Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Ever since the Burning Crusade, i have been hooked, as i started my wow journey there(although i have been following since Warcraft III : Reign of Chaos) and it really left me hooked, The thing i'm looking forward to in Legion is how are they going, lore wise, to bring Illidan back, redemption story etc. as i feel in BC he wasn't done Justice. I hope also to get another glimpse of Sargeras, and how they incorporate back with Kil'Jaeden. Also whether King Varian Wrynn is really dead. favorite moment last time was actually PVP'ing with a bunch of my friends against a Alliance dominated server. (as i wasn't really an active raider,  i didn't manage to reach Illidan or Arthas in the coming expansions until WOD)   FOR THE HORDE.

I'm really excited about the changes they made for disc priest. can't wait to try out the new healing build since it's quite boring to spam shields in WoD. I was never a melee type but I'm thrilled to test it.Since everyone is now fully equipped at the end of this expansion and the members are less active, I can't wait to have the raiding team back together when Legion starts and having these weekly late night sessions again. Hopefully I can get a glimpse of it already during the beta

I started playing during MoP in 2014. I had fun leveling until I hit 47 on a Monk, decided I liked what I was seeing enough to pre-order WoD (plus I really wanted a DK). I boosted that Monk, made and leveled my DK. The guides really helped me get the ball rolling What am I most looking forward to in Legion? Getting to try out the classes with their new updates. Demonology has my undivided attention right now (as well as MM Hunter, my current main) Fondest memory? Actually completing the Legendary Cape in MoP. I am an Alt-o-holic (help me.) and several level 90s later, I decided on Mage for my main during MoP. I started the Sigil of power/wisdom stage and worked on it for all my characters but never got past it. My Mage was the only character I pushed past that and eventually completed the cape on Really looking forward to Legion

Because i am a huge Blizzard Lore Fan i am mostly looking forward to and am excited about the artifact weapon storylines.my fondest memories are the ones building a raid group with people i met in WoW who became one of my best friends and doing the raids with them in classic WoW

Im most looking forward to the playstyle of DH and the design of the new area, i have watched so many streams on legion and also took a look at how demon hunters were made. My biggest memory would have to be when i first played cata asking my friend to give me slow fall so i could get the [Going Down.] achieve instead they /laughed at me as i fell to my death

First Congrats on your 5 year anniversary.  I have been with Icy Veins since 2012, I have used the class guides on every toon I have made in World of Warcraft.  For talent trees to gems and enchants to rotation help.  And With Legion coming out and all the spec changes I really will need Icy Veins then.  Keep up the great work guys, and hopefully you will be able to give me a beta key and see you in game.

First, thanks for offering up the chance to participate in the beta, it is very much appreciated. Icy-Veins has been an amazing resource for raid encounters and class information, and it has certainly enhanced the WoW experience for me. I realize that might come off a bit.brown-nose, but I mean it sincerely. I think the thing I am looking forward to most in Legion is the redesign of the classes, most notably, the Arcane Mage

There are three things I'm most looking forward to, and all of them have to do with making the game feel new again. New classes are always cool, and open up new experiences in PvE and PvP.2) Class "overhauls:. I think this was a LONG time coming. The classes, I feel, were getting bloated and stale. The ability revamp should go a long way to making the game feel new again.3) 5man progressiong using keystones. Since FOREVER I wanted a way to progress end game with a smaller group than a full raid. I really hope this ends up being a legit alternative to raiding. All in all, I'm much more excited for this expansion than Mists or WoD. I just hope it delivers.

I'm really looking forward to experience all this new areas, bosses, quests, to wave my legendary "FrostReaper" all around azeroth, and slay any hordes I might encounter. What did I enjoyed in the past? I remember my first run with the guild at Karazhan, I was amazed and truly loved that Raid, I still do, many hours of wipes, listened to the RL in Vent goin mad. Hope in legion we may have such a raid.

Past/Current:Ive always been playing WoW with casual approach and only in late MoP i started to get more involved in raiding world and during the time of WoD ive grown from being casual LFR/Dungeon player into 13/13mythic in HFC. Im extremely happy with my progress to become hopefully one day the top raider for my role, with alot effort i feel like i can achieve this. Recent work on raids from Blizzard has been insanely good and i consider HFC to be in my top3 best raids ever done with BRF not far behind and i can only expect them to improve from those in Legion, with new addition of Demonhunter i hope to learn new indepth stuff when it comes to raiding and lacking Legion alpha access ive only been able to watch and wait anxiously to get my hands on the action. ps: new transmog system is insane and big point for me

The warlock is almost redo (just like every time). And the demon hunter so cool, I'd like to say it looks better than DK. The context seems back to the main line, and we face LEGION eventually.

I can't wait to see how the advent of the legion will dramatically changes life on Azeroth. Of course I'm looking forward to the new changes in game, but I'm big fan of the lore

Legion is hyping itself up to be abit of fresh air from WoD which is amazing! can´t wait to invade the broken isles and show the legion who´s the boss, and getting the artifact weapon only adds to that.

Been palying the game for almost 9 years nonstop, it took me a long time to get really into the game and see all the different things the game has to offer, and how awesome the end game content always is, legion is gonna be amazing!

I'm most looking forward to the insanity resource for shadow priests.  I've never been much of a caster player, but the idea appeals to my interests. The friends I made during Vanilla raiding is the greatest part of my entire wow tenure

Looking forward to legion especially Shadow Priests seeing as they are my favorite spec in the game. The zones look so god damn beautiful as well and the questlines and the lore of the expansion gets me very interested.

I started playing just after SoO released in Mists and already in my first 10 minutes of playing i got hooked it's like a whole new world with so many different art styles and questlines i truly felt engaged in the game whilst playing it. When I started I leveled a Rogue and actually through Icyveins I gained a substantial knowledge gain of the class and the game in general. I then also only did LFR and some normal raids but in WoD i've raided mythic with tank, healer and dps and i enjoy the game alot I expect i'll enjoy Legion even more!

Do not know how to say, in fact, there are a lot of expectations.

For example, four Talants of Druid, the DH, the PVP System or any other things.

And, all of the friends want me to get the beta Account to check their guess of Legion.

Looking forward.

Waiting.

I am really looking forword to Obtaining and totally unlocking my artifacts. I am a little disheartened that my main class spec is the only one not available at the moment (brewmaster monk). I think one of the best moments in game is when you are in a group of friends and you finally kill that raid boss taht has been a road block to you for weeks.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
