I find myself listening to podcasts and hoping they will have insight into when my incessant futile searching for a WoW replacement will end with new content as I have loved this game since vanill.... Err classic and have raided at many levels from noob to casual to realm first and I am awaiting the one thing that can fill this hole in my escape from reality that is Legion. I'm excited to see new dungeons and hang out with friends who are excited and racing along with me to see it all as slowly or as quickly as we choose but mostly I want to be enveloped again and maybe next time Blizzard can bring it sooner so that this void is smaller than the 16 month or 14? month cavern.

Thanks

I'm really excited about everything in Legion, especially the brand new demonology warlock.

Summoning demons is cooooool !

And in PvP combat, even if demonology warlock is under hard control, demons are still dealing damage, which make warlock sooooooo OP!

The first time I entered Iron Forge was amazing.  The music and ambient sounds gave me chills. I was so immersive and amazing.  WoW was my first MMO and no other MMO has captured the same immersion and wonder that WoW did.

I'm extremely hyped for legion. I've always enjoyed the lockish classes like Warlock and Death knight, Demon Hunters look like they will be really fun... Probably will completely kill off my Monk though. I'm also looking towards the flying Skull for demonology.

The best part about classic WoW was the server communities. You could go camp the exit from the IF to Searing Gorge tunnel for a couple hours, picking apart raids that chose not to mount up as a group to head to BRM and it would actually end up as a forum post heckling these "horde nerds with nothing better to do." I don't see much of that anymore. I look forward to the new pvp system though, looks like an awesome marriage of the original grind based honor system with something that's actually attainable when you're no longer 15 and can play 16 hours a day for weeks straight to get HWL.

Looking forward to experiencing new content with my (now) wife.  Over the last 8 years we've always tackled thing together as bear and fire mage and rocked our way through.  Ready to max out mains and then enjoy the demon hunter content.

In Legion I think I am most looking forward to end-game progression that isn't raiding - namely, the new Challenge Mode system. I don't really like to schedule time for raiding or gaming in general, and the latest expansions have been really stale in the 5-man department which has always been my favorite content. Also the transmog changes will be a welcome change to my overflowing banks.

My fondest memory is probably from my first run of Molten Core back in vanilla. I was playing hunter and they put me in charge of pulling. So it comes time to pull Baron Geddon and every one is finally fully buffed up and we're ready to go. I pop Eyes of the Beast and run down the tunnel. I get to the other side and in my nervousness I couldn't remember which boss I was supposed to pull and the first one I saw was Shazzrah. In my noobishness I of course didn't know Baron Geddon patted through the instance. So I grab Shazz, turn around to head back and here comes Geddon. So Wolfy's got two raid bosses chomping his tail and I announce "inc" to the raid, who are completely unaware of unmitigated disaster that was about to happen.

Needless to say, it was a wipe and we spent the next 30 minutes running back and reapplying all the buffs again. Pretty embarassing, but it always reminds me of a time when I was new to the game and everything was met with a sense of wonder and uncertainty.

I started playing World of Warcraft in 2005, it was the first computer game I'd played in 10 years - but given I had just been divorced and lost my house, it was something I had heaps of time to do.

I loved it from the start - not because of the graphics, but because of the immersion. I felt like I was there. It was a real escape from the then dismal reality of my life.

As the years have gone on, through the ups and downs of WoW the immersion and flexibility of what I can do has held me in thrall to the game.

My favourite place and moment was my Night Elf Druid leaving the island and landing in Auberdine. I loved that place, I was so sad to see it destroyed by the Catalcysm - but then again that's what Cataclysms do, they destroy what you love.

In Legion, I'm looking forward to the return to more identifiable specs, a de homogenisation of the classes. I'm someone who much prefers individual uniqueness over balance. These days are coming back in some sense in Legion, and I'm looking forward to that.

I'm, like every raider, excited for the next raids, waiting good mechanics and new contents, but for the news, im waiting for the transmog vault to clean my bags, play with a new class (Demon Hunter) and see the quests that blizzard is allways inovating, i think the quests will be very funny and deeply into the lore.
I hate the way like itemization in HFC was made, and i think in the next raid blizzard will be comming back with all raid with the same ilvl, because this way made on HFC i hated.

My english is not so good, so sorry for any mistake.

The new pvp system seems pretty interesting as someone who hasn't played much pvp after cata. Also bringing back the class fantacy is going to be interesting. Artifacts look really damn cool too.

I'm very much looking forward to Legion and hope to get in beta at some point. I really like the direction they seem to be going with things like tanks and what seems to be a much better approach to PVP. I hope I enjoy my monk as much as I did in Pandaria.

I´m really hyped to play Legion. I hope that Blizzard will do their best with this expansion. It has a really big potential to be one of the best expansion. There is alot of content and alot of ways in endgame for players how to obtain gear. But as a "lore fan" I´m really looking forward to the story progression and Legion ending. After reading Chronicles and hearing some plot in a Illidan novel, it will be really interesting in a Legion. So I´m excited for lore plot at the first place. But also as a retired raider, the new raids and dungeons are cool as usual. I´m really looking forward to fight Guldan.

What did I enjoy in a past? Well, Mists of Pandaria was a really good expansion, so It was for me one of the best in terms of lore so far. TBC is a 2nd, but Pandaria was great because of tons of new lore and epic storytelling throughout the whole expansion (Lorewalker Cho, Wrathion questline, Scenarios). It gives something new into the storytelling.

And my best memory from WoW in general? Maybe first leveling experience while I started to play WoW back in TBC. When I leveled my first character, that was the most epic feeling in a game, because I didn´t know anything about the game and that content was amazing because you didn´t know what you could expect at the end of the journey of leveling (if you hadn´t read something about that before). And another memory is not so far from now. The raiding (like serious raiding) back in a MoP was the best experience. I´ve raided like 3 years without any break so that was epic for me and it brings alot of good memories aswell as bad(raid progression is not about just good moments).

And my opinion on WoW? Well WoW is on a decline. But there is still a chance for WoW in Legion. But game has to be changed a little bit for 2016 standards (kids plays MOBAs these days, so they arent familiar with multiple buttons and skills, so that´s what Legion is doing. Changing WoW in a way, when it will be friendly towards the new players).

I have to admit, I was trying really, really hard not to be too hyped for Legion. Big expectations can lead to big disappointments after all. But...ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN! biggrin.png

Especially now that MM hunters (my oldest and most played toon/spec) are getting pets back in this latest build. I am looking forward to enjoying and exploring the new zones with my husband. I am seriously curious about how the story lines are going to tie together and evolve since the zones wont be linear and you can do them in any order that tickles your fancy. I also like the attention that 5man dungeons seem to be getting this expac. I love running dungeons, both for leveling purposes and for a fun activity to do with guildies at endgame when you don't have enough online for a raid. To be honest, I haven't been this excited about WoW since Wrath.

I'm looking forward to the revamped demonology warlock and finally being able to play a demon hunter. Also hopefully getting new lore on the Naaru one of my favorite memories in wow is back in WOTLK doing Crusader Bridenbrad's quest chain and having A'dal show up at the end and say the light doesn't abandon it's champions and uplifting him... I cried manly tiers that day.

I'm interested with how they handle Demon hunters. Alliance players may know that they have been in the game since Cataclysm with the idea there may be some about the world already. I'm also looking forward to seeing how the world of Warlords of Draenor fits into all this. It would be odd to crate all of this and then just leave it. I'm a bit nervous about artifact weapon talents, it looks pretty complicated. The thing I'm looking forward to most though is the class hall. I love the Garrison, and am hoping you can use some of that in the hall, again hoping they tie the two expansions somehow.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
