Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm looking forward to the lore evolution, especially Night Elves lore, and Class Order Halls, new locations, music etc.

I'm really interested in the world lore and studied it since the beginning. I like previous expansions especially for theirs lore.

I most look forward to the new artifact weapons for my rogue in legion. STABBY STABBY.

My favorite memory is probably completing the epic questline for my Dreadsteed on my warlock back in Vanilla. Took forever, but man did it feel good to accomplish.

I think a lot of changes in Legion are looking really good, I'm particularly hyped for DH. I think a lot of the DK changes are looking really interesting as well. My fondest moment in WoW was probably doing the Argent Tournament content in WotLK, I loved that expansion.

If this is a double post I apologize I don't think my last one went through

Basically I am looking forward to the transmog system. Its time I held a garage sale and cleaned out my banks!

I am also looking forward to trying the new melee hunter it should be interesting. I am not 100% sure I am going to like it but I do want to try it out.

Lastly I am interested to see how the new zones and its unique leveling will work with groups of different leveled characters. I am reserving judgement on how that will effect game play till I try it out.

I am primarily looking forward to total new feel of the classes due to major spec changes. I am very eager to play all of the classes to get a feel of what I want to play and main for legion. I also hope to input my opinion into the construction of the game which I have spent countless days and will put future hours into too.

I've only recently gotten into wow (the end of mists) and i have to say, i love getting to play the new content with my guild, and trying to figure out how to beat bosses in the new raids. Im really looking forward to the new rework of Demonology warlocks. Honestly i feel like legion is going to be a good Warlock expansion, i can feel some good shit coming our way.

I really expect tanking to be less boring in the upcoming expansion. After 5 years of tanking, I cannot stand switching at X stacks anymore!

My fondest memory in the game is by far the collection of realm firsts I achieved during the tier 11 progression.

I'm mostly excited about the Rogue changes for all specs and class specific quest lines tied to the artifacts. More class specific quests is something I've wanted forever, so I'm glad it's finally happening. And I've been playing Rogue since I first started in Wrath, so it'll be nice to really really get into the lore mindset of what it means to be a rogue.

Also looking forward to jumping into PvP without worrying about getting absolutely destroyed by people who have played longer. I've never really gone into PvP for that reason.

I'm really excited for Windwalker Monks in legion their new mastery looks really fun and their artifacts and talents are really cool as well.

I started playing wow in wrath and have always been a feral druid however the class Isn't as fun as it used to be but I'm thinking of changing things up when legion hits the fantasy of monks is really cool and I've always loved the monk theme in games like Diablo and Final Fantasy.

The thing I am most looking forward to in Legion is the update to transmog. The wardrobe really is a godsend in my opinion ,and gives us plenty of options in game as well as the ability to save gear without having to keep it within our bags.

Along with this I am really looking forward to obtaining all the heirlooms and giving them all a try, as well as the quests themselves.

Finally I am looking forward to seeing all the different dungeons, and at the end running CMs as I really like the changes which you can see have some inspiration from Diablo, which in my eyes is an amazing change.

Oh man!  Where to start?!  What I'm most excited about, that is coming in Legion is definitely Gnome Hunters!  I've wanted to play a hunter but just couldn't find the race that felt right!  Gnomes are where it's at!  On top of that, artifacts, new zones, new ways to level in zones, the transmog system!  There is just so many new and exciting things coming!

I remember when I first started playing WoW, I was invited to a guild started at work.  Leveled as fast as you could in Vanilla and was dumped into Molten Core.  That raid was immense and awe inspiring, to the point where I wandered into Mobs causing a wipe.  Those were the days....

I'm looking forward to the new dungeons and also the new pvp prestige system. I'm hyped for legion just in general. Been playing the greatest game for about 8 years now and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Really looking forward to the class changes. My main in Legion will be my Shammy. Love the way that Enhancement Shaman will be buffing other players in raid, and who doesn't want to wield Doomhammer?

So many other class changes too that will have me jumping on my alts to try stuff out. Holy Pally melee healer for one, how awesome does that sound!?!

I'm very much in to professions which were pretty much gutted in WoD. Great to see you have to work for resources again, and actually put some time in to crafting. This was the biggest let down in WoD for me.

Best of all I have been building up my annual leave balance and will be cashing it in upon release. Bring on Legion!!

Can't wait! Particularely im interested in the new forms of the Ashbringer and the new expansion. I'm really wanting Demonhunter, though it doesn't seem that close to my preferences. I prefer heavy tank and melee fighter.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
