Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

For what I've see and read about in legion I'm really looking forward to the Transmog changes to clear out my full bank/void storage and also all the new zone quests/artifact quest. As for my favourite WoW moment has to be back in Wrath of the Lich King when a mate and I were levelling DK's in Hellfire Peninsula on top of Hellfire Citadel. A Shadow Priest mind controlled me and jumped me off the citadel, my mate Death gripped my mind controlled body back on and we proceeded to kill the priest

I can't help but see just how many people are saying how Legion is going to be bad like WoD. Personally I really liked WoD, probably because all I do is raid and do old content for mounts which not having much to do in a way kind of helped me get caught up since I was able to get exalted with a bunch of reps I guess in a way that is a bad thing though... I personally am pretty excited for legion I simply can't wait for it to come mainly because i'm actually running out of things to do. Only thing I'm not excite for is ret pally changes :p

My favorite thing about wow has always been playing with my best friends. It didn't last long, but for a couple weeks we quest ed together and ran old dungeon content. I started with cata so never got to experience tbc in its time

As weird as it sounds, but I am really looking forward to the wardrobe function. To have all transmog-stuff in one place is just aweseome.Furthermore I really like the idea of scalable leveling areas. Linear leveling might be nice if you only have one char to level, but I do have six and after the second time through WoD I got bored real quick. So being able to start leveling each char in another area sounds quite interesting. It might not be the holy grail, but it will at least keep it interesting enough for me to level all my six chars to level 110. But above the above mentioned I am looking forward to new content. After all, I´m a sucker for content

Hearing that N'zoth is an new Old God that would make it's presence in Legion made my day. Unfortunately the way they announced him (through Hearthstone) was kinda underwhelming, but I'm glad nonetheless. I hope to see more lore on Old Gods, it is a marvelous and cool thing in WoW that I believe many of us find fascinating. :-)

I am most looking forward to my mage artifact weapon, and the hope that fire with be fun to play again. My best WoW memory is when I finally received my Branch of Nordarssil. I began raiding in Cata and instantly fell in love with it. Getting the branch was the peak of my early raiding experience. It felt so special to have all those blue dragons flying over Stormwind just for me

what am I looking forward to most in Legion? (Wait for it.   Every other race has the hunter class option, but not gnomes. It's racist I say. And mechanical pets? What else would the "tinkers" have? This is going to be awesome. (And yes, I am a proud "huntard" with my worgan. It's an awesome, but much hated class.)

I'm very excited for the artifact quest lines.  I've been trying my best to avoid any spoilers for these.  I think they have great potential to explore very interesting lore for each spec

A lot of things have me excited in Legion, mainly the Demon Hunter Class, the Artifact System, and furthering the stories started in Warlords of Draenor.  By far my fondest memory was the pull rotation on Nefarian that was put in place on our server back in Vanilla, in order to prevent the server from crashing. After that, the black temple is one of the raids i've enjoyed the most, and i can't wait to see what happens next

I'm really looking forward to the Prestige system for PVP. As I do a lot of unrated PVP it will be nice and refreshing change to be able to work towards cool titles, mounts and new artifact looks for doing unrated stuff.

I am really looking forward to the way they are re-doing my spec (brewmaster monk), hoping that we find ourselves closer to our roots as an avoidance tank rather than the self-healing/absorb tank we are right now. I am also really interested in seeing all of the class and spec-specific content they're making for the artifacts and how the world scaling works. The dungeon previous I've seen so far also look fantastic and I'm really excited to see the new content

Seeing what they have done to the game so far is making it look new and refreshed and gonna bring that good feeling again I had playing in the past. One of my favorite memories was when my friends I met through the game were farming everyday for the Ravens lord mount and I went in there on my dk and got it on my first run

I'm mostly looking forward to see the new dungeons, I always liked this part of the game. Just hope they don't mess up tanking too much.
I have a lots of great memory from Warcraft, but if I have to choose, I would say meeting my girlfriend/best friend there, it had the biggest impact on my life.

Happy Anniversary Icy Veins! Every time I need to check some tactics, I come to here, thanks for all the work!

What I'm really looking forward to in this expansion is the way that they're making classes have stronger class fantasy, like what they are doing with the Order halls and artifact weapons.

Another thing that I'm really looking forward to is the new honor system. I really like that you get cosmetic stuff when you get a new prestige.

What I'm mostly looking forward to though is all the new zones and raids. I like that finally take down Gul'dan after he's been such a pain to us on Draenor and I'm also looking forward to seeing what the final boss of this expansion is.

It feels so epic, illidan's return and the burning legion. I'm don't totally agree artifacts concept. Thousands players wielding the same weapon but the classe quests to get them seems epic. In 10+ years of wow, this expansions seems one of the mostra promising

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
