Veteran player for more than 10 years, I have always dedicated to PvE content . Since I am the leader of my guild raid want to be updated and ready .In addition to experience the new classesI am very attracted by new dungeons that seem to be very compelling and graphically more advanced than what we have seen so far.I would like to try the new artifact system and most of all the new challenge system

I'm looking forward to the new lore and the artifact system. Anything dealing with the Legion brings back fond memories of BC. As for my favorite era of WoW I would have to say it was during Wrath. Killing the Lich Kung was one of the best moments I've ever had as a player

Most anticipating new thing in Legion i am waiting is the artifact system. The individual character base questing and earning a weapons will going to be awesome.  The new demon hunter class looks very promising and go well with the Legion theme. I was looking to kill Gul'dan in the WOD, but as he was not there as a raid boss. But now finding him as main raid boss in Legion really excites me. Overall story and lore added in Legion looks very very promising. The graphic details, new animation of spells, environment details upgrades are so beautiful. The more you read about new things in Legion the more I get excited about it.

I'm most excited to see how the world content ends up, like the level scaling and even world bosses. I also can't wait to collect as many artifact appearances as I can and make transmogs with them. One of my best memories in WoW was reaching max level for the first time and finally gearing up my paladin properly

I've played the game since early 2005 and even if I don't always agree with the direction of where the game has been going, I keep coming back. There's alot of discussion about the pruning lately and I actually think pruning is not the core problem, the problem to begin with was how they made classes so similar over time, designing the "flaws" away in every iteration. Now that they are removing abilities for various reasons, I believe people will find that the classes are very shallow since Cata and onwards. I think WoW is a game ABOUT being a unique, legendary hero, and yet, it has gradually shifted away from that. I don't know how we will come back from that but as I said earlier, I keep coming back to the game anyway. For some reason the game just means alot to me. I'm mostly excited about Legion because of the artifact weapons, pvp talents and just the continued story of WoW

I think what's got me most excited about legion in general is the amount of work they've put into the class design, I'm not even sure what I want to main anymore since they're bringing back the identity of so many specs across the board. And of course the new transmog system, my bags, bank and void storage are all jam packed so it will be nice to no longer have to choose between sets I want to keep

I joined WoW in the middle of Wrath and didn't make it to max level til Cata. I have heard that Cata on have had no so good end game content and I wanna know what an end game like Wrath or BC feels like because all I hear are people saying it was so fun back then. My favorite memory in WoW would either be when me and my neighbors had just started as night elves and were leveling and had no clue how to get to the eastern kingdoms for like 2 weeks because we thought the boat that sells apples took us to the Exodar but turns out there were 2 different boats the other time would prob be when (even though it's technically outside and inside the game) I went to a card shop when Hearthstone was in beta and got some WoW TCG cards that were on sale. I had yet to get a loot card from a pack even though I had opened like 20 of them and my friends had opened maybe 5 and had each gotten one. So I picked up 7 packs and opened all of them and on the last pack I got a white camel mount that I looked up and it was worth $80 so I was extremely happy I got into game and went to go redeem it when my friend asked me how I had gotten a pet. I said Chris (a friend who bought a TCG pack for the lols and got a loot card) gave it to me but it was fairly common to get and that he could prob get one in 2 packs. He was fairly new to the game and I felt bad for some reason and I decided to give him the code for the camel as a "late birthday present". I am still friends with him today but sadly he doesn't play WoW that much anymore (prob cause WoD.) but I felt good giving it to him because it made him happy and making others happy is what matters most I would also like to thank you guys on your class guides that helped me learn Restroom Druid and frost DK rotations thank you and have a nice day

I guess this is a good a time as any to tell a tale of my favorite moments in World of Warcraft!

A humble beginning

As the story of Icy-Veins began, my story also begin with two young gentlemen who met for the first time 14 years ago. As the grooming adolescent teen I was back then, I often attended parties till the morning sun would touch my face. However, one drunken saterday morning, stroling down the street in my multi-colered used-to-be-white outfit, I heard the booze-covered intelligent conversation between a young man and 4 girls. Something about skinny-dipping somewhere and abviously I wasn't about to let him alone with 4 teenage girls. I do not recollect how long it took for the girls to get rid of us but my, soon to be best friend, were hitting the bars untill we started to get sober again! Stories were told that day... Which I can't remember smile.png

The introduction

A few years went by and my friend and I moved in together in his moms old flat. We were both very enthusiastic about gaming and shared what experiences we have had. I played many of the good old games like Deus Ex, Freelancer and Fallout and he played something called 'World of Warcraft". He told me about his human paladin and how you could level up a character, get items and be more powerful by doing quests and dungeons. I knew about Warcraft from playing the Warcraft games and back then I played a lot of Dota (Defence of the Ancients). World of Warcraft didn't sound that appealing to me and I didn't really pay much attention to it.

Building up

While we were sitting next to eachother and playing our seperate games, more than once I had glansed over his shoulders to see what this World Of Warcraft really looked like. He had told me about a new expansion was due for next week and he asked me if I wanted to try playing a little bit on his paladin to see if I liked how it worked. I didn't like the paladin at first. It felt clumsy and heavy, I was more a fast-paced kinda fellow and I thought that was how all the classes were. The following week. he got his hands on The Burning Crusade and begged me to purchase the game so he had someone to game with. I was reluctant at first but eventually I gave in, bought the two games and got my 2 months of free game time. I created my account and made my first charater, a rogue. I had never played this game before and my friend took me under his wing so I could learn and not just die within the first minute. We fought on, stole many candles and I fell more and more in love with the environment and the game.

The ragequit!

I was level 47 on my rogue and I felt powerful with my mace-specialization (back then if you had the mace-specialization talent, you would have increased chance of stunning with maces) but one moment in Tanaris would change that! We had experienced gankers in Stranglethorn Vale and thought it was pathetic that max level players would gank low levels. In Tanaris general chat there were screams of a Warlock and his friend pestering the wastelands and killing everything in sight. Eventually we found these two pests ourselves. A Warlock and a Shaman. What was a shaman? I knew the Alliance had Shamans after BC but never really payed much attention to them. This Warlock and Shaman combination would kill us over and over and over again. We managed to get the warlock now and again but the Shaman endured! I was furious! Even though we tried to leave the game for several hours, the Shaman and Warlock were still there, hunting us. Countless of deaths later I lost what ever mind I had left! I exited the game and deleted my Rogue!

The return

Two weeks had gone by since I deleted my Rogue. I didn't want to play rogue any more, so I created my Shaman and played all up till Terokkar Forrest at level 64 and got bored and pissed of the class. My friend pointed out that it would be foolish of me to delete this one also and instead I should try something else. So I did. I changed server to get away from the negative aura of Stormscale and created a Tauren Druid on Dunemaull. A long time past and I didn't play anything but my Druid. I raided Karazhan, The Sunwell and on occasion I was taken to the Black Temple by another guild. I was a tank and not a bad one at that. I even took up PvP and I was not to be trifled with. Eventually my friend moved his Paladin to the same server. Although he was Alliance, we would run zones together and help eachother out with various quests and I would protect him from gankers wanting Alliance blood. He was not bad at PvP at all and we decided to put our skills to the test.

Just outside Shattrath City we found a small open area, hidden within the trees and away from the normal questing area, and we began to dual! Him as a Retribution/ PvP talented Paladin and me a Tank/ PvP talented Bear! Macros and all! The fight was almost endless! He would almost die, I would almost die! We had used every skill in the book and just waiting for one another to make a tiny mistake! We were both very low on health and in the same moment, the same breath we took the last punch! He swung his Sword and I swiped my claws for the last time. The brutal fight was over and we could take no more! On each of our screens we saw the fatal text "You have died!" We stared at our screens for a few moments and began to laugh, cheer and cry! We had fought for about 20 minutes and had died at the exact same time.

Our adventure didn't stop there. We both raided in all of the expansions to come but PvP stopped with the introduction of The Wrath of the Lich king. We don't play together as often more but we are still very good friends and he has a baby boy now.!
There are more to my story and I continue to play this game and I look very much forward to the return of The Legion!

I hope you enjoyed my little storysmile.png

What I'm looking forward to the most in Legion is raiding. With all the changes coming to the classes and games, it will hopefully feel like a brand new game. My favorite memory from WoW was killing Garrosh 10H after 450+ wipes all with the same 10 people

I'm most looking forward to the Emerald Dream themed raid, and while it's not an entire xpac, it's good enough for me. My fondest memory is from Cata Tier 1 raiding when my entire raid group wiped on progression Al'Akir right as we went to air phase, and i solo'd the entire air phase on my Prot Pally, was great fun

Really looking forward to the new order halls. In the past, I loved the garrisons, but it was just a little too much and spent way too much time there. Looking forward the the new scenery/uniqueness of order halls but still excited for the slight garrison feel. Also can't wait to be reunited with Dalaran

I have been playing this game on and off for the past 10 years. Legion is finally bringing a true "revamp" to most of the classes and gameplay. As someone who has mained a shaman  since Wrath I am most excited to see how the new Maelstrom system is going to play out. From the looks of it is the change the class needed to feel different and have its own true flavor. On top of that I can't wait to wield Doomhammer itself. I love the new artifact system and can't wait to see it in action

I'm most looking forward to the artifact weapons and collecting them on every class since I have all 11 at max lvl. And my favorite past memory is achieving a moderately decent rating in arena, and picking up some elite gear in season 1 of wod

I really enjoyed most of the previous content, especially raiding in zones like blackwing lair, kharazan, icecrown citadel and Hellfire Citadel. I am looking forwards to new raid content and especially class artifacts

I really looking forward to class spec differentiation, especially to classes like hunter, priest, warlock, rogue and shaman. So far all the class designs in Legion look really good cant wait.

My favorite past time in WoW has to be during Vanilla in 2006. That was an amazing time. I rolled a dwarf character and to explore and quest through Dun Morogh  and later Loch Modan was really quite the experience. It didn't matter that I wasn't playing the game right at first, but to be in Universe like Warcraft was just its own enjoyment. I really miss my noob days sometimes I wish I could get that same feeling again when I was first exploring Azeroth.

All time Favourite zone was Vanilla : Westfall, Dun Morogh and Loch Modan.

The biggest thing I'm looking forward to in Legion is a tie between the new Demon Hunter class and the artefact weapons. Demon Hunter sounds like an amazingly fun class to play, and I've heard good things. The intro quests look amazing, and I can't wait to do them. Whereas Artefacts are a brilliant idea, allowing us to use such immensely powerful weapons to help stop the Burning Legion. The customisation part is a brilliant idea too, ensuring that not all Ashbringers (for example) are the same. Looking forward to my Death Knight main getting his artefact weapon. As for my favourite moment in playing WoW, I'd probably say the moment I first reached max level. I'd started playing in Vanilla, but it took me until the Wrath Of The Lich King expansion to finally hit max level for the first time. The culmination of those 3 years or so of playing, and I finally got there.

Im actually very excited for legion on what they can pull off with all these new features, im looking forward most to the demon hunter to see how they playout and if they can be competetive in raiding and pvp environments. I started playing  just around when tbc was ending and wotlk was starting and deathknights came out which I rerolled to and as I will in legion which I will re-roll to demonhunters I enjoyed wotlk to the fullest from raiding to even pvping in some cases, the raid were not bland and boring and there was so much stuff to do (except tgt)

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
