Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

I'm looking forward to just get back into raiding. I played the last tier casually and without any new tiers this expansion there was no reason to grind the raids. The initial rush of an expansion is great and is my favourite part of any expansion release

I have to admit I am addicted to the lore of Wow, my favorite books were the war of the Ancients series and i'm hoping there will be some reference to them in legion (the cata dungeon, while cool, just didn't do it justice in my opinion), I'm also looking forward to melee hunters . I started playing at the start of Wrath, which for me was the perfect time, as I spent many, many hours playing Warcraft 3 as a kid and wothk had a feeling of nostalgia to it, the whole feeling of working my way up to the Litch king in ICC was kind-of like completing a story I started long ago

Looking most forward to the new class also the new transmog system, I'm finally gonna have some space in my bags . I dont like lvling chars (since it take way to long for my patience XD), but a new class is exciting. It's new and shiny and probably everyone is gonna start one at launch so no quests mobs just like with the launch of TBC in the Blood elf area, but that could be a good thing if everyone is sticking together it goes allot faster and maby you make some new friends. WoW has brought me allot of joy and sadness. Found my first love with WoW (no i didn't fall in love with the game, I already loved it, but a person in the game ). The relationship also ended because of WoW (he was addicted and liked playing WoW more then spent time with me). This all happend between the launch of TBC and WotLK XD. Becouse of this and my guild breaking up I stopped playing WoW. Untill a good friend gave me a battlechest(my account got stolen by my ex so I had to make a new one) to try out all the new stuff (this was like 4 months before WoD launch).Cataclysm and Pandaria where completely new for me and I enjoyed it so much that I started again and still playing today . Legion is gonna change the WoW world and I can't wait to play with all the new and shiny toys(things) that they are putting into the game

In my opinion the most exciting thing that comes out with Legion is a ton of new lore. Lore that is actually relevant not like "lore" in WoD. Old mysteries unveiled mostly through artifact questlines like f.e. Dark Riders of Karazhan or Tirisfal Glades mystery. The most interesting storyline in Legion might be the Sylvanas' one. When I heard rumors of Sylvanas becoming relevant again and these new Val'kyrs found in Halls of Valor I was soooo happy to hear that my favourite charactaer is finally getting some love <3 So yeah, this is basiclly what excites me the most. Can't wait to see what's going to happen in the future smile.png

I haven't played wow in a long time and I am really looking forward to it coming back, especially with the transmog system.

What I'm really excited for is the new Raids, getting into a new environment, after BRF and HFC for months. My favorite moment was (and actually still is) to fight against Yogg'Saron right when his true form spawns and he is yelling out all this great stuff, and of course his yelling after his demise, when he speaks in the language of the Old Gods, its just <3<3<3

I can't wait for the new Challenge Mode dungeons that allow the smaller guilds like the one I'm in to actually get good gear and progress through difficult content in a 5man setting. And like my non-existent kids, I love all my WoW memories the same. No matter what WoW memory pops in my head I get very nostalgic and it makes me immediately want to subscribe again. But if I HAD to choose one it would be wiping all night long on Heroic Ragnaros until the Raid Leader passed out and we had to yell at him through vent to wake him up

Im Looking forward to the new 5man Dungon modes that will come for as it is now i dont like them for ppl is just pull and can get away with it, back in the day then you got aggro and you not was a tank you got kill by that mob so i hope it will be like that again. I enjoyed doing 5man with friends for the was hard and you need to wait for the tank to have 2 sunders befor attacking and so  And i cant wait to try all the new things that is comeing not so much then i comes to pvp that is not my strong side

As with all expansions, I always love the new additons and changes to the game! So far I really like the demonology warlock and survival hunter, aka the melee hunter!

With demonology getting a very unique artifact as well, makes me want to be one, after having maining destruction for most of my time as a warlock, it's going to be nice for a change!

Am very hyped for Legion in general. Learning all the new story and how the Legion invades Azeroth is going to be really great!

What I'm looking forward to most in Legion is the lore, and finally playing a Demon Hunter.

I can't really think of any major major memories of my WoW time, even though I have played since Wrath of the Lich King. Though I think I like the LFR system the best, since it allowed me to finally see the raids. Without it I don't know if I would have seen any raid at all.

I'm really excited about the new PvP-system. Hopefully it'll make BGs fun again. I'm also looking forward to the new transmog-system, and getting back some bank space laugh.png

I started playing the summer of last year, and have been told time and again how amazing it is to experience an expac go live. I am very excited to experience the hype first hand, and to take my priest and boomkin into Legion and see what they can do. It will also be nice to feel like a noob again - but with everyone else experiencing something new alongside me. I don't care what I have to do, I will get that fox. My boyfriend is so hyped for Demon hunters, as Illidan is his fave and he's wanted to be one since forever, so it will be nice to team up and see how hyped he gets over the new class (I hope he loves it). The aesthetics of Blessings of Elune and An'She intrigue me, I cannot wait to see what my boomkin looks like with the stars in all her forms. To be honest, I just want to get started now.

The new artifact weapon talent system. It allows you to have more customization whilst leveling, so it can always feel different. Some new dungeon and raiding content. I know this comes every expansion, but I always really look forward to it. The new pvp system also seems quite nice, in the way you acquire talents just by playing, you don't need to be really good. Plus all the specs seem a bit more refreshing imo. The whole way some of them even play has been changed, which will be a nice change for my main and even alts I level. And lets not forget that awesome transmog system freeing up my bank and bag space. Plus even on top of all this, the whole new map of the broken isles looks sooooo good.

I've been hyped for Legion for a while now really. I'm always looking on various website like MMO-Champion, Battle.net forum, yours, for more info about the expansion itself. I'm planning on rerolling a demon hunter, raiding with it as I've always been more into PvE then PvP and that since the beginning of the game. The new PvP system tho looks interesting and will definitely be worthy of my time. I also can't wait to work with artifact powers and skins, that is a huge plus in my opinion. I started playing WoW in March 2005, as a Undead Priest named Klepsch, will always remember lol. I've done my first raiding with him on the server Cenarion Circle, healed a bit of MC, never saw the end of it during Vanilla, wasn't that much of an ''hardcore'' player back then. I really started out raiding seriously in Burning Crusade, where I had a better knowledge of the game and went into Serpentshrine Caverns, clearing it all out along with Tempest Keep. My best moment in my whole ''gaming history'' is the night we finally downed Kael'thas after wiping on him for about 2 weeks every single night we raided. Damn that did felt good and the vent reaction was epic lol. After TBC I rerolled as DK for a good part of WotLK, as the class did interest me a lot. Raided the first and second half of WotLK as a DK, and rerolled a hunter just before Icecrown Citadel came out because that was what my guild needed back then. Did went 11/12H for a very long time, was frustrating back then haha. Raided Cataclysm with the hunter at the start, downed Al'Akir and Nefarian in the first week, I took some break off WoW after that due to job issueing with the guild schedule. I came back for Pandaria, where I raided the whole expansion with my hunter still, did everything in heroic pretty much, as a solid 10 man. When the mythic patch was introduced it damaged our guild a lot but we managed to get some RL friends back into WoW and had a solid 20 man going. Had lot of fun in Warlords of Draenor raiding, but it also had major flaws. The time between patches have been way too long. At least raids are good, but have been in place for too long now so many people took break, but that's another point. I just can't wait for Legion, my pre-order is up, and the hype is real.

Few things I'm excited about for Legion:

Demo spec locks look absolutely insane. Seems like they're bringing back some complexity with all the synergy between spells and talents that they have;

Sub Rogues look pretty interesting with the 3 charge dance and built-in cloak and dagger to replace the now deceased burst of speed. Also like how you can take a shadow damage backstab replacement to bypass that nasty DK/War/Pally armour;

Both Fury and Arms look exciting, I guess we'll see how Arms ends up doing in new pvp with so much less self-healing than Fury;

PvP Talents: There are so many unique talents that bring an air of class fantasy to the game, like the Sub Rogue can take someone out of everyone's view and essentially have an untrinketable CC for 8 Sec. Death knights get PvP auras!;

Animations! They look awesome. I like all of the ones I've seen apart from backstab.

I started playing WoW with my friends back in Burning Crusade, and it instantly became my favorite game of all time. I played through Wrath, and my favorite moment to this day was when my guild finally downed Yogg Saron (we were just a group of friends, and while some of us were very good at the game back then, others were just along to hang out). I stopped playing once Cataclysm came out because most of my friends did, but I resubbed for Warlords. I'm looking forward to Legion because a lot of those friends in my old guild have resubbed as well, and that's what sets WoW apart from any other game - the social aspect of it. That's what keeps people coming back. I think the expansion is looking killer so far from the alpha footage I've seen, the new animations rock, and anything involving the Burning Legion is something I'm really hyped about.

      Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
      This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
      As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

      Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
      Our guide offering is currently as follows:
      Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
      With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
      Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
