Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Legion has me all hyped up for WoW again.

I'm excited to explore the new Artifact weapons and traits, and feel their impact on game play. Looking forward to a class I have wished for since I first stepped foot into the game, the Demon Hunter. I'm a bit of an Illidan fanboy admittedly, and Night Elves were my favorite race to play in WC3 with the Demon Hunter being one of the cooler hero units in my opinion.

Ultimately, I'd really like to step foot into the new expansion ahead of its release date so that I can be a part of the testing and feedback. Every bit counts and I want this expansion to be one of the very best.

World of Warcraft Legion! Where to start?! Yet again another WoW expansion I'm quite hyped about! Sure, every expansion has its ups and downs without a doubt, but primarily I believe Legion will be chock-full of new/reworked content for us WoW players. Bringing in brand new players and old players alike. Overall most of the new spec changes really interest me, along with of course....the stunning new visuals. We all know Warlords definitely had its flaws, but I put my trust in Blizzard to overall learn from their mistakes. Without a doubt, I wouldn't be where I am in WoW today without you guys! With all your help, I went from an "Average Joe" to an overall well rounded WoW player, willing to challenge myself within the game. By far, my personal favorite experience in World of Warcraft was learning how to play all of the classes throughout the game. With each class bringing its own personal utility and overall helpfulness throughout raids and PvP. Thanks again for all the help Icy Veins! See you all in Legion!

I'm looking forward to seeing all the new Enhancement and Resto Shaman changes and exploring the new zones.

I'm also a bit disappointed that I have not already been given a key as I need to update all of my AddOns for all of my users who are counting on me getting them up to date for Legion :/

I am by far the most excited about the new Artifact weapons in Legion, the thought of wielding some of the most famous weapons in lore, like ashbringer and such, is causing me to nerd out. I've always like the themed weapons like shadowmourne, but to get the real mcoy with most of these weapons is super awesome. the demonhunter class-- lore wise-- is one of the more interesting in a while. Can't wait for the expansion though!

There is a lot to be excited about. Class fantasy is great! To immerse oneself into your character as you venture deeper into a new adventure really energizes me. But i am really looking forward to Wrathion's purpose on the Broken Ilse. The Dragonflight gave up their powers to help defeat Deathwing ushering in the Age of Mortals. Can us mortals bring it all together to stop the burning Legion. Will we resurrect the final titan to beat the Legion and possibly opening up a wound that lets the Old God N'zoth out of his "cage" deep within our world. As much as i want to play this expansion now, I cant help but wonder what the next expansion brings. Also I am anxious to see the new leaders of Azeroth, both Horde and Alliance emerge and how they balance tensions between each faction and assist in defending Azeroth.

Thank you for letting me post. I appreciate the opportunity to voice my thoughts. Happy Gaming! Namaste.

From now till launch I pray for the Unholy DK changes to stick and to be reunited with Timmy on the battlefield.. (and necro strike) The PvP talent system + artifact weapon trait tree + Normal talent tree combined give an overall feel of a more customized spec.

As a PvPer the fact that blizz can now easily tune PvP and PvE separate makes makes me really hyped for the release.. Long live Timmy!

I am really looking forward to Legion. I have been playing world of warcraft for 7 years, since I was just 12 years old, so it really was a part of growing up for me. I have never participated in any sort of beta asides from the Diablo 3 beta, and that turned out to be not that good of a game to beta test. Also, the lore! Who could forget about the lore. This will likely be one of the most lore intensive expansions, and we might actually end up going toe to toe with the big man, Sargaeras himself! All in all, I really hope that I get a beta key for Legion.

What I am looking forward to this time is that I can't wait to play the Demonhunter! I love monks and Demo locks..  so I figured I'd love to play the demonhunter..

I also looks forward to that after you have finished your quest lines and all of your rep grind and gear grinding.. you can keep on going for a long time with the new PvP system and with the upgrades of your Artifact weapons xD.. I am extremely exited for the Beta and can't wait to try it out with something that will most likely be my favourite class overall =)

I'm looking forward to using weapons from the lich king. I'm worried about the new legendary items becoming mandatory to farm. Finally, I'm excited to do some difficult 5 man content in the new challenge modes! Cheers!

I am really looking forward to the new class changes. I've had the most fun playing arena back in TBC when every class felt unique. Which is something that got lost during the last expansions. I think heading back to the original idea of every class sounds very promising and i can't wait to test all of them

I'm definitely looking most forward to artifacts and the new dungeon keys. The keys just sound like an amazing idea that will make dungeons fun to keep repeat running. What I loved most in the past was the entirety of WotLK. I played a whole lot of WC3 and to finally get to go one on one with Arthas was amazing

I'm excited to be going into a new expansion knowing what I'm doing.  Warlords of Draenor was my first expansion and despite what everyone said about it I had a lot of fun.  I'm definitely looking forward to the Artifact Quest Lines and fighting the Legion some more!

I think I speak for all of us when I say that a lot of the classes seem kind of new and fresh, so to speak. A lot of the talent changes and abilities are interesting, and look very promising. For me personally, the Blood DK changes look amazing. Having to actively maintain Bone Shield is going to be a nice change of pace. The change in runes in a welcomed as well, but I can see how others might frown upon that. Legion looks very promising.

I've been playing WoW since I was 13 back near the end of vanilla but more so into Burning Crusade. BC was my favorite expansion and honestly I have never been as hyped for a new WoW expansion since Legion because a lot of the content seems similar lore wise. I'm hyped!

For the Horde!

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
