Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm really excited for almost everything in legion. I've been up to date on everything about legion from the new Weapons to seeing which characters from the lore will be taken out. I also look forward to learning more about the demon hunters, what they went through and also with playing one. I hope to experience legion to the fullest and I personally cannot wait to see what else that Blizzard has in store for us that we don't know about

Looking forward to the Artifact system, kinda reminds me of vanilla to wrath talents. To be honest that's something I miss so will be good to see it come back (in a different way)

Looking forward to more exciting raids with interesting story, but most importantly more interaction with other players outside of raids and dungeons.

I am very much looking forward to the new PvP system in Legion.  Being on equal ground with other people and having PvP based more on skill seems like it will be much more fun, and I look forward to the rewards that we can earn with the new system

Really looking forward to all the lore to do with the artifact weapons and the nightmare. As for fondest memory, it would probably be the first time I went to Ulduar and got to walk around the titian city

I just wanted to say, since I have returned to play WoW and I found Icy-Veins, I greatly appreciate the quality of content and attention to detail. I feel like with my ambition and Icy-Veins guides I have all the tools I need to get back into the game and run Mythics without issue. I greatly respect and appreciate the work you guys do, giving us the tools to success while all we need is the determination to put them to good use. The value, integrity and character you all have to take care of the player base as well as you do and stay current takes dedication.I very much look forward to playing the Artifact quest line for the Frost DK and Holy Paladin, I have always enjoyed the DK and WoD Garrisons and the Group Finder tool has let me experience the game in new and exciting ways.Sincerely,ACiDRiFT

I started playing WoW at the end of the WOTLK expansion, so my fondest memory in World of Warcraft was experiencing the release of a new expansion. During Cataclysm I honestly wasn’t playing attention to what was happening story wise until I got on the ship to Vashj'ir with 2 of my friends, it was something about the way the game got you to Vashj’ir that pulled my attention, eventually getting into the roleplay taking place as our ship sank, taking us into one of my favorite (and moving towards my opinions on WoW) but unfortunately most forgotten zones of WoW. Given this experience and my loyalty to anything involving death or undeath (in a fantasy setting) I cannot wait to run Maw of Souls in Legion and begin cracking skulls with my Goblin Death Knight. He may be short but he will cap you! Knee cap you that is.

I'm a huge lore geek, so I can't wait to experience as many artifact questlines as I possibly can. I wanna feel what it's like to go on an epic journey to recover legendary weapons in order combat the Burning Legion. My fondest memory of WoW was definitely when I first hit level 60 back in Vanilla. It felt like such an achievement, and I could finally start raiding with my guildmates :-)

the new pvp system sounds cool, but the new transmog system is going to be amazing and save so much invo/bank space. The demon hunter class looks great, i love all the features for it. Wings, Horns, and the eyes all look amazing, and the double jump looks like ill be using it a'lot. xD The hype is real. wooot wooot

One of the things I like most about Legion is the return of class quests for all. Playing my warlock since vanilla, I got to experience class quests for all my demons to include my epic warlock class mount. Then there was the green fire quest chain, perhaps the best class quest chain to date. I also enjoy exploring every part of Àzeroth. That is why I appreciate my explorer title the most. Legion gives me a new land to explore and I cannot wait

Of all the things I'm excited for in Legion, the new Demonology Warlock, the Artifacts, the Demon Hunter, the biggest thing I'm hyped for is all of the new spell animations and reworks being brought in. First and foremost among them being the Warrior spell animations. Have you seen the new bladestorm, whirlwind and thunder clap?? If you haven't I highly suggest looking for a youtube video showing them off because I was blown away after seeing them. It was a tough decision between the animations and the new Disc priest, because atonement healing seems like it's exactly what I've been wanting for a long time, but those beautiful new spells are just too hype. I've been playing WoW since late Vanilla, and capped my warlock just before Burning Crusade dropped. I played avidly all the way through BC and Wrath and Wrath was my favorite expansion by far. Wrath also holds my fondest memory I have with the game. I was raiding with my guild on my Tank Blood DK, 10-man ICC heroic baby. We we're progressing on the Big Man himself, Arthas. My off-tank was a bear druid and I remember we we're feeling unstoppable that night. We got him down to around the 15% mark pull after pull, and marginal mistakes were the only thing keeping us from hitting that 10% sweet-spot where the kill was achieved. It was probably pull 110 overall, and everything was going perfectly. Defiles were being handled, Adds we're being taken out, and no one died to the frozen orbs of doom. We get him to about the 15% spot and my OT handling the spirits yells over vent, I'M TAKING THE ADDS, GO. And immediately heads for the edge of the spire. I taunt Arthas, and it's just me, an arcane mage and a resto druid left with Arthas at 12%. 10% Boom. Arthas hits his fury of frostmourne, and we all go down with nothing left. Vent goes crazy with the guild cheering and so hyped, that we had finally gotten him down. I will never forget that moment In my entire life. It was such an awesome achievement, and that pure feeling of joy and satisfaction that comes with killing the final boss of an expansion is not one easily matched.

I've been working on leveling a bunch of toons to 100, so I have a lot of variety to choose from when Legion comes out although I think I'm going to stick to my rogue. I'm really excited for the new artifact weapons in Legion and I'm interested in seeing how the new pvp changes are going to work.

I am probably most looking forward to (hopefully) being able to solo ToT so I can get my SPA up. It's my last one for MOP. It's always exciting when a new expansion comes out, just to see the changes, sometimes good, sometimes not lol.I would have to say one of my most exciting moments in wow was actually just recently when I completed the Have.Have We Met? chiev. I got my last two in one day. I was pretty ecstatic. I've become somewhat of an achievement junkie. Thanks for the opportunity Icy Veins and good luck to all.

World of Warcraft is without a doubt the best game ever made. My best memory was the first time i've stepped into Karazhan. Unfortunately WoW is in decline, even with the efforts of the Blizzard-team. That's the thing with Legion for me at least, it will be a come or a go. The story line we get to play looks amazing. But for now it's our guesses on how the story will unfold. I don't look forward to the class order halls, but the artifacts look amazing.  oh and druid for life <3

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
