Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

For 10 years and counting, I’ve been an active wow player, and for the majority of them my focus been towards raiding. Every expansion has brought new great raids, but the best part about WoW for me, has been the close community of my guild. So in legion I have big expectations to how the raids will be, and very excited about the class overhauls, which I believe is a major face-lift for the game as whole. Really looking forward a new era of World of Warcraft with guildies and others one may meet in game.

I can't wait playing the demonhunter 'cause I really love playing alts and different classes, having maxed all of the existing classes at this moment.

Furthermore I really enjoy the raid-content in WoW and would love to fight all the new bosses with my guild.

Last but not least the Artifacts with their talent-trees are very interesting for me.

At first I wasn't so sure about this expansion, with all the "look they are back!" kinda recycled content.

Luckily looking at gameplay videos in the last month made me change my mind a bit, some of the new zones are charming and I can't wait to delve in the artifact quests and their lore, actually these are the things that won me over for legion!

I am so excited for legion. The thing im probably looking forward to the most is getting to try out all the different artifact quests and of course Demon Hunters. It will be fun because it will be a new experience for all of us. One of my best memories in this game was being able to kill garrosh for the first time last xpac. I have been playing on and off since wotlk but last expac was the first time i actually joined a guild and got experience a raid from start to finish and the moment we all killed him was the best feeling ever.

Hm, there´s so mutch I´m looking forward to in Legion, the DH mostly of course. But I´m also exited about how the Lore continues, will Illidan be friend or enemy? What´s Gul'dan up to on the Broken Isles? So many Questions.

I´m realy exited about Legion, more than I ever was before, except for Wrath maybe

Well, A lot of things to look forward to. Most of which are demon hunters. I always liked illiadin playstyle in HotS and I like to be that class that can go in a fight and escape when things get sticky. Also can't wait for the transmog wardrobe as it will incentive me to actually start transmoging my characters. I always get lazy.

Actually what I am looking forward mostly is for wow to get revived again. The population is down below minimum and that really hurts my raiding guild. So I really would like everyone to come back and we start raiding mythic =)

What I am not looking forward to is all the class changes. Nothing looks good to me specially the spec I main. Really horrible changes which is one of the reasons why I would love to try legion beta.

I don't really have special fond memories to remember since my guild is newly established. I'm looking forward to making them in legion though when the guild becomes bigger !

I'm looking forward to the beautiful and cute things in  the world (of warcraft). Exploring the new regions and expanding my pet collection. I hope there will be a new pet collection archievement, I already have over 600.

And since I currently enjoy leveling two new alt characters, I can't wait for the demon hunter to level two of those as well. In the past I enjoyed big capital cities for both factions, so I hope the new Dalaran will be as good as the old one.

Hey I was very happy when I first saw the trailer to legion and the demon hunters, since I first started playing wow some friends where assuming all the time with me what could be possibly the next classes and the demon hunter will always come up first xD what I'm hoping for is a better pvp balance where the horde would be as good as alliance (humans) still I am already happy that they will come with so much new content and special classes quests which I was missing for getting a good "relationship" with your class. Also hoping for the beta key :)

Personally, I am looking forward to the artifact weapons and the progression system they bring. That motivates me to play several different classes and specs, solely based on how awesome most of the artifact weapons are.

For me, it's the transmog wardrobe. I'm spending this final year of WoD grinding out all the quests available by wearers of all the armor classes, to unlock all of those armor models. I'll probably use some time in Legion grinding dungeons and raids to fill out the wardrobe, too. The restrictions are going to make this one helluva time sink (I wish they would lift the wearability restriction at least for old completed quests...)

I have played on and off since burning crusade and have always enjoyed leveling. I never got very big into endgame because i enjoyed the leveling process so much. I am excited to see how the leveling up goes in Legion and hope it will be fun and exciting and not hurry up and get to end game. exploring all the class changes is also something i am excited about.

Since for me WoW is heading to it's end at the moment, content is boring and only thing thats left is making alts and raiding HFC for the 100th time I'm really looking forward to playing Legion and see for myself whether it will revive this game or will be it's final nail to the coffin. I'm really looking forward to trying Demon Hunter and artifact system , as well as wardrobe system. Next thing I want to check out is ofc new lore and and continent in which Beta access will greatly help. As to my fondest memory from WoW i think it is the first time I went inside the ICC and it was so great that I felt the chill in my bones ^^

Honestly, I'm most excited about the new transmogrification system! Transmog has been one of the main things that has kept me interested in the game because I love being able to customize my character's looks and collecting all the different weapons and armor pieces that are available. The new system gives me even more reason to collect everything I can possibly get, so it will give me more reason to play WoW as well.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
