Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I am exited about Legion because of artifact weapons, new mounts, new animations, and returning of Dalaran. In legion one of the coolest things are raids and new maps that's why i'm looking forward. Me and brother playing 5 years and we think this will be the best expansion ever.

I am really hyped for Legion. I believe this expansion has what it takes to be one of the best. I am looking forward to artifact weapon system as well as the big battle against Legion.

I'm really looking forward to the lore in legion. Quest-lines and the new artifact system should do the job. Also I want to see the encounters ingame

Maybe this is silly but the 1most thing I'm hyped for from legion is the new animation for each spec. And it will probably feel like a new fresh experience playing wow

Demon Hunter!

I mean it. In Reign of Chaos there are two chapters, if I remember correctly, in which you play as Illidan and they are among the best I can think of. And the gameplay footage I've seen covering this new class... Awesome! Oh, I feel a bit... bad for them rogues out there.

Really looking forward to the class halls and the follower system from WoD translates into this newer system in Legion.I really hope that the overhaul of several classes will make them enjoyable to play again. Demonology Warlock was so gutted by the end of WoD that I'm fairly excited about the amount of demons a warlock will be able to summon in Legion

Definitely looking forward to trying the Demon Hunters, though I'll most likely reach the end-game with my Paladin first. Why? Because PvP is where it's at, and from everything I've read about Legion, PvP is going to become even more amazing!

I regret to say that the only things I really appreciated of the previous expansions was the fact that the new races (or if they're DKs) had their own unique intro level that was completely different than anything before MoP + the occasional dungeon/raid. Though, that's probably because I'm nostalgic of the time before WoW character progression got "streamlined" and I needed 30 levels to get a skill that dealt about 10% of the damage of the skill I've had since level 1. Looking at you, Shamans.

Seriously, my fondest experience of WoW is before TBC when I'd just spend my weekends on my level 51 wizard with maxed fishing, always competing in the Booty Bay fishing contest despite the fact that I was playing on a PvP server and everyone was constantly trying to kill the fishers.

I still won a couple of times.

Really looking forward to all the new animations and effects in Legion. And my fondest memory of playing WoW has to be the time I first got to 2000 arena rating in 3v3 in MoP with irl friends

I am looking forward to the artifact weapons in Legion. I think it's great that we are being given another patch of character progression other than talents (which don't require any effort other than getting to a certain level) and gear, not to mention the skins, which make you look cooler the more you achieve in game :).

My fondest memory of all times is doing the hunter quest in Vanilla, the one that awarded Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers. I remember camping the spots, where the demons were, teaming up with opposite faction's warlocks to try and kill the SIlithus one, I remember the thrill when I found a demon, the focus when I was fighting one and the happiness when I managed to down them. I wish there were more quests like this, challenging and time consuming, rewarding amazing and unique rewards.

Every time something new pops up about Legion I get more and more pumped, but nothing has me more excited than the changes to fury warrior's. Fury's really shaping up to be everything I want from the spec, from the new/revamped abilities to the artifact traits and the talents, everything looks like it will mesh together phenomenally and I can't wait to see just what can be done with them (I also can't wait to see how high I can stack the execute stacking damage buff). As to my favorite moment it has to be when I was introduced to the game by my best friend, and upon hitting 90 as soon as I did my first flex raid he told me to use symbiosis on him to get leap of faith and immediately showed me how to kill our raid members (mainly the poor GM) using the mines on the beachhead before Galakras in SoO. I'm hoping they add more little fun environmental hazards like that so we can revive guild bounties

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
