Recommended Posts

Hey there, I really want to try out the new dungeons in Legion. Let's hope that it will not be a total disaster like WOD. The Eye of Azshara will be an awesome dungeeeeeeoooonn. On the other hand the class order halls are nicely done ( Blizz don't let us down again just like the Garrisons. Finally the artifacts. fingers crossed to work) and the new PVP system (Hell yeah.

But there's not just one thing I'm excited about. I can't wait to make a demon hunter, I can't wait to find out more about what's happened to Vol'jin and Varian and what kind of king Anduin is going to be. I can't wait to start the artifact quests and try the new Rogue spec. I feel like a five-year old at Christmas. (Besides, I NEED a beta key so I can tease and taunt my kid with it

I first started playing World of Warcraft with the release of WotLK. For months I would visit my brother and find him playing Warcraft during BC prior to the WotLK release, and it was there I 1st learned of the Death Knight being added with its expansion, etc. The lore, gameplay and the dream bubble that formed over my head every time I saw the game being played or talked about was the final straw. With the amount of dreaming I did about Warcraft before even making an account sealed the deal my fait was written. So what am I looking most forward to Legion.the new Demon Hunter, the lore, plots and twists, exploration and being a noob again until I get to experience everything that is Legion and can get to that point where I can help others and answer some of their questions. Currently with every class maxed and having a little taste of all current classes I eagerly await my chance to experiencing and maxing my 1st Demon Hunter.I am looking forward to it ALL.

In light of all the negative some I'm actually really excited. I feel like this is the expansion for me. Personally I love the idea of the Demon Hunter class being really mobile as I love mobile classes. I'm also really excited for the challenge mode recap and of course the artifact system. I'm really excited to run around with my very own Ashbringer or Frostmourne. I'm also really excited about the legendary item system will be more like in Diablo because the current system is just sooooo boring. I don't want to have to do a 8 week questline to get one item, that is just silly. The best part of Legion might have to be the lore tho, Sargeras, Titans, the old gods The burning legion, I pretty much love every single bit of what this expansion is going to look like and ofcourse, ILLIDAN IS RETURNING

I really look forward to the artifact system, adding new flavour to the classes. I also look forward to the new animations for the specs, both melee and ranged, together with all the various new graphical upates. The fact that WoW: Legion is going to look like a game should in 2016 makes me very excited. As for something I enjoyed about WoW in the past: I really miss the kind of community that the realms had back in the days. Having to actually seek out other people in order to accomplish even the most mundane of tasks was annoying, but it helped actually having that MMO-feel to the game. In all honesty I whouldn´t play the game like that again if I got the opputunity, but it´s still a fond memory of mine

So many. MANY things to look forward to.  First off, DEMON HUNTERS - Illidan. Warglaives. Double Jump. Just please,                                                  take my money, take my time, you win WoW. You win. Secondaly, New animations. - Show us your moves. The new fury warrior animations and the new windwalker make me all giddy, almost as much as Demon Hunters. Next, PVP rework. - SWEET Next, Artifact Weapons: Make me feel stronk Just too much to talk about. I'm so bleeping excited.

I'm most excited for demon hunters--I haven't been this excited about wow since they announced the first hero class (death knights) were going to be released with WotLK! I really hope they do a good job. Personally, I think WoW has been struggling and a lot of hope has been invested in this expansion pack. I hope there are some cool invasions of the capital cities and that they do a good job having the legion swarm through Azeroth (it's supposed to be the biggest legion invasion ever).

My fondest memory in WoW was probably when I first got into Outland in BC.

It was such a mysterious place I had heard so much about, walking through that portal and seeing the flying rocks and the scattered land of hellfire really was one of the most impressive moments I experienced in wow.

I was so excited that when I finally got to outland, instead of questing, I actually just ran around outland on my 60% mount just to explore this new world.

In legion I'm definitely excited to play a demon hunter, since I've been kinda wanting to play them ever since I saw them on top of the black temple. (Fun fact: that's the spot where I dinged to lvl 70 for the very first time.)

I'm also excited to see what the new honor system is like, as I really enjoy PvP aswell!

Well, somehow i always get hyped for new expansions but after cata, mop and wod i got disapointments. Never stopped playing wow so far while my friends did even if i got bored so much. This expansion made me hype sooooo much. This expansion is huge. Three things got my hearth. First of all artifact system. I am retri pala so ASHBRINGEER. 2-3 months ago i made an article that i wanted corrupted ashbringer on battle. Second new pvp system. I didn't understand quite well this system. What will happen to conquest gear? Will it all be strongboxes ? So as far as i understood there is a chace to get the same item always. Well anyway it is better than current system. Lastly i loved transmog system. I loved it in diablo and it is even better in wow. Of course other system seems good but time will time everything. So i am really hyped at the moment. Hope i will have a chance to test it in beta. So sorry readers for my bad grammar ((

I've been considering registering for this forum anyway, since I'm finding their guides to classes very helpful so this giveaway was the final incentive. I'm very new to WoW, having only started last July with a generous gift from my daughter. She's been playing since the beginning and knew I'd enjoy the game. Well, she was completely right. Asking me to talk about what I've enjoyed about WoW in the past makes me chuckle, since everything is currently new for me. There is such a wide range of choices to make in daily play that it's hard to narrow down to something short enough to be appropriate to post. You really don't want me to put everything down that I've been enjoying. However, let's start with professions. One of the arguments that my daughter used to finally convince me to start was crafting professions. This is something I've very much enjoyed in certain console games. WoW does a nice job with them, though there are certain factors I think could stand improvement. Still, I am enjoying them a lot. I didn't know about these before I started and initially thought them not likely to interest me but I've changed my mind entirely. There are days I log in and that's all I work on now. I've got to add a plug for my guild too. The folks at Relentless Heroes have been wonderful at helping me learn all the ins and outs of the game. They're even the ones who told me about Icy Veins. Playing with a good group of buddies makes the game more enjoyable and certainly helps me learn more of what I'm doing. I've seen quite a bit of discussion on various forums about how "Blizzard ruined the game by ." - whatever expansion or change Blizzard's made in the years WoW has been around that whoever posted didn't enjoy. I can't support that viewpoint. Maybe if I'd been here before whatever change was made that upset people I'd feel differently but the game feels balanced, detailed, rich in content and a whole lot of fun. I'd say they got a whole lot right about it. What I'm looking forward to in Legion is an expansion of what is already great about WoW. The depth of detail in the game is really good and I fully expect that depth of detail to continue and expand. The artifact gear looks interesting. I'm not really into PvP at this point but the additions to PvE look intriguing. I'm hoping I can save up enough spare change to get in on the fun before long.

I was at first put off a bit that they completely removed the pet but it looks like they have added it back after some consideration. As somebody that plays a lot of twinks I will have to spend a lot of time leveling my artifact weapons. Once Legion is out I will be visiting Icy veins a lot more as its my go to site for class guides.Keep up the great work

I absolutely love that they're bring class fantasy back to the game. This is something that has been bothering me for a very long time, as I felt that the game has lost its fantasy when it came to each class. It was more just a play style for the same bread and butter abilities. Legion is going to be a BIG deal for WoW!

Man where do I begin? I am so freaking pumped for Legion. First and foremost, Demon Hunters. I loved the Illidan fight in Black Temple, he was such a badass and even the trailer for BC still rings in my mind as one of the best. Are not prepared. It was this holy smoke moment, it literally took ages to attune and get ready for that fight, all the while the anticipation building and it did not dissapoint. He was so damn cool. I was lucky enough to get a main hand glaive on my fury warrior, my first ever legendary, I couldnt believe my luck haha, we had a group of 5 melee and 4 of us had at least with 1 glaive and together we journeyed in to sunwell to take on Kil'jaeden. It was epic. And now, years on. They release the trailer for Legion and I see Demon Hunters, I nerdgasm on the spot. Holy smoke, I was hooked harder then Ive been for wow in years. They look so freaking cool. So many awesome abilities, they can double jump. Thats huge hahaha. Epic transformation with insane damage and mobility, eye beams and stomps, man even the tank gets some absolutely kickass abilities. Aoe Grip, aoe silene, aoe dmg all from their runes, their lvl 46 pvp talent basically turns you into Darth Vader. You're able to pick some one up in the air, then throw them across the room to slam down on the ground. You could pick up a healer in battlegrounds and then throw them into your blender of melee and pets hahaha. Decimating them. So pumped for that too. And the havoc abilities, the movement, so damn quick, gliding to safety anytime you jump off a cliff. Then finish it off with that badass aoe damage stomp. Just epic. And then artifacts. Ashbringer. Doomhammer. Those two alone sold me on the idea. And then when I saw the different variations, and each spec has a different one with its own history and abilities. Druids getting epic new appearance, completely awesome. Frost Death knights being able to summon Sindragosa.? How insane is that.? I'm a bit of an altoholic haha. Firemages becoming like Kaelthas, firey orbs sitting on your shoulder throwing pyroblast after pyrobast. Fury warriors, in fact almost every class Ive looked at so far, is getting visual updates to so many of their abilities weve had for ages. Charge got an epic shoulder bash that looks utter badass. So many absolutely awesome looking moves too, a dual wielding double strike with both blades, and a triple attack that just does damage. Can you tell I've been watching everything and anything I can about Legion? I am so so keen for this game. I want to get into the alpha or beta and learn everything I can so when the game finally does drop, I can go beast mode and kick ass harder then I ever have, my sister, a few mates and I have been preparing for months already, farming gold, learning the lore leading up to current events, working towards the challenge modes which unlock account wide with a token thanks to the new transmog system, another very cool feature. Not to mention the lore of this expansion is going to be incredible I'm pretty sure, we are taking on the Burning Legion, we know how to kill them now. Sargeras is a former titan, that fight is going to be insane. We will finally get to take on Guldan and make him pay for every vile act he has done. Man so many awesome things, even the dungeons look awesome and the new models to match, the Vyrkul King looks like a total badass, and the new quest dialog boxes of characters actually talking to us to give us the story instead of just skipping the text and doing the objectives, that is going to get so many people way more into the lore of WoW then ever before. I am so so keen for this and so very hopeful to get into the Alpha or Beta, try everything I can and then come out roaring when the expansion hits. If you made it to the end of this, thank you very much haha. Legion is going to be freaking epic. Legendary even hehehe. Can't wait to share the experience with some awesome people.grin emoticon Cheers - Ozijak

I'm an altaholic and this is where I check to see how a spec I'm new to plays and what stats to look for.  Two of my favorite memories happened during TBC.  The guild I was in had not got a new progression kill in 3 months and we lost most of the raid team.  Those of us that stuck it out rebuilt and finished T6 in a couple of weeks.  Then there was the night we killed Archimonde in Hyjal for the first time.  I hated all the screaming in my ears when a tough boss went down.  We got Archimonde down to 10% and people started to lose it and I just yelled for everyone to stfu.  It was the first time I really raised my voice at our raiders and someone made a recording of it and it became a joke on our forums. I'm really hoping to get test the alpha/beta not only because enhance (my main) has had so many changes but to also see the lore of the zones so I don't feel torn between reading quests and getting to level cap to get geared for raids.  Also being able to leave feedback on the alpha forums would be nice instead of just being able to read them.

There is alot of promising stuff coming with Legion. But the best feature added so far in WoW was Transmogrification, and Legion will bring this Feature to a new Level.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how they have changed how moonkin plays. It seems that every Xpac they change it substantially. It's in a pretty good place just now, I'm hoping we don't return to hitting like a limp pillow

I'm really excited about the hunter changes and I hope that they can deliver three different specs. Been playing since early 2005 and I've never really mained a hunter but have always played one as an alt. I remember all the melee skills back in the days and can't wait to try a "real" melee speced hunter. And ofc, cannot be more excited about the wardrobe, my bank has been filled to the brim since cataclysm

it has to be the pvp changes, which I think everyone would agree is going to make pvp absolutely nuts. I really cant wait to get into some bg's and just see everyone going crazy (i actually cant wait which is why i'm writing this), plus the dalaran sewers, which also looks like the kind of place that i would spend most of my time in back in BC, i never managed to finish the black temple, which was one of the best wow raids ever, and so now illidans back, I think i owe him one

Looking forward for PVP. I play a lot of hours in classic and my greatest memorie is the opening event from Ahn Qiraj.. this was my biggest Moment in World of Warcraft. I never got this feeling again. There wa so much player on one point of this Map. All wanted to kill this big boss and i got with my best friend frozen screens because there was to much effects:D. We need to wait more than 30min to move again. I think this game so great and its a part of my life. I got so much moments there and for that i want thank blizzard.

I am a complete lore junkie, Just read the Chronicles vol.1 and cannot wait to see the tomb of Sargeras. Also looking forward to the pre launch event which was stated to be similar to the scourge event for WoTLK. I really enjoyed the argent tournament back in WoTLK and hope we can get an awesome daily hub during legion

Definitely most excited for the updated melee animations and in combination with that the Artifact weapons. Seems to give melees the unique feel back i have been missing for quite some time. But if i have to pick one i will most likely pick the first time in SSC. We had just found enough people to go in and I remember how excited we were when we took the second elevator and saw the whole area for the first time.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
