Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm really looking forward to the class-specific things that they're going to add, I've always liked the idea of each and every player having their own special traits that made them vital to a raid, and not just buffs and certain abilities, or making sure loot doesn't go to waste, but the fact that so many different people with different playstyles and views on how the game should be played could come together and achieve great things while still having fun.

The game's changed a lot, but I stil get that feel of cozyness while just sitting around talking to people (waiting for who-knows-what we could do together later).

And, of course, after all these years, I can now double-jump around like an idiot when I don't know what to do.

I really look forward for the new art within the game, I love night elves and what I have seen so far looks beautiful! I enjoy the game so much, and have been playing since bc. Tho everytime a new expansion comes out, I find out that the zones I like most is the once where the art is the best.

Well, WoD has been a pretty great dissapointment for me, I do expect Legion to be better, nevertheless I do not expect it to be the Grand Expansion to beat all others, but I'm really excited about Artifact weapons, the idea of wielding the mighty weapons that heroes of Azeroth used to save our world or the arms of destruction that our enemies attempted to use to destroy us is just too tempting. The Class Hall (If boundless to faction) could be such a great adition to the social network of WoW, revamped Dalaran sounds just great. And of course The Broken Isle, an area we only got a glimpse of in Warcraft 3 campaign is finnaly here, long speculated and searched for as easter egg by the community, we have found it and in a big manner. The idea of finnaly facing a challange to defeat us is very good, and the setting can let way for so many possibilities for the future. I can not pronounce myself for the Demon Hunter class, as a due to my own reasons I'm skeptical towards it and it's limitations. The new animations are also a wonderful up point. Can say it might be good (The main reason I also want to see it sooner so I may convince myself of it), so maybe we will soon have a renewal of WoW's playerbase and refreshment toward such an old and legendary game.

On my 10th year in World of Warcraft I've been a huge fan of both illidian and Arthas.  Now that they are bringing Demon hunters as a class gives me goosebumps.  Other than that we finally got a new combat animation where when we actually hit a monster or a player it looks and sounds like we are hitting them :).  I expect Legion to be the best expansion I hope blizzard don't fail us.

I am really excited for shadow priest rework, although I will still main Disc. Oh and the challenge dungeons sound really interesting.

As for my fondest memory it must be getting level 80 on my Warrior back in WotLK. It was my first character and I sticked to it until MoP.

I am really excited for the artifact weapons, but also the new dungeons, which seems more fun than those from WoD. Furthermore the pruning is just my cup of tea, seeing spells being removed, but I am staying positive, and hoping for the best of the game. I am definitely going to play pala or druid through Legion, looking forward to it. I will be ready at launch, but I wont hesitate to max level. :D

Well I am looking for the Rogue class I really like what they are doing with them. In the past I think the best thing they did was the talent system change.

I've been playin wow for quite some time, late TBC. And some time ago i decided to give up on private servers to have a chance to feel the real retail experiance. I have always been a PVE player but now im looking forward to the changes done in the PVP in Legion, and not only. I cant wait to see how everything will turn out, what will Gul'dan do, will we manage to stop Sargeras? Are the old gods going to intervene? Also the artifacts seem to be really intresting and I cant wait to do the quest lines, hope they will be as good as the green fire for the Warlock.

All in all, I cant wait for the new expansion to come out, hope they did a better job than the previous one!

Like a lot of people I really look forward to the legendary weapons, and also being a demonhunter. I Started in vanilla, but for me the best time was WotLK, where it all felt like I was part of something bigger.

I am very excited and cannot wait until Legion Beta or Legion itself comes out. I for one am excited because of the new content, I will admit over the last year, I was limited on what I could do because of the fact my PC was old, but just got done building a new one that will not glitch when it wants to. Now I am back into it all. I am loving the fact that they will be introducing the artifact weapons and revamping the PvP system and man I do love to PvP. I am excited as well for more lore in the game as I do have my Loremaster title one of my bigger achieves in the game. One thing I am hoping Blizz will fix, when MoP came out, I remember starting out when it came out and I remember going to a rare and got my rear handed to me and I loved it! I remember having to grind a lot and loved that too. When WoD came out, first time I went against a rare, I was like "Really that was it?". Also, when I began to play WoD, I did not seem like it took very long to level my main and again "thinking that was it?". Yes there was all the dungeons and PvP content, but I think I was bummed I guess you could say. But another chapter awaits, so let's see how it goes, I am being optimistic and I cannot wait for the artifact weapons, new class, and new PvP system. See you in game!

I am looking foward to advance in Illidan's history. He was always my favorited character. I remember when I first time played Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne, and fight Arthas vs Illidan. I was sure Illidan was killed, and then Burning Legion came out - and he was "killed" again. So this time I hope we will not kill him!! I can't wait to explore new islands as demon hunter. I really want to know how story will progress, what will happend with Anduin, Burning Legion, Illidan, Bolvar/Lich King, N'zoth, Azshara and Emerald Nightmare.

I am mostly looking forward for the artifact weapons because I think it's pretty nice to have a weapon that is leveling and I would love to have a look at them myself.

And I also like to see the changes they'll make to some classes i. e. enhancement shaman! Really looking forward to that!

And I really enjoyed the raids and heroic/mythic dungeons so I am also looking forward to this. And then there is also the lore which I really love in World of Warcraft / Warcraft in general... Damn there is so much I am looking forward too :O

Really hyped myself :D

a lot of new features are coming, Artifact weapons, scaling zones, class reworks etc etc, but i'm really interested in where the story is going, and i'm really looking forward to begin the questing.

My fondest memory in wow was doing transmog run with my buddies late at night, during cataclysm. We ran all of the vanilla and Bc raids, i think we all made about 5k+ gold each too, it was my first time seeing these old raids too, so it was so much fun. WoW is best played with friends for sure.

Oh, and the new animations in leagion..They're soooo sick!

Since the days of W3 and Black Citadel, I've been waiting for Illidan to come back. Not sure if he's going to be the killed or not(hope not), but seeing him in action will always bring be back to Warcraft universe. There are other things I'm looking forward to, but Illidan is No.1

My son, a terrible darkness has returned to our world. As before, it seeks to annihilate everything that we hold dear. I go to face it, knowing that I may not return. All my life I have lived by the sword. I’ve seen kingdoms burn, and watched brave heroes die in vain. It’s been difficult for me to trust after losing so much. But from you I have learned patience, tolerance and faith.Anduin, I now believe as you do, that peace is the noblest aspiration. But to preserve it, you must be willing to fight! FOR AZEROTH!

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
