Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I would really love to try Legion.

I stopped WoW after cataclysm due to money issues.

However, with Legion being released I would like to try the beta and possibly start WoW again

(now that I can afford the subscription time).

I am most looking forward to the 40 man scenario/raid accending the broken shore where it will be 20 alli and 20 horde. The other things I am looking forward to is creating a demon hunter and leveling my DIsc Priest, BE Frost DK, and my original char my BE Tank/Heal Pally! Thanks for offering this up for a chance to win. You guys have helped so much over the years as I played the game!

Looking forward to what Outlaw rogue will be like. I've been maiming a combat rogue through Warlords and am excited to see what's in store

My fondest memory is my vanilla guild, never doing raid-bosses the way they were "supposed" to be done. Such social and quirky guild full of oddballs like myself (and my now husband that I found in that guild).

Always enjoyed the social aspect of the game. Nothing to do? Have a random chat with some guildie about whatever comes to mind.

Also slightly obsessed with hunting rares and collecting pets. XD

For legion I'm curious on how the different classes have changed (also VERY hyped when it comes to Demon hunters!), now all I have to do is figure out what to use as a main. tongue.png

The new class seems cool, I'm actually excited for it. But I stopped playing somewhere when WoD launched, I miss MoP and Cata tho... I guess I need a good reason to come back to World of Warcraft, at the moment!

What i look forward to most in legion is the awesome world content, and the grindyness or legionaries/artifacts kind of brings me back to BC days when you always had something to and always had something to work towards.  The crafting system looks awesome as well as the prestige system.  My fondest memory of wow was when i had my own raid guild and finally killing 3 drake sarth void walker tanking it after wiping on it for multiple raids nights

First, thanks for offering up the chance to participate in the beta, it is very much appreciated. Icy-Veins has been an amazing resource for raid encounters and class information, and it has certainly enhanced the WoW experience for me. I realize that might come off a bit. I think the thing I am looking forward to most in Legion is the redesign of the classes, most notably, the Arcane Mage

What I'm more exited about in LegionI'm super exited for the lore and new cinematics, like I'm most likely going to prop my feet on the desk and watch them while eating popcorn, since they're always that good.I'm also excited about the pvp- only talents and the artifacts. What I've most enjoyed while playing in the pastThis is a though one since there has been a lot I've enjoyed. But I guess I'll have to say the most enjoyable thing is how the game has been changing and evolving since vanilla, how the talents and attacks have changed, how the attack animations have changed, and how I'm sure it'll keep changing for the better

As a newish player im ultimately looking forward to the artifact system, it looks great and i really hope all the lore in the expansion is actually done right, Also i cant wait for the new class looks amazing, would really want to try it early and get some initial ideas about the overall experience of it.

There are three things I'm most looking forward to, and all of them have to do with making the game feel new again. New classes are always cool, and open up new experiences in PvE and PvP. I think this was a LONG time coming. The classes, I feel, were getting bloated and stale. The ability revamp should go a long way to making the game feel new again.3) 5man progressiong using keystones. Since FOREVER I wanted a way to progress end game with a smaller group than a full raid. I really hope this ends up being a legit alternative to raiding. All in all, I'm much more excited for this expansion than Mists or WoD. I just hope it delivers.

What I am most looking forward to in Legion is the returning to not only class identity, but spec identity as well. It will be great to have the specs/classes back to feeling unique to each other.

I am also a transmog addict so being able to stockpile transmog pieces without fear of space concerns is terribly exciting!

I am really looking forward to upgrading the Artifact weapons like the old skills were setup. One of my best wow memories was when you had the three skill trees and had to walk to learn your new moves.

Personally I can't wait to see if the changes to aff lock actually work. I really dislike the whole dots do next to no damage without MG/Drain soul and hope to enjoy the dot based playstyle again

I'm really looking forward to experience all this new areas, bosses, quests, to wave my legendary "FrostReaper" all around azeroth, and slay any hordes I might encounter. What did I enjoyed in the past? I remember my first run with the guild at Karazhan, I was amazed and truly loved that Raid, I still do, many hours of wipes, listened to the RL in Vent goin mad. Hope in legion we may have such a raid

The one thing I'm looking forward to in Legion is finally getting my hand on the Ashbringer. I have been playing a paladin since Burning Crusade and enjoyed the little hints throughout Vanilla and Burning Crusade of the Ashbringer's origins. While I was saddened I didn't get to wield it in Wrath of the Lich King, or get the corrupted version before it was removed. I am happy I will finally get the artifact after so long

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
