Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

i am most excited for the zone Suramar. after reading the chronicle book, i realized there was a ton of lore behind that zone alone and i think it might be one of the key zones of not only lore but where the final raid might take place

i think my favorite part of legion will be the wardrobe. it really gets completionists to go all around azeroth and beyond to get every single appearance they can, which i've already started by having guild banks full of rare and exotic pieces

Personally, I am most excited for the class/spec reconstruction. Looks like many specs in PvP and PvE are going to be completely different and unique. Can't wait for the release. Also, the transmog/wardrobe system looks like it will be baller. Can't wait!

I started playing in vanilla wow, and I've seen plenty of people get legendary items, helped with sulfuras, and thunderfury and a bunch of glaives, I'm looking forward to having a doomhammer and it looking way cool.

What am I looking forward to in Legion you ask? Pretty much everything. How can I not be excited by Legendary Weapons, outstanding changes to the spell animations and the changes to the classes themselves. I just can't wait to level all the classes to level 110 and experience all the changes made but most of all, I am looking forward to a new tier of raiding  My fondest memory in WoW is probably defeating my first Mythic boss which was Kargath Bladefist in Highmaul. Before WoD I only used to play PvP but in this expansion I have found a new love for raiding and the rewards it brings

This has been my most successful PvE expansion, with two Mythic final bosses while they were current under my belt. Looking forwards to the same quality of raid content in legion. Been looking forward to Emerald Nightmare since Stormrage came out!

Combined with the class revamps, looking forward to toying around with all the effectively new classes and contest willing, offering extensive feedback on blizz forums to smooth out some of the rough edges before launch. :D

I'm super excited for Legion! Just recently this patch I started playing Priest, and luckily I managed to find a great raiding guild. On my old character, a hunter, I never managed to get past normal dragon soul raids. But now, I'm raiding mythic on my shadow priest biggrin.png! I'm super hyped about my new class and main, and I really want to try out the new shadow priest for myself. I've been keeping an eye on all of the different changes, new spells and new playstyles - and I'm super stoked.

Nothing would be more awesome than to actually try it out for myself though smile.png

The new challenge mode system looks really good, but it would be awesome if they would bring the 10men endgame raids. In the end you cant compete in the challenge modes if you dont have a good 20men mythic raiding spot.

I rly look forward to playing PvP trying out the new honor system and enjoying separated PvP talents. I also want to start over raiding and playing a PvE Healer again. I quitted 3 years ago but can't stop myself from playing WoW. Artifact weapons look quiete good as well, i like the idea of bringing back old talents but hope they can balance it for main and offspeccc.

In the past i got Bety keys for Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria and really enjoyes testing new Encounters. Beta realms are really fun, because u can try out every class, mess around with speccs and gear.

In terms of Addons i mostly liked BC and wotlk. They really felt "important", u had a goal, u knew why ure fighting and came to see all the places many people wanted to visit since Warcraft 3. Cataclysm, MOP and WOD didnt bring the hype to myself but i really enjoyed raiding in cata. mop and wod were a bit of a let down for me, so i hope legion will bring back the "old feeling" of a true World of Warcraft.

Legion for me is a potential new dawn for WoW. I have played since WotLk and haven't had a feeling of pure awe since then. Legion is bringing the most game changing features this game has ever seen and I hope to have the same feelings I did when I first entered the World of Warcraft. Some might say those feelings are not able to be replicated, and that is true, those memories are gone. But I'm excited to make new memories with my guild just like we did in the past. That is my fondest memory of the game and that is why I'm excited most for Legion

Most looking forward to the new profession leveling system. With all the potential content coming out, this has me more excited than most. Its the one thing in WoW that keeps me playing till the end of an expansion and the better it is gives me hope that legion will be great. My hope is that they are rare and hard to find which will make the chase all the more worthwhile. Fondest memory in wow will be me showing up drunk as hell, main tanking SoO for my then guild, no Dk has been that bad at tanking as i was and when we started Nazgrim i fell asleep after taunting. I was lucky my guild is full of people who can laugh at stuff like that.

My favorite time was most resent when my guild started back up raiding. We always had fun while still progressing. It was like a big family. I was even able to become raid leader which meant a lot to me. And I am continuly looking downed to the raids in legion as they all look so good and I know it will bring a lot more good memories to me.

Transmog is a passion I've always enjoyed. And there is absolutely no question that Transmog wardrobe is what I'm looking forward to the most. Thank the RNG gods for the space that will be forthcoming

I am looking forward to the Elemental Shaman changes, it has been one of my favorite classes since Cataclysm, but I am a little worried about how my Warlocks are going to play.  My favorite memory is from back when I first got World of Warcraft, and I was using dial up for internet, each time I got through the quests to summon a new demon.  The feeling of accomplishment was incomparable to what the game is now.  I really wish they would bring that back, or maybe just add some way to customize my demons and other pets beyond just names.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
