tanking addons!

hey guys i am new tank and looking some helpful addons for protection paladin and how to set up them maiby some pictures or just advice what addons to use to make life much easier :)and some good ui setup bcuz the blizzard ui is crap :P and as i sayd pictures would be helpful :)

basic one is good name plates

i use tidy plates - threat plates in default setting you see there what you tanking by green name plate and not tanking by red

I would recommend 3 addons:

1. Tidy Plates - as Scorp mentioned.

2. Weak Auras - use Theck's strings.

One I came across that has been helpful for dungeons is TauntMaster http://www.curse.com...wow/tauntmaster

Gives you a button to click on to auto taunt off your group members rather than trying to target them directly. Simple click and done. Also works for warrior intervene, kinda like a healbot for tanks.

I also use Tidyplates with Threatplates and spellflash for rotations.

Don't forget about Omen http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/omen-threat-meter

Comes quite handy in fights like Oondasta, where you need to know when to drop aggro for other tanks, and how much you have to reacquire in order for proper tank switching.

I actually have a separate Skada Meter window for threat and  simply look at that. It's probably not the best but it's interesting on non-tanks and useful to  some extent on my tanks.
