Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

I'm a Chinese player. Unfortunately, the Chinese don't open the bianconeri test server. World of warcraft in China is not a mainstream game, but I still love this game, I have been playing the game for a long time, I want to join the testing, learn some new version of the content.

I wish I could understand my Cnglish: lol:

I fell in love in MoP with monk class, I REALLY hope that Legion will improve it bringing more interesting mechanics and a faster gameplay :)

I'm also looking forward the artifact weapons, challenge modes, the new class, and of course raids, new quests... everything biggrin.png

Since WoD left me disappointed, I'd like to feel the same sensations I felt during MoP: never bored! (except with SoO...) Class halls system will be gorgeous!

Hi, im looking forward to Demon Hunters. All these years i felt that no class is perfect for me. I like warrior style but also i like magic, but i dont like corpses and all these things about DK . Same is shaman, I do not like totems and whole playstyle. So back in TBC  days, I discovered Illidan and that he is a Demon Hunter and then a realized this is it, the perfect class for me. So all these years i have been waiting for this moment, for expansion with Demon Hunter class. Thank you so much Blizzard for this!

Im sorry for my bad english guyssmile.png. I hope you will understand.

I'm really excited of all class changes, especially of pally, ench-shaman and druid! From the beginning of Cata i wait for ret pal mastery changes, and finally Blizzard hear my voice. :D

Another great change of Legion is Honor System, can't wait for devastating fight for Alterac or Warsong :)

Ah, my favourite moment of WoW was when i finally reach my first 60 character! Regardless of being teen, it was a great day and a great moment :D

Truly what i'm most looking forward to in Legion is really just immersing myself fully in the game like I did in the past. With WoD, I was somewhat engaged, but I wasn't really enraptured by the game play, y'know? It doesn't have to be specifically questing, pvp, or raiding, but really just taking it all in. I also really really look forward to the demon hunter starting area. Like with WotLK and Death Knights, or MoP and the pandas, the first few steps you take in that new class in that new zone... Man. Those moments are unforgettable.

As for my favorite moment in WoW, I'd have to say my first days of playing. When I made my first Blood Elf and ran around Eversong. The world, at the time, was so vast and unfamiliar.

Happy aniversary! Okay im happy i'll see new PVP and honor system, also new class i can play, but I would be really happy if Blizz adds more dungeons in this enxpansion, more than in MoP and WoD, I usually play PVP but I like doing PVE as well. I also hope its gonna be a good story about legion and I think I would like new artifact weapons. In past, I really enjoyed MOP, I really liked the atmosphere and music on Pandaria, I still spend much time sitting there.

I am super excited to try out the new leveling zones and their lore. With the artifact weapon in hand, we will take down Gul'dan and perhaps some demons along the way! All in all: Artifact weapon, raids and leveling experience.

cheers,

Alex

I'm really looking forward to the new PVP system since we haven't really seen anything new about PVP since MOP (except Ashran, but we all know everyone used it just for the gear not for fun).

I think removing gear advantage will really show the potential that new players or pve-ers can show since not everyone will be able to gear right away.

What I am really looking forward to in Legion is the development of the classes to make them more unique, distinguished and special. I like that Blizzard is making it easier to immerse yourself in your character by making you feel different from the other classes, like the class halls, legendary artifacts and questlines. It has been done before in WoW, with a few quest lines (like the warlock green fire quest chain), but never seen much impact in how you might see your character.

My absolute favorite WoW moment was in WotLK, when doing the quest chain for the Wrath Gate in Dragonblight for the first time. I hadn't managed to get to max lvl in TBC, so I was trying to rush through the content to get to lvl cap in Wrath, but when I saw the cinematic, I was awestruck. It was awesome to see how the battle unfolded, and Proff. Putrice appearing out of nowhere got me bimboozled. What followed after the cinematic is probably one of the coolest quests I've ever experienced in WoW, namely the quest to retake Undercity with your factions leader. Fighting your way through the abominations in the ruins of Lordearon, to fighting Mal'ganis himself at the end with your factions leader was incredible from start to finish. That quest-chain alone got me hooked on the story and lore of WotLK and further piqued my interest for the lore of Warcraft later on.

Definately looking forward as to how Sylvanas her story is going to be, and then the gnome hunter.... I've been waiting such a long time for that! hmm..and the Ironforge king Magni, wondering if we will see him this expansion.

the class halls seems awesome and the profession quests sounds great too!smile.png

I am looking forward to the artifact system in Legion.

My fondest memory in World of Warcraft would have to be when, for my birthday, my guild had a War Games tournament even though most of them at that time disliked PVP of any kind. It was truly a fun night and a great birthday!

I'm looking forward to Broken Isles, to exploring the goldish-looking forests of Stormheim, to drop by the Taurens in Highmountain, perhaps try flying one of their kites.Judging from the screens, the NightElf's Azsuna will make Ashenvale.memories surface and their seems to be simlilarities with Satyrnaar and Felfire Hill. WoD added a new dimension with the many cinematics and player involvement in the main quests. I hope they keep the storytelling-process going and possibly add some more lore and quests to the raiding content than was the case in WoD and I will be delighted as I'm heading to linger in the corruption of Emerald nightmare and Suramar Palace looking to process toward Illidan. Needless to say, I'm a nerd. gl hf gg

Helloo theeere!!smile.png

I don’t recall my first few experiences in wow, because I first started playing it 11 years ago however because English wasn’t my first language what I mainly did as a 9 years old child in this game was simple explore the beautiful world that world of war craft is. Playing as a healer was always my main source of fun, healing, feeling wanted, and killing everyone on early games due to such a strong survivability with all them available healing skills I hadbiggrin.png .

I’ve always been loyal to my healer and always been proud to be a horde member supplying heals to my allies in both PvP and raids. I’ve started playing this game on a serious level since the Cataclysm expansion came out and I’m not going to lie I struggled quite a lot as a holy priest back then. For some reason my healing abilities were never as good as the other players of different healing classes but on the same level of minesad.png , I thought it was a problem of my own until some other healer told me that compared to disk priest, holy priest where at bottom of the charts witch made me really sad since the word HOLY and PRIEST is what rings my bells and lets me know that I am playing a healer classsad.png . I didn’t care about the difficulties I suffered and kept on playing, until Warlords of Draenor came out, my healing skills were finally scaled up to a decent level and I was finally happy with my healings output, with that said, I can’t wait for the new healing abilities and changes introduced to my priest in Legion. I’ve seen videos and reviews and all of them suggests how Priest might once again be on the top of the charts and always needed in party depending on the situation that is.

But mostly what I’m seriously looking forward with this expansion would be no more no less than the wardrobe system. All my bank slots are full with transmogs from which I change and try to achieve the best combination ever existed and common, what’s better than a professional healer… …a daaaamn good looking healer.

In a game of where I’ve put so much effort into looking good, there’s nothing that could make me happier to see such a feature being introduced to the game, especially when now finally everyone will be able to look exactly like they’ve ever wished, not by only searching for the things they’ve ever wanted but also by easily keeping track of everything they have, not to mention that none of those things will ever occupy space on the user’s inventory which basically means that once again I will feel so organised in gamelaugh.png .

After finding out that you would also be able to loot Legendary items from mobs, made me so happy and although I’ve never been lucky with mounts and low % drops such as legendary items, besides from the time when I fought illidan once and straight away I got the “Warglaive of Azzinoth” many people were looking for. I was so sad it was a soulbound item and that item happened to be looted by none other than my priestsad.png sad.png sad.png .

I will also be highly looking forward to these new legendaries item and hopefully with some gridding and luck I’ll win one of them or 2, or all of them *-*

I hope I win one of these beta keys as I’ve been dying  to see all the new beautiful places there are now available for us to explore and more.

Thank you!rolleyes.gif

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
