Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I am very excited about the changes the shaman enhancement. For the first time, there were significant changes in the class and I can take them from the start. As I have not ALFA PTR , I get a little frustrated not to be learning now. I also have great expectations for the Legion , hoping (as always) that the class be competitive with all other melees.

I have never been a pvp player but I am looking forward to the new pvp system because it looks pretty cool. Also the demonhunter class looks like it's going to be fun. And hopefully there will be no Orcs besides Gul'dan in this expansion

Looking particularly forward to Artifact Weapons and the lore. Never really been this hyped for an expansion before because I joined in Wod  I think my fondest memory was when I was running around on my starter edition level 20 pandaren monk, I really wanted to explore everything so I casually boarded the ship to Northrend to go and explore (Not knowing what was to come.) I got off the ship from Valiance Keep and swum south finding the Kvaldir at Riplash Ruins, at this moment I realised how stupid I was going to a zone that meant I could barely do anything, so naturally I swum underneath and around Riplash Ruins when I came across a hole. I followed it up and it led to a cave, while I was expecting more Kvaldir there was none, I came to a pearl on some sort of stone podium in the centre of the room. Behind it were some bones and there I saw a White Murloc Egg. I picked it up without any hesitation and used it. I then got my first battle-pet (I didn't even know they existed before this. You can still get him I think, but I have been using Terky for ages. I liked feeling cool while walking through Stormwind with my murloc, then again anything with a murloc looks cool in my opinon. But yeah, that was my fondest memory because I remember getting it when it was still a rarity. Still got him to this day and hopefully in the future. Let's hope no exceedingly cool battle-pets show up that will make me want to replace Terky

It would be a nice Birthday present too since my birthday is on march 29th. I'm just happy that you give some people a possibility to play Legion when they can't afford it, etc, etc. Well lastly i discovered WoW once again for me. After a long period of not playing im stunned by all the new features and i will surely be when entering Legion. I hope that Legion will shut the mouths of all the "rip WoW" flamers wich come up everytime after a new addon is released.

I really just want to be able to some testing on shamans, Really want to know if i think it's gonna be worth it to continue playing my main since bc, or if more disappointment is all there is left for shaman. would be awesome to test that in the beta rather than the first two weeks of live

I am really looking forward to the class changes, my favorite classes are going to get major changes (for the best i hope) this expansion. Hunter and Rogue will get reworked specializations, and shaman will get a new resource. I really like how WoW is getting away from the old RPG mechanics of using mana for resources, it started with hunters back in Cata and now with shaman, maybe paladin will be next? really looking foward to that

Really excited to play the hunter specs aswell as doing all the quests for the artifacts weapon on ALL of my current lvl 100 characters, even if I don't level them to 110 right away it will still be fun to try out all the new goodies that blizzard has put in. As someone who started playing wow 9 years ago I think that this expansion is going to blizzards best one yet and is going to put new life into the world of warcraft, I cant wait

I'm really excited about the new changes for this game.Since the end of classic I play enh shaman, and the best adventures were with the guild in Icecrown Citadel. until today a lot has changed but the shaman still makes fun.To legion come great changes, and I look forward to the classes and also speccs feel especially right again.I would like to see a beta key to all classes and the new pvp system.from leveling in legion however, I would stay away because the explore the strange world I would like take away for the release. that count for dungeons and raids.

There are a lot of things that I'm looking forward to in Legion: New Honor system, zones that scale with you, artifact weapons, and hopefully getting some of my guild's old raiders back to help with tackling the great looking end game content. As for my fondest memories, they'd have to be of my guild doing ZA bear runs back in the day. Had an absolute blast getting ten friends together to try and take down that timer

I won't lie, the beta competition encouraged me to finally sign up for your site. I've been using it for talents and transmog for a good year or so, so thanks for that. I'm very excited for artifact weapons from a lore and appearance-unlocking standpoint, because they look goddamn awesome and their origins are even more badass. I'm looking forward to class halls because I've always felt that Moonglade could have been some awesome Druid sanctuary if it was used more. I'm holding off from watching the revelations of them until I can explore them first-hand. I've recently gotten Warcraft: Chronicle and I'm looking forward to seeing if there's any lore about Stone-Mother Therazane in Highmountain. It would make a lot of sense, if you ask me. Oh, and a complete overhaul to Druid gameplay would be just about excellent if you ask me. If it wasn't my main, it would be one of my least-played classes in the game.

The dungeons look amazing and it certainly will get me into Pve again, so if Pvp is a disappointment (but it doesnt look like its going to be at all) im finally going to get back into Pve which is amazing, and im loving the diea of being able to go through to different lvling zones at any lvl, HIGHMOUNTAINS WILL BE FIRST XD

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
