Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Can't wait to test this new expansion and all the changes that will come. I've got a lot of theorycrafting that i need to test before the release. So many questions without any answers at the moment. How does the profession will be change, what class will i finally play? How to improve in the most efficient way our artifact weapons? I really need to test this beta. Moreover for my guildmates which don't understand a single english word and need some help with some review of this beta in french. Good luck to all of you. Best regards from a french Hunter.

What i'm looking forward to see the most are all the class changes they are implement for legion, plus artifacts. Been a long time enhancement shaman player, the departure of fire nova/flame shock spread AoE and the need to baby our fire damaging totem are some quality of life changes that i have long awaited for, also all the new thing that will take same time to get use to, like Maelstrom resource and self-buff managing

The last few expansions I have only played in PvP due to the lack of time I get to hop online. Though I wouldn't mind giving raiding a shot again with a casual guild (If they still exist). I'm looking forward to the new Honor and Prestige system that reflects on how much time you put in to the game, as well as how well you play. In a more general overview, I can't wait to see all the class changes and how well it balances out, and also how artifacts will play in both PvE and PvP. Also, I've just recently upgraded my computer so I am excited to play Legion on Ultra settings with the new models and textures. It will feel like quite a fresh game

I'm actually really looking forward to see/test all the new stuff and also to try new class in past 11 years it's the first time i'm thinking to play melee class.  But still i'm hoping to get beta access to try all the changes to old classes and artifact weapons before legion gets released my short list of classes is warlock (main),hunter, mage and demon hunter.

Hyped also abut new class halls even tho it looks like there is no “building base” mini game like in garrison. I liked concept of garrison in wod.

The new wardrobe transmog system is also big plus to legion.

Im hoping in legion we will finally get first fight with Sargeras (like last raid before next expansion) where we push him back to Argus.

I am very exited for Legion and am very hopeful that the expansion will be great. I look forward to the new PvP honor system and the new PvP talents as well as the new PvE content. So far, I have enjoyed the complexity of my main class, the Windwalker monk and would like to preserve its uniqueness. As far as PvE content goes, I have enjoyed many of the different and unique boss fights and I am looking forward to see more in Legion.

I'll start with one of fondest memories, my first ever raid was Karazhan I had never been so excited and immersed in my life it was so surreal.Come Legion there really isn't much I'm not looking forward to, Well maybe PvP as i don't do any of that, The lore and story looks to be amazing I can't wait to see how the weapon talent's play out. Most of all I'm looking forward to killing Gul'dan I already have a prayer ready for him, Being a Paladin it's only fitting

Really looking forward to all the priest changes. I thought I would finally change my main, but Blizzard had to go and make all three specs enticing

I'm really excited to see another continent come to life in the new expansion. Besides raiding I'm looking forward to see their new plans for professions, the new storyline, artifcat weapons and endgame content at release. The combat looks also really fantastic from what I've seen so far. In WoD I really enjoyed raiding and looking for rare mounts all over the place. I recently started leveling again because I didnt see much of the revamped zones but I'm really enjoying it so far. Thanks for doing this giveaway guys and I'll hope icyveins will be the place to go looking for guides when Legion hits

I am new to the Icy Veins community.  I recently returned to WOW after a 5 year hiatus.  I started playing WOW during the Burning Crusade (2007ish) until Cataclysm about the end of 2010.  I think advertisements about the new film and the upcoming Legion expansion are the reasons I came back.  Icy Veins has been a big help in re-familiarizing myself with game-play

I'm looking forward to the Demonology Warlock and Windwalker Monk changes.  The Combo Strikes mechanic looks to be really engaging, and the idea of commanding an army of demons is just too cool to ignore

I have to say that I am extremely excited to see the changes that will be rolled out for the brewmaster monks, fitting more with the fantasy of dodge and parry as well as utilizing the choice of the different brews.  I absolutely love the choice to use!

I have been playing the game since late vanilla and have always enjoyed the raiding aspect of the game. While i enjoy current content it can get stagnant quickly when doing the same bosses over and over again. So I am very much looking forward to the new raiding content, which I shall be playing on the new Demon Hunter class as DPS (I need to learn the class on icy-veins). My fondest memory was killing Lich King 25 man Heroic with 2 people left alive, having most of the group get knocked off. Was the best nerd scream I have ever herd

I am looking forward to the artifact system, the dynamic leveling system and all the changes they are doing to all of the classes. As well as that I am looking forward to the Raid (s) that are coming and hope that they are on par with Hellfire Citadell.

I am really looking forward to the new class changes 4 shadow/disc-priest as well as 4 the survival hunter. I really like where they are going with them. One input from my side: PLEASE, make off-hands visible. All the artefact weapons are looking really cool but its sad that we shadows just see our dagger (axually i really don´t get why this isn´t in the game since years.)And one wow-memory iám looking back to - my first random epic drop in vanilla(argh vanilla was epic) in Tanaris.cya in the beta, hopefully

The artifact weapons are a thing that have really caught my attention. Cant wait to play the weapon quest lines on my alts. and the new and improved transmog system is nice. Goodbye to full void storages and bank tabs  One thing I will always remember is the first Ragnaros kill back in the day. Havent had the same feel of accomplishment since. what a great feeling it was.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
