Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm most looking forward to the artifact weapons, they all seem to have an awesome story behind them. On top of their story, they look amazing and the customization for them is awesome. Can't wait to unlock all that i can for it. I'm also a big Burning Crusade lover, so the return of Illidan is awesome and i cant wait to see what happens with that

Im very excited for the new PvP talent-tree and the complete overhaul of the existing PvP-System. I started playing WoW at the end of the 2009 while Wotlk was live back then. Back then I was highly motivated to get into raiding somehow. I worked my way up from dungeons and old raids to the moment where I first got into a raid for ICC. I really miss the old raid lockout mechanics where you had 10 and 25 man raids. In my opinion you could get a better feeling for raiding by doing 10 mans normal rather then today.

I love how legion has so many features that were made redundant in warlords looking forward to resource farming again not everyone having access to mats in their garrison  used to love teaming up with friends to farm leather and cloth in cataclysm could never really get into doing it in warlords or pandaria the artwork looks awesome aswell taking us back to the fel corruption in the burning crusade content and being a demon hunter is going to be epic, always felt like illidan was completely misunderstood, hoping he gets a good redemption story and the sacrifices he made to be able to fight the legion gets him the respect he deserves.

There's much to look forward in legion with a new class, new dungeons and raids, and an entire PvP system based on skill instead of gear. Like other expansions I can't to see what they do next to improve this game further

I always look forward to a class rework and balance. Things change with every expansion, but Blizzard always finds a way to make that work for the best. Really excited to see the changes to Windwalker Monks and Death Knights. I really just feel as if Legion is the breath of fresh air WoW needs. The class halls are going to be really cool, and let's not forget about the artifact weapons. Finally - the new PvP system! It's just going to be an amazing expansion, and you can't tell.

My favorite moments in this game are exploring - new and old content. I love learning new zones, continents, and expanding on the seemingly infinite universe comprised of WoW's lore. There's so much story, and it always gets better. My favorite moment from this game was downing The Curator in Karazhan with all of my friends. Karazhan was our first true raiding experience (got to 60 in vanilla but never really raided). For some reason, we could never beat The Curator. Late one night in the summer, we finally did. And it was amazing. Looking forward to more moments like that!

Hello, for my part I really expect much with the extension legion, I find that order hall sonts very interesting, my preference is that the shaman who is beautiful. Then I expect new class hunter who is my main character as the redesign of specialization survival, new spells etc. The new legion areas are beautiful .

finally, I think Legion is going to be a great extension.

I'm extremely excited about the Demon Hunter, as every second player out there. Been dressing my rogue up to look like one, so actually being able to play one will feel phenomenal!

Artifact weapons will also be exciting, wondering how they'll deal with having to change them in the end of the expansion to get rid of them.

I'm a lore junkie too, so every new story in this new continent seems exciting, especially with their improved storytelling of late!

Being a huge fan of Vanilla and BC, I cannot wait to see the weapons of old come forth and wreak havoc.  The mighty Ashbringer will slay demons once more.I also love that these beta giveaways aren't just "Watch this streamer 8 hours a day", so thank you for that opportunity

Outlaw Rogues and Redone Boomkin. Both look super fun and I can't wait to try them. Hopefully the new boomkin rotation is still engaging as I like the current spec but having a whole new play style will be fun and hopefully freshen up the game a bit. Also Pirate Rogues, incoming a million spellings of Jack Sparrow!

The thing I'm most looking forward to in Legion is the changes to PvP and the changes to the classes. My favorite moment in WoW I would have to say is the sense of pride when I got my first character to max level.

I'm excited about the increased roles classes will play in the storyline.

The player class has always been the primary factor that defined how the game was played (abilities, roles, armor type, etc.) but has never played any kind of role in the story. (Warlock fire, some rogue quests being rare exceptions).

I thinks it's great that the class halls seem to be putting what is essentially our most meaningful choice in the game (our class) front and center and allowing us to work as a group within that class to accomplish something great.

(Also Warrior Class Hall > other class halls).

P.S. I've used this site for class guides for a long time, but never registered for the forums. I just want to say thanks for all you do. It makes playing alts competently much easier!

I always come back to WoW, I love playing it with my mates and have lots of great memories with them whilst talking over skype. One of those memories was back in Vanilla, when everything was new and stupidly hard and slow, and I got like 10% of what was going on (I wasnt very old) playing with my brothers. My oldest brother made a rp guild, where he had lots of 'disciples' following his every whim, and we would gather under the Cathedral in Stormwind, and he would issue out orders and me and other brother would insure the lesser members would follow through, it made for some very fun and memorable moments :) I look forward to play this next Expansion Legion, as it seems they through everything they have at it, and I like a lot of the features; also, titans...

What i think is the most relevant thing about the new expansion, is the fact that we are heaving the "class immersion", wich is pretty damn cool, because i like to play a warlock demonology and feel like im really playing with demonology, you know summoning demons commanding them infusing them with dark power.

Personally, I have been following the Alpha details very closely, and while I agree and like many of the changes, I do not consider all to be good, regardless, Im pretty sure it will be far better than WoD, one of the things I will like the most will be likely the Wardrobe System.

I have tried A LOT of MMOs in the past but WoW is certainly the one Im most fond of(if not the one Im most fond of), it had it's good times and also it's bad times, but I still wanna see what will become of it and how it will change with the years, all I can really say is, like many other ppl who love WoW, I expect a lot from it

I have always enjoyed the lore behind World of Warcraft and started out by playing the warcraft series. I am most excited about the new class halls and the artifact weapons, most particularly the warlock seeing as my main is a demo lock. I cant wait to try out everything in the new expansion overall though seeing as just about everything is going to be different, some in more ways than others. Thank you!

i am most excited for the realm Suramar. after reading the chronicle book, i realized there was a ton of lore behind that zone alone and i think it might be one of the key zones of not only lore but where the final raid might take place

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
