Recommended Posts

I will show the new Class and the Druid. I will learn the Druid perfectly in Legion and will write a Guide for Balance. But only in German :-)

The main thing I look forward to in Legion apart from artifact weapons are the raids and the the fact that I can switch all 4 specs, and be whatever I have to fill in a raid/dungeon. I think its a very smart thing to do. Another thing I think I am also excited for is to see how the legendary world drop items will alter classes and specs, and how different your gameplay/rotation will be. I'd love to be in the beta to be able to pin point the class I'll main because so far, almost all classes look really fun and interesting

Really looking forward to the new class spell animations and sound effects that are being added in Legion, haven't been able to resist looking at the previews of each class and the new additions of spells. Favourite memory has to be getting promoted to Guild Raider Leader in Mists, where I was able to finally prove myself to the Guild and finally aid the progression, despite a lack of player activity from 5.4.

Absolutely love all the Class Guides that Icy Veins provides, I find they are very beneficial and I often have them open on my second monitor during Raid Time, and very much any other time I'm playing WoW. Thank You Icy Veins for such a detailed, comprehensive and resourceful website :)

I remember back in 2005 my step brother lived at home with me, my mom and my step dad. I looked up to him and I liked to watch Hindi stuff and one day I saw him playing a really cool looking game. I asked him what it was and he told me world of Warcraft. He said you had to pay per month to play and I had never heard of anything like that but I was intrigued. Because of the cost I didn't start playing myself right away, also because I didn't have a computer, but eventually he moved out and joined the army. While he was away I gave him a phone call and asked him what that game was again because I was bored and wanted to play it. He set me up with an account and I was on my way. I instantly fell in love with it and started playing a lot, so much my parents were concerned haha but whatever. I've been playing on and off ever since then and played every expansion except cataclysm. Honestly recently I've lost respect for blizzard with warlords of Draenor, but I still love the game and it's so nostalgic to me. That's why I want to try legion, I'm not giving up on WoW and honestly legion looks really cool. The artifact weapons really appeal to me because it brings more importance and fantasy to your weapon and it's something to work for. The class hall will unite many players of the same class together and we are getting back beautiful dalaran as our main city. The legion to me is the coolest enemy in Warcraft and I'm really hoping to see Sargeras this expansion. I've never been much into PvP but this new system looks really cool because you can see clear progress and I really want some of those mounts and titles. Overall this looks like a very epic and fun expansion and I'm looking forward to try it. Thank you for the beta opportunity icy veins

I really look forward to play Legion. I began as a student in university last semester so I have way more time than I had before for playing WoW. Through this I reached Gladiator-rating this season and I'm really excited about the new PvP-System. Also many classes I play will receive major changes and I would be really happy to test these before Legion goes live

I think my most favorite WoW moment ever, was when I stepped through the Dark Portal for the first time back during TBC. The moment you stepped through the portal you were hit with a brand new world, filled with new experiences and epic ambience music. The feature I'm looking forward to the most in Legion is the new PvP system. I hope that it will give more reasons to do casual PvP, something I feel has been missing since the new PvP system in TBC was introduced

What I am mostly looking forward in Legion, are the artifacts, the coming farming of legendary items and mostly the raiding. Perhaps even some PVP, I am particularly a PVE player however, with the new pvp skill tree and system I might be actually willing to give it a try. Another thing that got me really excited for this expasion are the new raids, The Emerald Nightmare and Suramar Palace. Being a druid and a night elf fan, it'll be awesome to brave this content.

I've been playing WoW since it's pre-release 3rd beta wave, so I'm an oldie.  I've met a lot of wonderful people, and made more stories than I can count.  I've dived into every little secret nook I could find, every easter egg, and every bit of lore bit that was available.  I play on a role-play server, and my character's main story started around the time of the invasion of the Legion in Warcraft 3, so to have them return in Legion is a pretty big thing for me. I also play a druid, so all of the new forms coming makes me bounce in my seat. I haven't really been a big collector of things in the game, but this is one of the few times I've really wanted to get every unlock for every skin/color variation for the Artifact Weapon, so that's an awesome aspect to look forward to.  This feels like one of the first 'Part 2' expansions as well, with the story piggybacking directly off of Draenor, which is a path I hope they continue to take. All through my time though Icy Veins has been a part of my technical side of the game, often using it's articles and resources to help expand my own know-how, and to cross check other tidbits of information so I could always remain at my best.  Going forward, I hope to keep it that way, and hope the talented article writers and awesome community continue to thrive throughout Legion, helping eachother as we go.

truly looking forward to the changes to survival hunter, finally i feel each class/spec is significantly different which makes it harder to pick and build towards mastering. Been a wow player since 05 and loved the BC period with Illidan as his the best WoW character ever and love following his story.

We started late this expansion, always playing catch-up in Highmaul, almost managed heroic Blackhand before HFC came out and we just never managed to dig ourselves out. We've got a great group now and I'm looking forward to getting those kills with my friends

I've been playing WoW since November 2005.  I've since gotten married, birthed 2 children, ran a guild, made friends and had a blast.  My guilds broke up, friends left and I still play faithfully.  My husband left wow for other games including Overwatch that I didn't get into.  It's left me behind.  I want to still love this game and I do.  I'm hoping Legion is what brings my friends back to the game so we can play like we used to.  I'm hoping Legion lives up to its hype and reignites the love and passion this legendary game once held for many people.  Maybe then I won't feel so alone in the game.  I look forward to Demon Hunters, new raids, new lands, new artifact systems and seeing where the story goes from here.

Im really looking forward to the new dungeon and raid content. Raiding/Dungeons is the main reason why I play Wow (the challenge, the social interactions, etc.) Back in BC and Wotlk, I remember all of the dungeons so vividly, and with so many fond memories. As well as the amazing raids, that I still go back to today. Im just hoping that with legion they add more than 3 raids, and they add dungeons with every new raid tier.

I am so looking forward to the Shadow Hunter. I can't wait to try this new class and I hope I can become awesome at it. The adventure mode has captured my interest also. My favorite thing from the pass has got to be the Lich King. I learned how to raid doing the Lich King so it is my favorite expansion so far. Can't wait for Legion to be here already pre ordered it so now just waiting impatiently for it

There’s so much to look forward to in legion with the new profession system, new diablo style Challenge Modes, new transmog system, new raids, legendary world drops, all zones being viable to level in from the start. The one out of those I’m most looking forward to is the new Challenge Modes, its inherently the most difficult content blizzard has ever put out because it can scale infinitely and also has the path of exile style keystones which add random variables on top of already difficult dungeons, so it’s going to be very interesting to see how they both balance it and reward it. As for memories in WoW, I’ve been playing since the start and have so many to choose from, but these are the ones that stand out for me personally.I had never heard of mmo's at all and was more a counter strike player at the time, I went to a friend’s house who happened to be doing one of the vanilla world dragons in Ashenvale and I simply couldn’t believe what i was watching. It was on a scale i had before never seen and was what originally got in me into playing WoW. Another is a battle in Undercity shortly after blizzard added the bear mount for killing all the faction leaders (and at the same time buffed them so they were ‘harder’ to kill). My server had a lot more alliance than horde, but not so much that the horde couldn’t put up a decent fight. So 3 alliance raid groups had already wiped out Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff and Silvermoon, all they had left was Undercity. Almost every single horde player that was online at the time piled into undercity and camped Varimathras and Sylvanas to make a last stand and we ended up holding out until 3am when the alliance finally gave up and left. Aside from those 2 main moments there were things like the opening of the dark portal (TBC) when blasted lands was absolutely packed with both alliance and horde just sitting around having fun with each other, Getting a realm first achievement for being the first level 80 on the server, helping create and be part of what would become a top 50 10man guild after starting from absolute scratch

The thing I'm most hyped about is the legendary world drops, it gives me a reason tho leave the class hall :P and my fondest memory in world of warcraft is when I started to raid naxx, even thought I was new the people beared with me and actually taught me what to do :3

I am looking forward to the questing in Legion. The dungeons in Legion look fun from what I've seen aswell. As for the artifact weapons i think the system is good, however having everyone with these legendary weapons takes away from the lore of them and greatly dumbs them down from what they are suppost to be!

The 40 man broken shore event seems like a alot of fun, should be interesting to see all those players in one spot reminds me of classic WoW with the 40 man raiding

I am also concerned with the class halls turning into a repeat of WoD with the garrisons, but I will keep a open mind to them until I can see them for myself

In overview currently I can not pass too much judgement till I play for myself

I'm really looking forward to the new proffesion system and proffesion quests in Legion. I really hope that alongside bringing class fantasy back, proffesion fantasy will be improved as well. I remember when i made my first Turbo-Charged Flying Machine back in TBC. Hours of grinding and searching for the khorium veins, but the reward was worth it. I'd like to see that feeling of reward come back in legion.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
