I just came back 3 months ago to World of Warcraft after a 3 year break.During this expansion I enjoyed and am still enjoying a lot of things like mythic dungeons, the "new" Raids like HFC, HM and BRF. I even enjoy Ashran sometimes (when my team is actually playing as a team, and not everyone doing their own stuff). I am not able to enumerate all the points I am looking for to see in Legion.The new class halls is absolutely amazing. I am a main rogue player and I am really eager to see by myself how this class halls will be. I am super excited about the new class changes they made, especially to the rogue, even though I kinda dislike what they've done to the combat specc.I was never a big pvp player, but this new pvp ranking system makes me more and more interested in this direction.Another point is the absolutely amazing demon hunter class.I am so 100% sure that I will main this class untill I am the best. I saw a lot of youtube videos by Legion Alpha testers about the demon hunter. The animations are awesome and the gameplay looks so cool and extensive.I dont want to write a book, so this should be it for now.Hope I can win a beta key to be one of the happy people how have the privilege to try out the game before others. I would use my knowledge to become better and better and when I feel I achieved my goals, I will help people to achieve what I achieved. This is the end.

Time for a honest reply. - damn I love green!

After a random post which was supposed to make me feel like Chuck Norris is about to pinpoint my name on the list of people who are getting beta keys, I feel like it's time to write about how I honestly feel about WoW and this forum.

 

First of all, I have a confession to make! If it wasn't for Facebook and WoW page there ( let's not forget the beta key ), I'd never even make an forum account here.

I came across Icy Veins a few times so far, mostly while searching for a last-minute boss tactics, and yes, it's been useful while finding my rotation, heirloom list and a handful of other things this page pops up for when you google them. Still, I have no idea what this place really is for so can anyone just tell me, please?

 

I play WoW, at least retail one, since the beginning of MoP. Let's face it, this game is a state of art; music, picturesque landscapes and all dem badass bosses, it all took a group of artists to make. I really appreciate the effort put in all of it ( by buying gametime ofc ), but I've still expected more for my money. I've expected something like, hmm, LEGION. 

Speaking of Legion, my expectations are really high and I am kindaa scared that I will be disappointed. The class I've been waiting on since I first played WoW is coming out and I am looking forward to competing for a main tank spot in my guild. ( 13/13M - god bless +10ilvl upgrades ) and I wasn't joking when I said that I'd give a kidney for a beta key, or was I? :) I'm going to be really honest here, the only reason why I am writing this is because I want the key.
 

I went all out and spent about 211k raw gold on heirlooms few days ago. I'm lvling every class, every race and I am going to have every spec once Legion is out. What I am looking forward the most are artifact weapons, and even more the storyline that every class, spec is going to get. I am 99.99% sure that I am going to lvl slower than Swifty, please go watch him play a demon hunter on blizzcon.

 

What I love the most about WoW are landscapes, lore, end-game raids and my biggest love, PvP. I suck at PvP, but I'll just blame it on lag and lack of time for now. ( Can someone help me go past 2k breakpoint? ~1980ish CR ). My best moment in this game was announcement of playable Demon Hunters in Legion, and since that day I'm dreaming of maining one. 

I also like to feel useful, so if I ever get a beta key ( which I won't get, it ain't my luck ), I would make sure to try out everything there is and leave a feedback.

 

Let's not forget that I'm playing a frost DK right now, for 2 weeks now, so ice is in my veins also!

As a Vanilla player I am really looking forward to the reintroduction of the crafting system lost in WoD (imo).  But most of all I think I am really excited about levelling through what, so far, looks like is an awesome expansion with my guildies

Looking forward to Legion. I think Blizzard has learned from some of its mistakes with Warlords of Draenor. There wasn't enough content to keep players satisfied, and there was little reason to do 5-mans since a few hours in Ashran could get you better gear. It sounds like Blizzard is putting more emphasis on 5-man dungeon content, which is great. 

 

I am interested to see what players reactions will be to the class halls. Initially when they were announced it seemed like they would be a shared instance amongst players of that class, but based on alpha content I'm not sure if that's the case as opposed to it being just for yourself.

 

The story/lore thats being presented seems much stronger in Legion. Clearly something is going on with Sylvanas, and the return of Alleria probably has some tie-in. I've also read that Karazhan might make a come-back, which given many players are nostalgic about, can only be a positive. 

 

All in all, one of the more promising expansions. Here's hoping I win a beta key.

About WOW and Legion...

 

Hope the new PVP system will work and bring old and new pvp players back in the game. And new class is really nice touch too but PVP is what make me happy about new expansion.

I'm really excited to get into legion to see the improves of the warlocks and death Knights. I really think and hope that legion is going to save wow. The dungeons, the artifact and pvp system look so much amazing. Blizzard really had a great idea to change the animations for the Warriors, dks, rogues . For the past years I used to play an affliction warlock (Pvp). Warlords of Dreanor really did fail with the pvp community unfortunately. So that's why I really want to see what legion has to offer us

Bringing back the class fantasy is a great idea, connecting more with 1 character interests me moar (i am the guy who doesnt like to play with alts.)

 

With Blizzard pushes itself to improve story telling, i am excited to make all questlines as Horde to get deeper understanding of the lore.

What I am looking forward to most in Legion is having more world pve content than previous expansions due to no longer having time to commit to organised raiding. I also cannot wait for Artifact weapons, having gone through the entire Firelands patch without a weapon drop, this can only be a good thing!

My fondest memory of WoW is defeating Algalon for the first time in my 10-person raiding guild. That victory stays with me to this day, and was well worth all the tears I fed him in the preceding weeks!

I am probably way too excited for the Demon Hunter class.  I first played as one in WarCraft III and was in love with the lore and purpose of these hero's.  When World of Warcraft was released, I was very disappointed that they were not included as a playable class within the initial launch. I decided to play a Hunter and have been for the last nine years.  I almost lost all hope about them being added until I found Loramus Thailpedes within the Blasted Lands.  Expansion after expansion I waited for them to be added and each time, I was left wanting. Finally, at this last Blizzcon I felt the time for them to be added was very near and I was correct.  The Legion is enclosing in and will throw everything and the kitchen sink at Azeroth, so we need to fight Fel Fire with Fel Fire. I really cannot express how excited I am for this class.  I have wanted to either try tanking and a melee dps and now both can be achieved with the Demon Hunter class.  Their lore and tragic hero persona is something that draws me deeper into their struggle with finding a place in the world.   Not to mention that all of their ability animation and abilities are just awesome. I really do hope that I get into the Alpha as I have waited too long to have the chance to dive deep into their stories and learn what sacrifices they have made for their powers.

Personally I have been enjoying every single wow expansion so far, been playing since vanilla (though I sucked badly at wow up untill wrath when I started to understand the actual game) I mainly enjoy the PvE part of wow but sometimes still do pvp. I look forward to the articact weapons and talent system as well as new PvE content. and I cant wait to try out demon hunters in legion aswell, I got myself a DH spot in my raiding guild already. hoping to get a good feeling for them. I have a good feeling legion is only going to bring good things to wow, so I have my hopes high

Really looking forward to the pvp changes and the new pvp honor system. My greatest memories from wow come from doing bgs all day with a bunch of friends and chating away on skype. Such good times and looking forward to much more in legion

I started playing in wrath, but i didnt really pick up the game till cata. Im looking forward most to the PVP system and the artifact weapons. ALSO, the wardrobe feature will open up so much room in my inventory. I can't wait to see the future of Warcraft

A favorite memory?? Well ofc it was the moment our guild killed The Lich King for the first time .. everyone screaming with happiness.. this moment is really heartwarming for me ;)

And that makes me want to play Legion Frost Death Knight :) .. Forging weapons from Frostmourne.. talking to The Lich King and passing halls of Icecrown Citadel .. all that stuff makes me really excited !

So what I am looking forward to in legion is really just a reason to enjoy playing the game again, warlords of Draenor ruined the experience for me with garrisons so excited to see there next rendition of it being class halls. Which is like a great thing for each class community , being able to look at people off the same class , share ideas with them , learn from them , and generally have your own class community and generally a community again which is something I feel wow has missed this expansion.  My fondest memory of wow has to be the first time I ever played the game, finding ironforge as my dwarf warrior just a hour or 2 into the game and spending the next 2 hours running around exploring every crack in the city, before finally questing. Because of my love for the dwarf starting zone my afk spot for many years was kharanos which I still afk in every so often for old times sake

New prestige system is something i cant wait  to try out, kinda not mucch happy with artefacts cause they are not so nice fo classes i play  but will see. Petless hunter is my dream come true :D

I am really looking forward in legion the class artifacts and i think the new dungeon system will be really cool! I would like to get in beta to test out different classes and what kind of changes they have made to them.

In the past i have enjoyed the vast world wow have to offer and I like the pve in wow in my opinion best end game content there is in any mmorpg.

Super psyched to see what they turn out to be like in Legion. Although, youtube videos have shown me that just about every class and spec is going to turn out amazing. Will do the honor of testing all of these classes and specs

Looking forward to everything with PvP talents and I hope it brings people back into Random BGs.   I think I might try something new this expansion and try to create some original content in Legion as a new challenge.

Icy Veins is 5 years old already? You guys took an idea and cranked it to 11. Anyways, the thing I'm looking for in Legion is the new BM hunter class fantasy, because truth be told, it was getting stale. But all these new ideas of commanding 2+ pets at one time seems very fresh.  Also, artifact talents, how neat are they? They are like old pre-MoP talent trees, and I'm missing those to this day. Lest we not forget the Demon Hunter class. A new class means more diversity. And last but certainly not least are the new animations. Having the same animation for 11 years is a bit repetitive. Yeah, they did upgrade them slightly for new models, but they retained the same feel. But these new ones are looking pretty rad.
