Icy Veins' 5 Years Anniversary: 200 Legion Beta Key Giveaway

Recommended Posts

Everything! Artifacts, the Demon Hunter (lore and gameplay is looking SICK!). Then im looking forward to see the Legion in full force, just like in Warcraft 3. After seing the Gamescom and Blizzcon Game panel vidoes, I'm expecting alot regarding the storyline. Finally we are getting to experince the Tomb of Sargeras. Can't wait!

My most memorable moment in wow has to be the time when i first loggin in back in 2004. The sensation in my body was insane. To walk into the world, play the char and experiencing everything was awesome. Didn't get much sleep the first couple of months xD

I'm really excited about the new leveling zones and the revamped leveling zones. Exploration is extremely fun for me. And now that they are adding so much and polishing so much I feel like I have a whole new world to explore. In addition I am excited about the in-depth and interactive quests.

Been playing Elemental Shamans since Burning Crusade. So many years I have put into this class and it just hasnt been with the top tier classes in the game for a while now. As soon I as I read the legion class information I was beyond excited. Hopefully my favorite class and spec will make a return in Legion. I'm so sick of playing Enhance in RBGs. Yes it is good but Ele could be just as good. Really looking forward to a key to test it out. Thanks.

First of all i think the Demon Hunter Class is the most excitable feature of Legion . The most anticipated Class since the beginning of WoW , Demon Hunter will fullfill most of our dreams . Then im possitive about Order Halls not being a new garrison but a new . improved version of it . Lastly i wanna just do a /pray to be a winner of this giveaway . Cheers !

I am beyond excited for Legion! I began playing at the launch of vanilla and raided on a weekly basis until the birth of my first daughter in 2011. My second daughter came along just 13 months later and my role as a mother far outweighed my role as a raid healer lol.

I attempted to play casually here and there throughout Cata and MoP. It just wasn't the same for me. My favorite aspect of the game is, and always has been, raiding.

Now, my girls are on the cusp of turning 5 and 4 - April and May! I recently began playing again because I find myself with a lot more free time than I used to have.  WoD is absolutely amazing! It feels like a totally new game for someone who played for 7 years straight. I am so happy to be back at it. Even my girls think that WoW is awesome - smart kids lol. They have their own toons now, of course haha. And, being the mom of two preschoolers, you can imagine how great it is to take out stress via pvp!

Based on all of the changes I have already seen, I can't imagine how great all of the new content is going to be. I am very much looking forward to trying out the Demon Hunter, as I am sure everyone else is. The new transmog system sounds pretty awesome, as well.

I am looking forward to more leveling. I know some hate leveling characters but then some of us have so many max level characters we actually lose count.  Getting to see new quests and new raids to make a old game feel like new again.

A few of my fondest WoW memories happened in Dragon Soul when we managed to down bosses despite being so, so close to failing. We had this mage who didn’t do perhaps amazing DPS, but boy did he know when to use his utility spells and how to kite blobs and the like and he managed to secure our first Ultraxion and Deathwing kills in such ludicrous ways that my jaw dropped and hit me in the balls. For Legion I’m looking forward to playing rogue with the new Outlaw spec, can’t wait to be a pirate! Yarr! :D And also can’t wait to try out double jumping with DH, looks awesome!!!

I've been playing wow since vanila, but I started using this site back in mop to get better at my shamy, (gratz btw.)

I'm really hopping that Legion brings back the players together in a new adventure that will be so enjoyable as it used to be, when getting ready for a raid was so thrilling, Id put on my headset and ignore real life to get drawn into a world of fantasy that was soo  fresh and dangerous that Id think twice before attaking an imp or nightstalker while traveling through the NE starting zone. (aah the nostalgia).  Artifacts, new class and pvp changes are what make me want to play Legion now.

I came into this world during Warlords of Draenor as a young calf in Thunderbulff. I grew to become a strong, full heifer. I had no place to belong until I found my home with bEEF hORDERS. I've truly enjoyed our guild parties, activities and raids. It makes me feel like a prime cut. I don't have the same experience as my elders but I'm a quick learner. I like to be the protector of my herd. It's been a fun and mooooving experience.

I can't wait for the new transmog system. A young heifer has to be marbled marveled at while exploring dungeons and the world. This new system will lighten my haul and let me show off my rack.

I'm most excited about the Arms Warrior changes. I played a Prot Warrior for the first half of WOD, but that got old for me very quickly. I prefer PvP, which I think to be a much faster type of gameplay, so I'm psyched to try out both Prot and Arms warriors in PvP.

Throughout WoW's many expansions I've played all the healer specs so I'm really looking forward to trying out all the new changes and decide on which healer will be my main this time around. I've got my eyes on Resto Shaman and MW Monk right now but with all the changes that come with the new builds I'm probably going to decide last minute what I play XD.

I can't wait for the new raids either, by far my favourite aspect of the game and what I spend the most time doing. The new PVP system also has me a bit intrigued and I might finally try out arenas in this expansion!

There're two very big things I'm looking forward to:

  1. Blizzard have done a great job revamping classes in Legion, can't wait to play a spec I've never tried before
  2. I've always seen the Legion lore as the "main" story of Wow and Azeroth. My fondest memories are of TBC, close to the same villains, so I'm really looking forward to seeing it's conclusion

P.S For some reason, I feel like this might be Wow's last expansion... I need to play the hell of out Legion in case that really happens biggrin.png

I'm new to WoW this expansion, so not terribly much to reminisce about quite yet, but I have enjoyed the Heroic and Mythic HFC content a lot.

I'm looking forward to being part of the progression race for Legion (albeit probably a bit on the slow side), and I'm especially excited that the implementation of Artifact Weapons mean that I won't have to wait tirelessly week after week to get my weapon drop, I'll have it from the get-go.

Today, we release our Path of Exile site. It is not entirely finished yet, but the content is there and we felt comfortable sharing it with Path of Exile players from our current audience.
This is a project that we have been working on for quite some time (so nothing to do with the recent Diablo announcements or lack thereof). We developed a CMS from the ground up, using our many years of experience with Icy Veins as a basis for the various features we required on the publishing side of the site. We also added things such as a proper item database or a dev tracker. These are things we can't have on Icy Veins, because the tech the site is running on would not permit it. Hopefully, one day we can run Icy Veins on our new tech and do all these things, if we feel like it.
As I was saying above, the site is not 100% ready, but it is very close in terms of features. We worked hard in the past two weeks to fix all major bugs, so that end users can have a smooth experience, and we have enough content to cover the currently most popular builds. So we are waiting for your feedback!

Currently you will find the following things on the site: guides and news for Path of Exile, an item database (still missing out a couple of base items), a dev tracker (Official Forums + Twitter + Reddit), and of course forums where people can discuss about that game.
Our guide offering is currently as follows:
Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist Build Arc Mines Saboteur Build Guide Glacial Cascade Mines Saboteur Build Guide Ancestral Warchief Ascendant Build Guide Ascendant Hit Elemental Build Guide Aurabot Ascendant, 8 Auras Build Guide The Cleave Ascendant Build Guide Herald of Agony Occultist Build Guide Frostbolt/Glacial Cascade Totems Hierophant Build Guide Uber Labyrinth Farmer Juggernaut Build Guide Rain of Arrows Deadeye Build Guide Tornado Shot Deadeye Build Guide The Baron Zombies/Skeletons Necromancer Build Guide Toxic Rain Pathfinder Build Blade Flurry Gladiator Build Guide Spectral Throw Raider Build Guide Cyclone Slayer Build Guide We also have a beginner guide for fresh exiles.
With all that said, we're hoping to see you on that new website and are looking forward to your comments!
Please welcome our newest website on Path of Exile!
