Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I would like to playing my priest again normally and not just borring. And tested the new holy priest artifact, cuz I played WoTLK with holy spec all the time when we progressed every heroic mode, and I really liked it, but the blizzard actually killed the holy priest mechanics and I needed to play a disc spec all the time. That's what I really like to find out on the Legion, and naturally test every class in the game. Hope the Blizzard finally made a new step into the World of Warcraft, and finally corrected every bad move what happend in the previous 2 expansion. I liked all of them, but the bests are the Vanilla, BC and WoTLK to me

I'm so excited to see how Holy Paladins and Discipline Priest are going to play. I've always been a healer and always will be a healer, can't wait to see how they are!!!

Started playing WoW back in Vanilla, leveling was a pain but it was great to see the stories lines of all the quests. What I enjoyed most was being in a social guild raiding. We always wanted people to help everyone out, which helped a lot of us when raiding because we all had to come together as a TEAM to help get a boss down. After you got that boss down it was the greatest feeling in the world.

So excited for the new expansion over all, its going to be so great!!

I'm excited for most of the expansion, but most of all I'm excited to see the changes that they make to survival hunters. It will be interesting to have a melee spec again

I would love to try the new character builds, visit the new zones and have an early look at the new profession system that comes with legion!

I think the artifacts are what interest me the most. I like the idea of having something that builds up during the expansion, as compared to the legendary ring and cloak, which just felt too grindy

I'm looking forward to the artifact system as another means of progression along with all the new models and refinements to animations for many class abilities. Let's not forget how much bag space we're going to get from that shiny new wardrobe system. Good luck to everyone entering the giveaway

The thing I'm anticipating the most is the warlock artifact weapons and the reworking of the demonology spec. Also the rogue artifacts look sick.

Really looking forward to the new Artifact system. I play a feral druid and being able to put additional customization into your character that tailor your playstyle will be awesome!

I'm really looking forward to the 5 man content. New dungeons and the re-designed challange mode.As far as good memories go, firsf getting to Dalaran in Wrath. Never had I seen so many players before. My PC could hardly handle it and it was more like a slideshow.

Im looking forward to what is hopefully the set up expansion for the biggest finale in game history. The stories and pieces they start to develop that will come to fruition in the next expansion or possibly 2 to bring to a close a wonderful story line. My hope is that it does not drag on forever just because they can. To have a cohesive story that draws itself into one penultimate moment that makes you say "Wow, that was a hell of a way to end this chapter of my life." As much as i dont want the game to end, as i have had spent a large chunk of time enjoying this game. I want it to end with a bang that leaves me satisfied, not continue on stagnant until it fades into darkness

I excited for Legion because personally I have been a wow player since the original BETA over 11 years ago.   I did take a 2 year break when cata was released.  Prior to this and after this I have been an avid player.     My main character ocukace, has 75days played at level 100, and I also have 7 other characters at level 100, with between 5 and 20 days played each.     Legion for me is really exciting, and it brings new exciting stuff to Wow.    I love the fact that my son who is now 12 years old, also plays with me, and I have even convinced my wife to join us, but she plays less often.     But for me it is a family hobby now and we all raid together in our guild. I would love to be able to show my family the new Legion prior to final release as it is soemthing we can play/test between us

As someone who loved MoP and really was not happy at all with WoD, I actually am really looking forward to Legion.  I love that we are getting a bunch of Night Elf related lore, especially with them being neglected for awhile.  the Artifact system looks great, and a nice way to keep us busy for awhile. That is all well and good, but I have one big reason to be excited.  I have played Balance since BC, was stuck as Resto before that, and absolutely love being able to shapeshift into a powerful Moonkin.  Sadly, as the years have gone by, the model has really begun to show its wear, even with the minor tweaks like being able to mount in Moonkin form.  Legion is bringing us a really nice redone Moonkin model, and being able to use the Scythe of Elune, an extremely lore important weapon, is icing on the cake.

WoW will always hold a special place to me as it is where I met my husband almost 7 years ago. From it we had a beautiful wedding in Scotland on the coast at some castle ruins inspired by our love of WoW and have a beautiful son together.  What I am most looking forward to in Legion is the artifact weapons and the awesome spells and animations that come with them. Thanks for always being a great information site for me and my WoW needs Icy Veins

I am really excited to see the new class changes. The animations look amazing thus far. I have always had lots of alts at max level and enjoyed learning how to play them all well. My fondest memories are in WOLK and playing with my friends, that I still have today, in ulduar and TOC.   Really excited to see what is next in the world of Warcraft

I cannot wait for the new challenge mode dungeons. The increasing difficulty in Diablo 3 greater rifts is amazing and I think this will add a lot of replayability to World of Warcraft

One of the best parts about world of warcraft is the huge world blizzard has put together over the past years. The best memory of Wow that I have is during vanilla, my brother was going on and on about wow and he sat me down and had me make a random orc. My brother then told me go north (I had no idea what he was up to) as I was on a shit computer I just continued running north as the fog of war (bad draw distance) cleared up to reviel the giant wall of orgrimmer. As I walked through the doorway that iconic drum beat started. I fell in love with the world at that moment. Ever sence then, every expansion I have loved running around randomly looking at this world blizzard has made. Blizz might have there ups and downs with quests, dungeons, raids, endgame but the actual world they have made is always better then the last and I am looking to see that the world of legion will look like

I am looking forward to the new warlock changes. There are a few things that worry me such as having to choose between a defensive ability or movement ability but hopefully that all works itself out before launch

I can't wait to obtain the artifact on my mage (especially the 6th skin. Some characters I really like are getting their stories developed and I want to see how it goes. I must try the new PvP system, with all this cool new gear and whatnot. And of course there will be a new pet tournament  All in all, I'm really excited. My fondest moment in WoW history has to be completing the storyline of Bloodmyst Isle. I remember the uneasy atmosphere you could feel there. I copleted the last quest alone (which was a group quest back then), had slain the female Eredar and then were greeted by every significant NPC from draenei quests. I got a tabard and felt really important. It might not seem much, but back then it was really awesome.

Definitely looking forward to playing a Demon Hunter. I've wanted to play one since I first saw Illidan.  The artifact weapons look like they're shaping up to be one of the coolest features yet. And the new challenge mode system looks like something that'll actually keep me playing even after the raid content dries out

Honestly, I'm looking forward to playing a Demon Hunter with my husband. There's not much that we actually do together besides playing WoW. Not to mention that demon's and the such have been a sort of obsession of mine since I can remember. I mean it's great to play my Warlock, I love her. But a Demon Hunter just sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. I hope it's at least a little similar to what I grew up reading about them. Even if it's not, just to be able to play Demon Hunter's with my husband is going to be a lot of fun for me.One of my fondest memories of playing WoW was when I first started playing back in high school. I was playing with my brother and a friend of his and it was the first time I ever went to Goldshire and went into the Lion's Pride Inn. Because it was my first time I decided to explore every room and when I went into the kitchen I found the Butcher. I was so excited to find a Butcher instead of Cook or Chef or something of the like that I shouted out loud, "Hey Look, A Butcher." My brother and his friend just started laughing. It wasn't until the next day that I realized they were laughing AT me, but it didn't bother me because I was still pretty stoked about finding the Butcher

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
