toons past 55 so we could have a DK once wrath came out. No raids, no min/maxing, just pure exploring/questing fun for the first time

Well first of: happy birthday guys, keep going strong. First im excited for Legion, because once again I will be able to fight side by side with my guild against everything the Legion will throw against us. It's my first guild and it was a great achievement to clear Hellfire Citadell on Mythic. On the other hand I am concerned about the changes made to the hunter and would love to test him before being disappointed when Legion drops and I won't be able to roll another class because I don't have it on 100.

I have stopped playing WoW, when Cata hit. I was here, around, since Vanilla, through whole TBC and WotLK - and simply became burnt and tired of it.When i read about WoD, with characters whom I loved returning - I was curious. Curious, but not convinced to start playing again. that was the moment in which I created new account, just to BE PREPARED.This new artifact system, Demon Hunters, all the characters and stories that made me love Warcraft returning - that's why I'm here, to witness. My personal best moment? Either first time I killed the Lich King, or the Very first raid I was part of - that feeling of being powerful, whole guild trusting you enought to take you with them. Thats what hooked me in, and kept me here for years.

I can't wait for the new class animations, artifact weapons and the new lore. The new class animations and awesome artifact are what makes me keep on playing WoW, leveling new classes for the awesomeness of the animation change in legion. The other part which excites me is the lore, I am so glad that the story in actual Azeroth will change and not just affect a tiny, unnoticeable and different timeline. Over all that is what I am most excited about legion, see you WoW brethren there (either on launch or beta)

I am looking forward to the artifact weapons! I think it's such a great concept to have weapons that have specific class upgrades themselves built in. For me this just adds another way to distinguish yourself and to feel more powerful. Great stuff!

can't help expecting the fabulous experience I am gonna enjoy of mythic raids in Legion including Emerald Nightmare and Suramar Palace. Even 10 different and breathtaking dungeons with different villains are attractive and amazing. Hope to take the first position to experience the world that has been interloped by the Burning Legion

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
