Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

In Legion I am most looking forward to challenging dungeon content to compliment the amazing raids this game has offered for 11 years.  My most fond memory of wow is killing Ragnaros 25 H in cata we spent several weeks progressing and the screams of joy over vent after him dying is something i think of often

I am looking forward for Legion, to check and play the new mechanics of my class (warlock). I am also very excited on the new spell animations for all other classes as well. My hope for Legion is that it will resurrect Wow from its current sad state

I am looking forward to Demon hunter and the new survival hunter rework. I am also glad to hear that Blizzard is going to try reproduce the bring the player and not the class philosophy

There are a lot of things I look forward to in Legion, among the top is that we finally get to play a Demon Hunter! The thing I look forward to the most though is the new Challenge Mode dungeon system. I really hope they manage to make dungeons worthwhile as a good progress system, and the new dungeons look really great!

My greatest moment in WoW has to be the culmination of WotLK, when we finally got to down the Lich King.

I have been playing WoW since Classic, but I was pretty casual at first and did not really get into raiding until WotLK. I progressed as a raider as the expansion went on, and by the end I had become a good enough raider that I felt I pulled my weight and earned my spot when my Guild killed Arthas. As a huge fan of Warcraft 3, it really felt great to be part of the story of the Lich King. Even if I now have other bosses that I think is even better mechanically, none other have had quite the impact that killing Arthas had. Still raid with a handful of the people I raided with back then!

I can't wait for the wardrobe tab, I've loved transmog since it came out and look forward to collection all new outfits and finding more combinations gear. I am also looking forward to get back into raiding in this expantion. My favorite thing when i started looking to raid was finally getting in a raid group and becoming their main tank.

My best memory in WoW was discovering the Icecrown Citadel raid with my first character at level 80. The design of this raid was beautiful and the lore around it was epic.I was very disappointed with the content in WoD and I hope Legion will be awesome. I am looking forward to testing Legion and analyzing the Unholy and Frost DK gameplay, looking forward to testing the dungeon and raid content of this extension and I hope the difficulty will be higher than previous expansions

What am I looking forward to the most in Legion? Pretty big question. They are overhauling most classes and specs, so I'm curious on how they'll balance everything. Mostly I'm excited to play the actual game. Have been for 11 years, so I won't stop now.In terms of features I must say the transmog system is a lifesaver. On my main warrior I barely have any space left, even with Hexweave Bags in every bag and bank slot. Though, I'm not sure what to do with the extra space now. Basicly just excited about the expansion.

The main thing I am looking forward to in legion is the melee survival hunters. I never had the time to get one to cap but I always found them really interesting. Now in warlords I main a prot pally and I am really looking forward to the new changes coming to them in legion. Good luck to everyone and may the luckiest person win.

I'm really REALLY looking forward to the Emerald Nightmare raid. Ever since i saw that old unfinished Emerald Dream map, i have wanted to have an expansion with the emerald dream. While that would never happend now, a raid is just as good. i think 2 years of green stuff would get boring anyway

The thing I'm really looking forward to in Legion is the lore, zones and artifact weapons. Because of Nobbel I started to get into the lore and I got addicted to it. I like how everything has its own history and lore. The lore that we are getting in Legion looks just so amazing (for what we can see now). I like the idea of a burning legion attack and I love it that we can get some night elven, tauren en vrykul Lore. The story of Helya also looks nice. And finally Sylvanas will get involved in the lore. The zones just look beautiful. I think that the art team has done an even greater job than they did in WoW, and these zones where amazing. I like the art and feeling you get when you are in the zones. The artifact weapons are looking promising. Again the art just looks great of the weapons and the lore behind it is also great. Just the idea that you can customise your own weapon and upgrade it is a great idea and I hope it won't fail.I started really late with WoW. I started late Cata and beginning of MoP. My greatest memory about the game. The first time leveling past lvl 20 felt great and first time logging in also. It was great getting my Ashes of Alar. But I think my greatest memory was reaching max lvl for the first time with my DK. For some it might not look a great memory but for me it was a great moment. After so much time finally reaching max lvl felt just great.I'm really looking forward to Legion. Until now it looks great and I hope it will be better than WoD.

I am so excited for so many aspects of this expansion. I have been following this since it was first announced.  I find myself somewhere between a half decent raider to a pretty good pvper, so there's a lot in this expansion I'm pumped for. Looking at some of the prestige pvp stuff has really given me something to look forward to with pvp. Being able to level up my pvp ability, then have the option to "prestige" for awesome rewards is fantastic. And of course I've been waiting a LONG time to wield the Ashbringer  Cheers and thanks for the giveaway. Look forward to seeing you all on the Broken Isles

What i'm looking forward to most is probably Ret Paladin and THE ASHBRINGER. However there are plenty of other things to look forward to. I'm pretty interested in what the 40 man scenario will be like.

Apart from the obvious (Artifact weapons especially, can't wait for Apocalypse), I am really looking forward to smaller things like the updates to professions and the wardrobe system! The new PvP progression system will probably bring me back to PvP properly again too.

Honestly, I'm really looking forward to ridding ourselves of Gul'dan finally and progressing the story with WoW. Are we facing off against Sargeras in this expansion? I don't know and I'm dying to find out!

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
