Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Transmog is the single most exciting thing Legion is expanding on for me. im really interested in getting to use this greatly expanded feature. coincidentally, transmog is the feature that changed WoW for me in the past. finally being able to put together nice appearances and getting away from looking like a clown every new tier as well as not being forced to look like whatever hideous dead thing my hunter had to wear each tier was a miracle

I'm looking forward to the professions. They seem to be going back to the old school style of professions where you could have really cool recipes that not many people had, and people would come to you for crafting. Sort of you yourself being some sort of legendary blacksmith. My favorite moment is riding the boat from Stormwind to Howling Fjord for the first time. It's really magical with the auroras, going under burning ships hanging from the cliffs. Absolutely beautiful.

I'm mostly excited about artifacts and Demon Hunters. I hope to see Blizzard stick to the whole "Frequent Patches and Content" that they first muttered during MoP. WoD has been live longer than MoP now. WoD is becoming similar to Cata. They really need to stop announcing features then deciding to scrap them later even before they began. It just hit it's 10 year anniversary in 2014, I would like to see it hit 20. I have faith in you Blizz, don't let us down.

I'm so excited for the artifact system, I feel like it's going to bring back the old talent calculator feel which I personally loved back in WoWs early days. Also I'm super excited to test out the new PvP system, it looks like they are finally figuring out how to tune all the classes and specs properly. Have a good feeling this is going to bring WoW back to its former glory days.

Demon hunter is a huge plus. Finally, my Ìllîdàn char will finally be of use!

(disclaimer, I don't actually have this char)

Artefact weapon, but mostly lore is what interest me.

As a long time fan of Warcraft since the release of the first game I'm excited to see the next chapter of the Warcraft story. From the first opening of the Dark Portal to demise of Archimonde nothing feels better than joining up with your friends to overcome the big bad guy. I'm excited to see the new places we get to explore and I'm excited to see what challenges Blizzard can come up with. Of all the changes however, I'm curious to see how powerful our new weapons can be. My fondest memory was my first heroic Lich King kill, such an incredible feeling to put an end to Warcraft's most tragic hero.

Mostly looking forward to see how Feral will be, and following the Artifacts story. As well as the raids, having high hopes for that since Blizzard never lets down on that part. Also looking forward to the things implemented from Diablo - like the mog system, the new CM dungeons that are like Greater Rifts and the daily quests which are same to the bounties

I have to say the much needed Transmog system overhaul is my most looked forward to feature of Legion. In the past transmog farming and mount farming have always been there as something for me to do in my down time and with this new system it will be all that more enjoyable

Hi, I'd just like to say that I love this site and have it always open when I'm learning a new raid boss.

I mostly looking forward to the artifact system and the new talents. I also would love to play the demon hunter class.

What I like the most about wow is the music and the story. I also love how easy it's to learn it and be decent at it.

Happy anniversary!

I don't even know. It will certainly be nice to the transmog tab, and finally get some space in my bags again. Gameplay wise I am certainly looking forward to the artifacts and the new sort of 'talent tree' theh will bring to the game, I hope that allows some customiztion. The new PvP system will also be nice, as it will be a new kind of indicator towards how good you are, I do hope the random PuG troll wont abuse this too much though.

Been in every beta since Cataclysm, so here is to hoping for another one!

I'm really excited for my ret paladin (Hardcore Raider/PvP Veteran) and roll to shaman(Boost LV 110). I've been keeping up to lore with all the stories about it and I'm so glad that Legion might get me back into my dream in this game, lore, and pvp. This artifact weapons are going to be epic as well, but the good thing to come from Legion.

Have to admit, I'm mostly looking forward to the Demon Hunter class being released, mostly because it's exactly what I wanted Monks to be, highly mobile and having the ability to use said mobility to damage an enemy as you pass by.

I'm also a massive lore nerd and in the past I've always cleared entire zones before moving onto the next, even if it's more xp efficient to move on sooner than later, with previous expansion's lore being top notch I'm looking forward to seeing Legion's lore play out and how it relates to the previous expansions.

As someone who only recently started playing World of Warcraft last summer, this website has been one of my main sources in learning how to gear and play my class. I am excited for Legion as I'll be able to get a fresh start in a new raid tier, and experience different classes and of course, new content (even though there's plenty of fresh content for me to enjoy as I'm new!). Goodluck to everyone!

What I enjoyed in the past of playing WoW was going on adventures discovering new places and meet new people. For Legion, I am looking forward for the new PvP prestige system and the new class.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
