Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Honestly the thing i'm most excited about is working on my artifact weapon, upgrading it, unlocking all of the talents, as well as trying out the new honor system, clearing my banks with the transmog system, all the new dungeons and raids, and not to mention Demon Hunters!

I'm thrilled to see the new dungeons! One of my favorite experiences with WoW especially is seeing a dungeon for the first time and trying to work together with my group to take down the bosses, and I can't wait to see what the developers have in store for dungeons.

Really looking forward for PvP to be separated of PvE, so PvP developers could make balance changes easier!

From the looks of it this will be a great expansion. who doesn't want to see a huge burning legion invasion. I really want to see how order halls turn out along with the artifact weapons. This seems to be a great expansion in the making.

Totally looking forward to testing out the new Artifacts/Artifact system, all the new talents, the revamped honor system, the wardrobe (finally), and of course all the new raids.

I'm really looking forward to exploring the new zones on the broken isles, especially Suramar and Highmountain. My fondest memory of WoW so far was questing through Kun-lai Summit, my favorite zone in the game, for the first time.

I'm super excited for the new transmog system, my bank is filled with things just waiting for it. I've read PvP is getting a revamp, too!! And the new zones, and-- Everything, honestly.

I have mained a paladin since early BC and have always wanted to slay my enemies with the power of the Ashbringer!

I'm really looking forward to seeing and trying out all the revamped tank speccs in Legion. I really hope the new changes will solve the current issue of all tanks feeling very similar to play.

I'm really looking forward to having all my 3 specs available to me in legion as a triple dps spec. I know it's probably not something most people value that much but I like having the option to swap around without having to go respec and redo bars and everything.

And as a best moment in wow, I don't think there's a single moment that stands out more than others. I think the best moments in wow for me are spent raiding with my group of friends and just having a good time in general.

I am really excited about the new spell animations, I'm kind of upset about the ability pruning i feel like in the past the complexity of some classes added a skill cap

Honestly, I'm excited for the storyline that we will get in Legion, as it looks like many things are going to change with the characters. The storyline of WoW is what's kept me playing the game for all these years (since BC), so I'm really excited to see what's going to happen!

The thing I'm excited about for Legion is not really Legion specific. As a hardcore PvE player I really want to see what the raids are going to be like. I just hope blizzard keep it up since WoD mythic raiding was amazing. I also really hope that Assassination is the top rogue spec since it has the better looking daggers.

I'm curious to see how removing pvp gear will affect pvp, gearing played a big and very important of pvp itself. Does this mean no more special gear to buy for those with 2000+ rating?

As far as a priest goes I'm honestly dreading legion, however the new mounts and pets and my shamans upgrades I'm excited for. Honestly there's going to be both good and bad points and we will adjust no matter or roll something new.

I'm looking forward to playing through each classes' artifact quest lines and determining a main for the expansion. My fondest memory of wow is raiding for the first time with a close guild throughout BC and WotLK.

I'm pretty excited to start playing the Demon Hunter class, I have been playing a protection warrior as my main raid class since Cataclysm. So I will be switching my main to a Demon Hunter during Legion. One of my most fondest memories from playing WoW would have to be from getting my 2 friends into playing WoW. Once I helped level them up we would spend every night running old raids and dungeons for about 2 weeks straight.

I am most looking forward to Demon hunters, I have been waiting for this class since Burning Crusades. However I love the changes I've seen to the classes and the over all depth that appears to be going into this. I hope they keep on this track. It is a very needed change.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
