Of all the things I'm excited for in Legion, the new Demonology Warlock, the Artifacts, the Demon Hunter, the biggest thing I'm hyped for is all of the new spell animations and reworks being brought in! First and foremost among them being the Warrior spell animations! Have you seen the new bladestorm, whirlwind and thunder clap?? If you haven't I highly suggest looking for a youtube video showing them off because I was blown away after seeing them. It was a tough decision between the animations and the new Disc priest, because atonement healing seems like it's exactly what I've been wanting for a long time, but those beautiful new spells are just too hype!!!

I've been playing WoW since late Vanilla, and capped my warlock just before Burning Crusade dropped. I played avidly all the way through BC and Wrath and Wrath was my favorite expansion by far. Wrath also holds my fondest memory I have with the game. I was raiding with my guild on my Tank Blood DK, 10-man ICC heroic baby. We we're progressing on the Big Man himself, Arthas. My off-tank was a bear druid and I remember we we're feeling unstoppable that night. We got him down to around the 15% mark pull after pull, and marginal mistakes were the only thing keeping us from hitting that 10% sweet-spot where the kill was achieved. It was probably pull 110 overall, and everything was going perfectly. Defiles were being handled, Adds we're being taken out, and no one died to the frozen orbs of doom. We get him to about the 15% spot and my OT handling the spirits yells over vent, I'M TAKING THE ADDS, GO! And immediately heads for the edge of the spire. I taunt Arthas, and it's just me, an arcane mage and a resto druid left with Arthas at 12%. 11%. 10% Boom. Arthas hits his fury of frostmourne, and we all go down with nothing left. Vent goes crazy with the guild cheering and so hyped, that we had finally gotten him down.

I will never forget that moment In my entire life. It was such an awesome achievement, and that pure feeling of joy and satisfaction that comes with killing the final boss of an expansion is not one easily matched.

Honestly, this is the expansion I have been waiting for the longest.

It's the climax of the burning legion; it's when all hope is lost, but given to the players (IE: Ashbringer); and the addition of Demon Hunters. It's the expansion that (almost) everyone has anticipated and desired. Tying in loose story aspects, and even giving each class their own storyline again.

I really enjoyed doing class quests way back when, so I am hoping that the Artifacts and Class Hall Campaign will give that feeling once more.

It felt like in TBC the storyline for the Burning Legion just came to a halt, but now it feels like a full scale invasion upon the entirety of Azeroth, and that is a pretty huge task that we need to tackle -- It actually feels like it has meaning, and like everyone in Azeroth is being called upon. This is actually urgent. (Unlike WoD).

And don't forget the Demon Hunters!

Top Villians in WoW? Arthas and Illidan! We've had Death Knights, it was only a matter of time until we got Demon Hunters, and let me tell you, that hype is real!

On top of all of that, the Transmog system will be super helpful with bagspace and managing Transmogs. I can't wait! It's nearly as exciting as the Toybox, especially with it being account-wide.

I'm overwhelmed with emotion, the entirety that is Legion has got me on the hype train for WoW.

I honestly don't think I could be more excited!

I like seeing dungeons becoming more relevant in Legion and more of them being available! The more the better, as it has been my favorite part of the game since vanilla.

Can't wait to tank for you all in LFD during Legion!

I think the thing I am looking forward most to in Legion is the revamp of the PVP system. I look forward to seeing how the PVP talent system will play out as well as checking out the new rewards system.

My favorite moment in WoW was probably logging into the world for the first time, just seeing this massive expanse of a world based around games that I had played in my childhood (WC I and WC II) drew me in instantly.

I'm looking forward to having a secondary spec that isn't just another ranged spec (i'm a hunter) so if I feel like mixing it up I'll be able to. I'd say my favorite moment in wow would be the time I randomly met a priest in a pug who would later turn out to be my girlfriend and love of my life. :D

I'm really looking forward to the new spell animations, mounts, and models. WoW has always been a beautiful game, and it keeps getting better and better in that regard.

I'm also really looking forward to the new PvP system. It should be nice to not get destroyed every battleground until I have a full set of gear. I've enjoyed PvP in the past, but I think this is a much needed change. I can't wait.

The new Demon Hunter class also sounds amazing. I loved playing the Death Knight for the first time, and I hope DHs feel just as much like a hero class.

I can't wait for the new transmog system and all the different skins for the artifact weapons. They will keep me playing my main day in and day out until I get them all.

My favorite memory from WoW was finally facing the Lich King in WotLK. I spent countless hour playing Warcraft III when I was young and it felt so good to finally face him.

I've been a WoW player since vanilla, skipped MOP though.

Super excited to try out the new rogue specs! I'm thinking about switching my main from mage to rogue and I want to use the beta to test out the leveling process with each character and spec without setting my real chars down a path with the artifact I don't want.

I pvp a little bit currently, but I feel like the stat flattening will really get my into PVP more seriously this time around, as it won't feel like such an uphill climb to start learning PVP specs, I can just start with the class and begin learning!

What i saw in the current Alpha, that i liked:
- Professions; I hope they keep Daily Cooldowns out of the game like they're now
Obliterum is just a logical step after seeing how Diablo did it so well for years.
- PVP-Trees: PVP Gear in WoD was really just a number increase. Individual items were faceless.
- Art: Blizz lands on point with the 3rd expansion in a row that left me speechless just for the Art.
- Questline Scripts. Good fucking lord i enjoyed watching Noble play them

What i didn't like or hope to see changed:
- Its a shame that we're still not having ingame means to compare eachother for PVE/PvP. There should be an ingame UI for regional/realmwide PVP Toplists (maybe even PVE). Those kind of tables would really endorse the competition, as its just understandable when players can see how far away they are from the Shooting Stars. Ladder Systems in all kinds of games really emphasize that (even Blizz Games).
- As Blizzard announced that they would preset Stats for PVP which will then be multiplied with something in relation to your rank, i thought it would be cool if we could actually toggle different Presets like Hunters with Exotic Ammo (like Haste Focus, Mastery Focus... for example)
-Elemental Shaman Quest... "ohhh see this is the story of how i lost Doomhammer. Heres how you can find it. Nevermind you're elemental, go get your caster shizzle and dont mind Doomhammer" - i'm sure thats just early alpha stuff but man blizzard please fix that.

-Please blizzard for the love of god let me edit default Frame Templates. theres no reason to force me to list all possible Frames inheriting the GeneralFrame Layout before being able to skin it... a man can dream

The main thing I look forward to in Legion apart from artifact weapons are the raids and the the fact that I can switch all 4 specs, and be whatever I have to fill in a raid/dungeon. I think its a very smart thing to do. Another thing I think I am also excited for is to see how the legendary world drop items will alter classes and specs, and how different your gameplay/rotation will be. I'd love to be in the beta to be able to pin point the class I'll main because so far, almost all classes look really fun and interesting.

I really look forward to play Legion! I began as a student in university last semester so I have way more time than I had before for playing WoW. Through this I reached Gladiator-rating this season and I'm really excited about the new PvP-System! Also many classes I play will receive major changes and I would be really happy to test these before Legion goes live.

Im looking forward to them re doing boomkins, mop was pretty fun but the rng for starsurge was annoying sometimes, then they wanted to go away from casters instant casting for pvp then make all mage, spriest dmg instant :( didnt really care for boomys this expansion, offhealing is horrible, feels wrong not to be able to pop a hotw tranq in a raid, hoping with the resto specialization we can do a fair amount of offhealing at least for certain parts of boss mechanics, maybe i can go guardian again this expansion, idk cross your fingers

Legion is looking like a really good expac to casuals that want a little bit of a challenge like me, the dungeons are looking really good atm and I hope that the challenge mode system make them relevant for the rest of the expac...
Looking forward to DH too, their animations are looking very nice but I'm still a bit scared with their playstyle so it would be nice to get into beta to check it by myself laugh.png

Well, thx for the giveway IcyVeins and I good luck to everyone here smile.png

I think my most favorite WoW moment ever, was when I stepped through the Dark Portal for the first time back during TBC. The moment you stepped through the portal you were hit with a brand new world, filled with new experiences and epic ambience music.

The feature I'm looking forward to the most in Legion is the new PvP system. I hope that it will give more reasons to do casual PvP, something I feel has been missing since the new PvP system in TBC was introduced.

Hello all.

I've been playing WoW since it's pre-release 3rd beta wave, so I'm an oldie.  I've met a lot of wonderful people, and made more stories than I can count.  I've dived into every little secret nook I could find, every easter egg, and every bit of lore bit that was available.  I play on a role-play server, and my character's main story started around the time of the invasion of the Legion in Warcraft 3, so to have them return in Legion is a pretty big thing for me.

I also play a druid, so all of the new forms coming makes me bounce in my seat.. I haven't really been a big collector of things in the game, but this is one of the few times I've really wanted to get every unlock for every skin/color variation for the Artifact Weapon, so that's an awesome aspect to look forward to.  This feels like one of the first 'Part 2' expansions as well, with the story piggybacking directly off of Draenor, which is a path I hope they continue to take.

All through my time though Icy Veins has been a part of my technical side of the game, often using it's articles and resources to help expand my own know-how, and to cross check other tidbits of information so I could always remain at my best.  Going forward, I hope to keep it that way, and hope the talented article writers and awesome community continue to thrive throughout Legion, helping eachother as we go.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
