Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Honestly i'm actually looking forward to the overhaul of the PVP system, The prestige system gives us something else to do on the PVP scene. WOD in my opinion felt like a let down in terms of pvp (Ashran), though the PVE scene was good. The leveling system was amazing, for the first time in my 10 years in wow i was actually drawn in to the quests for each zone, the cut scenes where basically the cherry on the top. i hope they do the same in Legion.

P.S As a fellow student animator, the new animation look AMAZING. nothing trumps the new warrior animations :P

Let us know in the comments what you're most looking forward to I am looking forward to Demon Hunters I hate to say. I am an altaholic and love the idea of a new class to play, especially when they have double jump. as well as your fondest memories in Warcraft history. Whether it's a guild moment, a personal moment or a moment in the game's story itself, we want to hear it. My fondest memory is entering the dark portal for the first time and seeing Hellfire Peninsula and all those high level demons back in Burning Crusade. While BC probably wasn't the best xpac, it was the first and that made it the most exciting to me

I am looking forward to the class artifact weapons the most. It should add a new motivation for dusting off some of the old characters and also trying out the Demon Hunter class. As a druid main, I am excited to see the different artifact shapeshift forms. I think the new Honor system will rekindle my interest in the PvP side of WoW as well

I've been playing the same Shadow Priest for 10 years, and have never been more excited for my class than I am now for the changes in Legion. I absolutely cannot wait to test out the new abilities, especially Void Form. The artifact weapon system is also something I am extremely anxious to test out. The story for Legion is also a major point of excitement, as Guldan has always been one of my favorite characters, and I can't wait to learn how the story with the Burning Legion plays out.Things I've loved about World of Warcraft from the past are all things Shadow Priest related, and anything lore related. The lore in the War craft universe is so deep and rich, I can spend hours reading about the history of the different races and characters, and love exploring the places I game that I've reading about. I most enjoy the expansions and raids that deal specifically with events tied to the original Warcraft games

I'm most looking forward to the new dungeons. I've been watching streams and videos of them and I can't wait to jump into them. I also really like the new mechanical pet family for hunters (been a Hunter since I started playing just before TBC was released), especially having just heard that they're bringing rare pet tracking back

Been having a Break from WoW for the Last 7 Months but i will definitely give Legion a Try. Demo for my Alt Warlock looks pretty fun to Play but the hunt for Artifact Skins on my Main Feral Druid will be awesome. Those new Cat Forms look really cool. I like how they changed most classes in Terms of Class and Spec Identity. Also the CM Dungeon Design could be worth giving a shot and with the new Honor System i might even give PVP a try

I'm so hyped for the renewed class fantasies, especially the Frost Mage and Marksman Hunter. I can finally play as a lone Frost Wizard like in vanilla, but with new and fun powers like Glacial Spike. I can't wait to get my hands on Alodi's Staff and rout out the Legion from our Homeworld

Well I'm super exited about this legion.Firstly I main priest especially DISC. So I can't wait to test this new Atonement healing which reminds me of old days that how it was before. I used to stay up all night doing all those quest for requiring Corrupted Ashbringer which I got it But ever since I heared about Ashbringer as artifact, that honestly I cant wait to test it out. (Super Hyped) Other thing is about new talents, new Class which I love to explore them. Also these new raids and putting an end to Demon race Bohahaha.

I have been a main frost mage for 2 years and am very exited for the mage changes in Legion. The new frost mastery looks much more engaging in the rotation with multiple frost orbs out than the 6.  Furthermore as a raider I love that PvE gear and PvP gear will be turned into just gear so that we can gear however we choose whether we have guild members avalible or not. This will speed up que times at end game and aid all players. My main concern will be Demon Hunters being over-powered like death knights in Wrath of the Litch King.

So far my only complaint for legion is the small number of zones, i'm really looking forward to seeing if they are amazing zones though. From some of the alpha footage i've seen, they may be

I have seen picture of some new mounts, and I cant wait to ride a red fox.  I am loving all the new mount models they will be implementing, all unique and beautifully detailed <3 Both scared and excited about the Discipline Priest new gameplay.  Trying to make the decision whether to pull my Guardian Druid back out the closet (druid artifacts rock) or continue another expansion as Discipline for my main. I just want to explore and enjoy the magic that is World of Warcraft thanks to the art department

I think i'm most looking forward to the new ability animations in legion, it will bring back a revitalizing, fun feel again to the game we love. In the past I've enjoyed having several unique abilities on my bars to make the game more complex and it makes all the classes feel original and I think legion will deliver.  -As a side note I love the website but never had made an account, I have used it for transmog guides mostly. I would love to test legion so I can see if the game will bring back the old nostalgia, having fun with all my friends again. Thanks, Sub

I'm really excited for the new dungeons and class overhauls I have seen footage for both aspects and each looks new, a little bit of to much proning going on but to be expected. The challenge system with the keystone really peaks my interest and I'm curious to see if this will allow dungeons to stay relevant through out the evil expac or not. Either way the new mechanics in each dungeon look amazing as well as the visual features. Each dungeon looks unique and has its own characteristics to it which I really like. I'm also looking forward to raiding with a little of skepticism due to how WoD hamdled things. Tremendous raids truly but a little dry in terms of replay ability value. It's like the type of solo game you clear once and never want to do again. Blizzard had mentioned going back to a more early wrath, BC type of feel for each dungeon and with there and what not and I'm curious to see their follow through with that. Anywho before this turns into a novel I have high hopes. Will they pan out? Only time will tell!! Stay epic icy veins

I have been playing WoW since bc and have been loving every second of it. It is by far my favorite game of all time and unlike most, I stayed loyal through wod and mop enjoying it all. I would love to try out legion before release so I can see all the changes and test out the game before it releases.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
