alakar 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) 1. how much of a dps loss would it be if i would use a dagger in MH as combat or a non-dagger as MH as sub? 2. could it be worth the loss of an optimal weapon type if i had a much higher ilvl weapon for that slot? 3. do you use your "stronger" weapon in the MH or OH? 4. does one of the specs "require" a specific ilvl to work? (just started leveling a rogue recently, so it will be likely that i will have huge jumps in ilvl once i get to 90) Edited April 21, 2013 by alakar

(just started leveling a rogue recently, so it will be likely that i will have huge jumps in ilvl once i get to 90) We are going to use Simulation Craft here. I will be doing tests with the Tier 15N profiles. 1. Combat with Dagger MH DPS without modifying profile: 153956.1 (+/- 115.7) DPS when replacing Hand of the Dark Animus with Fyn's Flickering Dagger (but keeping exactly the same stats): 144005.8 (+/-107.0) 1. Subtlety with Non-Dagger MHDPS without modifying profile: 149231.8 (+/- 103.5) DPS when replacing Fyn's Flickering Dagger with Hand of the Dark Animus (but keeping exactly the same stats): 103460.9 (+/- 74.1) 2. For Combat, you can use a higher item level Dagger in MH. For Subtlety and Assassination, you cannot.3. Stronger weapon always in MH. 4. All specs are viable as soon as you reach level 90.
