Happy 5th Anniversary Icy Veins and I look forward to many more anniversaries with you. Thanks to this site I have been able to maximize my WOW experience with the guides you've made available. I dedicated hours to studying Icy Veins guides for my Monk in Mists of Pandaria. In Legion I look forward to seeing the new content your site will cook up in my pursuit to experience all the Blizzards has created. I look forward to studying the guides on the Demon Hunter and theory crafting new Legion content. Congrats again!!!

First off, I would like to thank the contribitors to Icey Veins for their hard work they do to keep things updated. Thanks to them, when I came back from a break shortly before Cataclysm ended, I was able to pick up my hunter and continue raiding in WoD. I honestly have a hard time picking one thing that I am looking forward to, so here are a handful. These things have been a rumor since the first players started on the questline for the Ashbringer in vanilla. So, to me this has been a long time coming. Since I was never able to do that quest, since I was a hunter(hunter weapon.), I seriously look forward to getting it on my paladin alt. Plus, they are bringing back the hunter quiver, at least cosmetically. Secondly, the class revamp. Since I have played a hunter since vanilla, it has seen constant changes. From energy like a rogue, to mana, to have a deadzone, to losing said deadzone. While not always considered the best things to happen to a class, I look forward to the experience of learning a "new" class. Last but not the least, I cant wait for new pve system. The large amount of dungeons and raids that will come with release, will be a welcomed change. Also the challenge system looks really good. As far as nostalgia goes, there are a lot of things that I miss from WoWs past. I miss the time when a server was your home. Where you knew everyone and you ran into each other all the time. I started on a pvp server, and it supplied some of the greatest times I have ever had in gaming. Massive fights in Hillsbrad, and Winterspring, to ganking mote farmers at the Elemental shelf, to being ganked myself. All of which always led to huge battles. I look forward to forging, if not the same kind of memories, then new ones with the new friends I have made.

I really look forward to the possibility of the first WoW expansion I have seen since Cata that could possibly bring back the WoW community. Between the Artifact Weapons, the new Honor system, and the new dungeon system, Legion is shaping up to potentially be a real home-run.

I am really excited for Demon Hunters, I know many are disappointed about them, but that is what I am most excited for. I've always loved Demon Hunters, Illidan is my favorite lore character. I always played one in WC3 and was hoping that they would be added in BC... they didn't, but they are now and I'm pumped!

I am very excited about so many things in Legion. The overhaul of the transmog system (yay bank space.), the artifact weapons and corresponding quests (particularly for MM hunter and fire mage), the new dungeons look awesome, Dalaran becoming the main hub again will be amazing as it is my favourite city. It is these things, among many others (especially trying out demon hunters and seeing the new theory crafting) that makes me really excited for Legion to drop

The things I'm most excited about for Legion are the artifact systems and simply seeing how all the lore plays out. I can't help but hope that we fight the avatar of Sargeras or even Sargeras himself this expansion

What im looking forward in Legion, personally, would be of course the Artifact weapons and how is this really going to affect the gameplay later in the expansion, though at the same time i am a little bit worried about the whole legendary thing that's going on,(like Asmongold said, you can sit there, killing bears whole day long and get your legendaries. Legendaries should be unique items that few can have in my opinion, or work hard in order to get them, so fingers crossed on this one.) Ability pruning, boy, more and more abilities that are here since vanilla, are getting removed, it simply sucks, and honestly i really think that this should stop. Of course all the Questing experience from what i've seen so far is simply AMAZING, all of the areas and the Dungeons are simply beautiful. Now, PvP seems okay, i guess, i'm really intrested in the new Arenas/BGs they are going to add. As far as raiding goes, i know for sure Blizzard won't let us down. They are amazing on designing awesome raids, so thats pretty much it.So if i had to pick only one thing that i'm most excited for in Legion, would be the whole Lore/PvE kind of thing. One thing i miss the most, would be the social aspect of the game (Guck Farrisons. At last, one thing that i enjoyed in the past and i still enjoy at the same time today, would be, raiding/progressing with my guidies. That feeling where you get the kill on a boss for the first time with the guild is just amazing.

So I have only been playing wow for nearly a year I resisted for years I had friends telling me how amazing it was, I tried it once when it first came out and hated it. peer pressure that's what did me in so I led a charge of friends here all signing up and getting to 90. Then I got WOD sure I was behind all of you I had read the comments about the content drought but for me there isn't one Im just catching you all up. What am I looking forward to in Legion more I am looking forward to more pvp, more crafting exploring new areas beating my buddies to the new mounts. Running new content together all discovering it at the same time. Secondly think of the economy by giving me a key you will be guaranteed more sales of energy drinks and coffee hell your saving people jobs man

I am looking forward to the new system of leveling no matter in which zone you start. I enjoy leveling a lot and it is sometimes rather boring that you have to go to certain areas depending on your level. The new way to level professions looks also quite fun. Also from what I have seen so far the atmosphere of Legion is simply awesome. And as a collector I can't wait for new pets and mounts. What I have seen so far looks promising. I have to admit I wasn't quite happy with the way WoD turned out. Up to that addon I always had fun one way or the other. Right now I am bored more often than not and a lot of people I've been playing with for years stopped altogether. Would be great to get a bit of the old feeling back and hopefully some of my friends start to play anew

i am really excited about all end-game contents. I watch every legion stream and ask streamers to what i concerned. They are testing for me and i tried to send feedbacks on live. Legion expansion is going to right direction for both pve and pvp players imo. I am really glad to see that. I hope legion will release soon.

Have a great days for all WoW players.

OMG Legion is like... it's... it's like.... I'm pretty excited for it. I've played Warcraft since I was a child, my favorite character being Ogrim Doomhammer. I will never forget when Blizzard gave him an actual hammer called the Doomhammer, in the War 2 manual (which is when he was introduced as a character, but then again, I was a child and didn't put 2 and 2 together). When Thrall became Warchief and took the hammer in Warcraft 3, it really felt like he was carrying on the legacy of Doomhammer while forging a new future for his people.

That there was a track in Siege of Ogrimmar called Doomhammer also made my blood boil with excitement. When Warlords was announced, I was super excited to see Doomhammer actually realized in Warcraft.

That Doomhammer was killed by Blackhand in Warlords of Draenor caused me no amounts of grief and frustration.
But, when we were told Enhancement shamans could wield the Legendary hammer....
It's going to be fulfilling a dream of mine since childhood. I am excited for Legion.

Mostly because of the new transmog system and the artifact weapons seem like they'll be pretty cool. Also looking forward to checking out Demon Hunters.

Mostly looking forward to blizzard finally working to reduce class homogenization and give more reasons to be out in the world which will hopefully increase the amount of world pvp. Best memories are of MCing people into the lava in blackrock mountain back in vanilla with my priest, or precasting mass dispel on paladins and lining it up perfectly with their bubbles back in arena s1

My favorite features this expansion is the artifact quests, the artifact itself and the story behind all the weapons. The scaled zones and world events will be awesome too if they work out. As a long time resto druid I now look forward to test out a lot of specs again because of the overhaul of the classes and it's gonna be good. And finally, as a druid, I'm gonna be able to quest in Val'sharah and enter the Emerald Dream raid. My fondest memory of WoW has to be when our main tank back in 2006ish, after a long time of teamwork, got his Thunderfury. Granted, I was young then but it was such a nice moment. Also, great work with the site. Helped me countless of times

Truly excited for Legion! With an alt (or 2) of every class at 100, I'm hoping to be able to experience every bit of content that I can, Especially Artifact acquisition quests.

I still think my favorite thing in WoW are both from WotLK, both Deathbringer Saurfang's alliance speech and Halford Wyrmbane's speech at Wintergarde Keep.

I cant wait to try out the new demon hunter class. My most favorite memory is of playing in vanilla with all my friends ganking out in the world where there were so many people

Me and my friend are huge WoW lore freaks and Legion is bringing so much on the table. I am leveling a tauren druid and i am hugely excitet to see Val'sharah lore and begining of druidism in azeroth. And i cant even tell how much i am looking forward for Burning legion invasion and everything coming with it. Also, Azshara and naga, maybe even old gods. Even Lich king aka Bolvar is getting nervous. Overall it is something i cant wait to come and enjoy it.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
